There is something within the human spirit that draws us to link our lives now to memories past—significant places and events that were altogether life-changing. We see this in makeshift memorials along the roadside and statues in the park, each in its own way, evidence of something profound. Perhaps there is a degree or a photograph on your office wall, and you see locked within its frame a testament to the sacrifice, effort, and discipline you once invested.

 

You may be able to return to a specific spot and share the joy of an unexpected beginning with others. My family got a taste of that years ago. We were standing on the sand in Newport Beach, CA, right where Orange Street and the beach volleyball nets intersect. I gathered the grandkids together and marked the spot, telling them, “Little did I know that right here, during a break in a game, I would meet your grandma, Mimi.” It was a precious moment.

 

Milestones and memorials provoke a retelling of a story to each generation. Is that not true of our Christian experience as well? Where were you first introduced to Christ? When did He become your Saviour? Are there scriptures that fundamentally altered your thinking? Has He led you through manifold trials? Mark each spot in your memory. Commemorate them as a testament to God’s greatness and power.

 

God tells us to remember for a reason. Like Joshua, we need stones of remembrance so that, in retelling our stories to our children and children’s children, God might be glorified.

When death comes to the unbelieving man, it strips him of earthly comforts; his hopes vanish with his last breath. That thought is scary to some, but to those whose destination is heaven, it fills their minds and hearts with a “fullness of joy” foreign to this life.

 

The enjoyment of heaven’s sights, sounds, and experiences is the Father’s good pleasure for His children. Untethered from these earthly bodies, our new bodies await—perfect, clothed with immortality, untainted by anything of this life. No more sin, no more sorrow, no more pain, only unadulterated freedom to worship and to live as God intended.

 

Imagine, basking in the warmth of God’s brilliance, revelling in the nearness of His presence. In heaven, the glory of God will be our illumination, the Lamb our light. With fear and deceit vanquished and darkness and shadows gone, we will see clearly. And oh, what glorious things we will hear! Does your singing sound a bit off-key? It won’t be in heaven. There you will join together with the redeemed from every kindred tribe and tongue—your songs of praise rising as “the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings” (Revelation 19:6). What sweet fellowship you will share!

 

This Earth is but a temporary residence. Jesus said, “I go to prepare a place for you…that where I am, you may be also”(John 14:3). Your meeting with the risen Saviour may come sooner than anticipated. Make sure that you have the assurance of salvation and of heaven today.

MAN FATALLY SHOT AT MAR-A-LAGO

Law enforcement fatally shot a 21-year-old man early Sunday morning who breached the security perimeter at Mar-a-Lago. Officials said Secret Service agents and a Palm Beach County sheriff’s deputy confronted the man, who was carrying a shotgun and gas can. At that point, the suspect put down the gas can, but “raised the shotgun to a shooting position,” Sheriff Ric Bradshaw said. That’s when “the deputy and the two Secret Service agents fired their weapons and neutralized the threat,” Bradshaw explained.No law enforcement officers were injured in the incident. President Trump was not at Mar-a-Lago at the time, and the incident remains under investigation.


TEAM USA WINS HOCKEY GOLD

For the first time in 46 years, Team USA won the men’s Olympic gold medal in hockey.In a thrilling 2-1 overtime finish, New Jersey Devils center Jack Hughes scored the winning goal for Team USA, 46 years to the day of the "Miracle on Ice" victory over the Soviet Union in 1980.“This is all about our country. I love the USA I love my teammates. It’s unbelievable. The USA Hockey brotherhood is so strong,” Hughes said. “I’m so proud to be American today.”


TRUMP ISSUES NEW TARIFFS

President Trump issued new 15% global tariffs on Saturday, just one day after the Supreme Court struck down his previous tariff policies.“During the next short number of months, the Trump Administration will determine and issue the new and legally permissible Tariffs, which will continue our extraordinarily successful process of Making America Great Again,” Trump said. As Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent explained, the Supreme Court “did not rule against President Trump’s tariffs,” but instead ruled that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act could not be used to issue tariffs.

Meanwhile, some Republican lawmakers are calling on Congress to codify Trump’s tariff policies.


JPMORGAN’S BOMBSHELL ADMISSION

After previously denying they debanked President Trump after Jan. 6, JPMorgan Chase admitted in new court filings that Trump’s accounts were, in fact, closed after Jan. 6. More than 50 accounts belonging to Trump were closed after he left office in 2021, according to the New York Times. The court filings show that JPMorgan did not specify why they closed the accounts, but they did mock Trump, ending a letter to him by using his noted phrase, “Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.”Trump is suing JPMorgan Chase and its CEO, Jamie Dimon, for $5 billion.“President Trump is standing up for all those wrongly debanked by JPMorgan Chase and their cohorts, and will see this case to a just and proper conclusion,” a Trump spokesperson said.

Fetterman rips AOC for accusing Israel of genocide while sitting in Germany

Sen. John Fetterman went on "Jesse Watters Primetime" Thursday and did something vanishingly rare for a Democrat: he called out one of his own party's most prominent members for her hostility toward Israel.


The target was Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who used the Munich Security Conference stage to accuse the United States of enabling "genocide" in Gaza and to demand that American military aid to Israel be conditioned on human rights benchmarks.


thFetterman was not impressed.

"I think that the most troubling thing for her views is at she is just, you know, anti-Israel. I mean, and those views and, you know, so clueless — to sit in Germany and accuse Israel of genocide while you're sitting in Germany — and how ignorant that is."

That line does not need a footnote. The congresswoman stood in the country that perpetrated the actual Holocaust and deployed the word "genocide" against the Jewish state defending itself after the worst massacre of Jews since that very Holocaust. The irony writes itself, as Fox News reports.


What AOC Actually Said in Munich

Ocasio-Cortez used her appearance at the Feb. 13, 2026, Munich Security Conference to push for conditioning U.S. aid to Israel under the Leahy Laws, legislation introduced in 1997 by former Sen. Patrick Leahy that prohibits the Department of Defense and State Department from funding foreign security force units when there is credible information that a unit has committed a "gross violation of human rights."


In her remarks, the congresswoman framed this as a simple matter of legal compliance:

"And, so, I believe that enforcement of our own laws through the Leahy laws — which requires conditioning aid in any circumstance when you see gross human rights violations — is appropriate."


She went further, claiming that unconditional U.S. support for Israel "enabled a genocide in Gaza" and that "thousands of women and children dead" resulted from a failure to enforce conditions on aid.


This is, of course, a familiar playbook. Wrap a radical position in the language of procedural concern. Don't say you want to abandon America's most important Middle Eastern ally. Say you just want to "enforce our own laws." The framing is designed to make the extraordinary sound routine.


But no amount of legal window dressing changes what Ocasio-Cortez is actually arguing: that Israel's military response to the Oct. 7, 2023, terrorist attacks constitutes genocide, and that the United States bears moral responsibility for it. That is not a legal argument. It is a political one, and a deeply dishonest one at that.


The "Serious Rot" Inside the Democratic Party

Fetterman did not stop at criticizing AOC personally. He described her "specifically anti-Israel" stance as representative of a "serious rot" within a subset of the Democratic Party. That phrase carries weight coming from a sitting Democratic senator who has, on other issues, remained firmly in his party's mainstream.


What makes Fetterman's criticism notable is not just that he's willing to say it on Fox News. It's that almost no one else in his caucus will say it anywhere. The Democratic Party's progressive wing has spent the last two years steadily normalizing the "genocide" label for Israel's war against Hamas, a terrorist organization that initiated the conflict by slaughtering civilians. The moderates who know better mostly keep quiet, calculating that silence is cheaper than confrontation.


Fetterman, to his credit, has refused that bargain. He has been one of the only Democrats willing to support Israel publicly and consistently since Oct. 7. His willingness to appear on conservative media and say plainly what many of his colleagues only whisper in private is, at minimum, honest.


That does not make him a conservative. When asked about California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Fetterman acknowledged their disagreements but emphasized the "big tent" nature of the Democratic Party:


"I don't agree with him on some of his, you know, views in certain things. California is a lot different than Pennsylvania, but you know, technically we are just Democrats, and now that's why, you know, the Democratic Party has to be a big tent thing and that's why we can disagree on some things."


A big tent is one thing. But a tent that accommodates both Fetterman's position and AOC's "genocide" rhetoric is not big. It's incoherent.


The Geography of the Gaffe

Beyond her Israel remarks, Ocasio-Cortez's Munich appearance also drew mockery for comments about Taiwan and Venezuela, though the specifics of those flubs circulated more widely on social media than in formal reporting. The congresswoman did not respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.


Silence is a choice. When your remarks at a major international security conference spark what the source material describes as "outrage and intense backlash from military and Middle East experts," a serious legislator would clarify or defend. Ocasio-Cortez did neither.


This is the pattern with the progressive left's foreign policy wing. They deploy maximalist moral language on the global stage, accuse allies of the most serious crime in international law, and then treat the predictable blowback as proof that the establishment is afraid of their truth-telling. It is a closed loop. Criticism becomes validation. Backlash becomes branding.


What the "Genocide" Label Actually Does

Words matter in international affairs, and "genocide" is not a rhetorical flourish. It is a specific legal designation with specific consequences. Throwing it at Israel while standing in Germany is not bold. It is reckless.


It equates a democratic nation's military campaign against a designated terrorist organization with the systematic extermination of a people. It gives rhetorical ammunition to every bad-faith actor on the global stage who wants to isolate Israel. And it tells Hamas and its sponsors that their strategy of embedding among civilians works, because Western politicians will eventually blame Israel for the carnage that strategy creates.


Ocasio-Cortez frames her position as compassion for the dead. But compassion that cannot distinguish between the arsonist and the fire department is not compassion. It is confusion, elevated to moral certainty.


Fetterman saw it for what it was. Whether enough of his party agrees with him to matter remains the open question. Based on the silence from the rest of the Democratic caucus, the answer is not encouraging.


The rot Fetterman described is not hiding. It flew to Munich and spoke into a microphone.

The Labour Department sends a strike team to California over a $21 billion Unemployment Debt and Rampant Fraud

The Labour Department has deployed a specialized "strike team" to California to investigate improper payments and alleged fraud riddling the state's unemployment insurance program, a system now $21 billion in debt to the federal government and hemorrhaging taxpayer money at a pace that would make even Sacramento blush.


Labour Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer announced the move after writing a letter to California's Employment Development Department, citing increasing improper payment rates, insufficient timeliness, data accuracy and quality concerns, and serious questions about participants' eligibility and the use of taxpayer funds.


The strike team will include Labour Department specialists drawn from national and regional offices. Chavez-DeRemer did not mince words:

"Financial issues and potential fraud in California's unemployment insurance program will be fully examined. The previous administration turned a blind eye toward failing Labour programs. This ends now."


A state auditor already sounded the alarm

The department pointed to an 83-page California State Auditor report that flagged the state's UI system as "high-risk," citing inadequate fraud prevention and claimant service within the EDD, along with a high rate of overturned eligibility decisions. According to Fox News, California received about $290 billion in COVID relief. The unemployment insurance system, which was supposed to sustain itself, is now $21 billion in the red, propped up by borrowed federal funds that state employers are repaying through higher UI taxes.


So California businesses are subsidizing the state's failure to police its own benefits system. The workers and small business owners footing that bill had no say in the matter.

The fraud wasn't hypothetical. At least one California UI steward was convicted of exploiting her position to file nearly $860,000 in fraudulent claims. Some civilians were convicted of creating nonexistent businesses to claim UI benefits. These are the cases that actually made it to conviction. The scope of what slipped through is the question the strike team now exists to answer.


Nearly $1 billion is sitting on prepaid debit cards

DOL Inspector General Anthony D'Esposito, a former NYPD officer and ex-congressman from Long Island, laid out findings that should stop anyone cold. His office analyzed 6.5 million prepaid debit cards used for COVID-era unemployment benefits and found $720 million still loaded on them, with nearly $1 billion in taxpayer funds deemed "at risk" nationwide due to COVID-related UI fraud.


"My office has warned that, absent swift action, U.S. taxpayers risk losing nearly a billion dollars in fraudulently obtained benefits."

D'Esposito framed the stakes in terms that cut through the bureaucratic fog:

"This is taxpayer money, and it demands immediate attention."


He also connected the dots between fraud enforcement and the cost of living, noting that every misspent dollar is one that an actual needy family could have used.

"When we root out fraud, we protect taxpayers and lower the real cost of living."


Sacramento's silence says plenty

Fox News Digital reached out to California Gov. Gavin Newsom for comment. No response was provided. The state Senate's top Republican was also contacted. Silence there, too.


That silence is worth sitting with. California's unemployment system borrowed $21 billion from the federal government, was flagged by its own state auditor as high-risk, saw employees convicted of filing fraudulent claims from inside the agency, and is now the subject of a federal strike team. The governor had nothing to say.


This is the state that positions itself as the progressive model for the nation. The state that lectures Washington about compassion, equity, and the social safety net. Its unemployment system is a case study in what happens when the people running the safety net stop watching who's grabbing from it.


What competent oversight looks like

The Labour Department's move represents exactly the kind of muscular federal accountability that taxpayers deserve. Chavez-DeRemer made clear this isn't a review or a study or a politely worded memo:


"Immediately, we are engaging a specialized strike team to uncover any potential fraud or abuse and quickly moving to protect the American worker and taxpayers. I look forward to restoring the California UI program's integrity and financial health."

The word "immediately" matters. So does the framing. This isn't about punishing California for sport. It's about protecting the workers and taxpayers who fund these programs, as well as the genuinely needy families who depend on them.


Fraud doesn't just steal from the treasury. It steals from the unemployed worker who plays by the rules and waits months for a legitimate claim to process while grifters drain the system dry.


California had $290 billion in COVID relief, a state auditor waving red flags, and years to fix this. It borrowed $21 billion instead. Now the adults have arrived.

A deeper look into history reveals that QAnon and these manipulation tactics are nothing more than roughly 100-year-old manipulation tactics at work; it is nothing new.


In 1921-1926, communist Russia was in the midst of a potential upheaval from the people to attempt to overthrow the communist government that had already thoroughly controlled the government and the outlets of Russia.
