The Monolith and the Worship Site:

Is this where Melchizedek Worshiped?

The Monolith of Silwan, one of the oldest tombs in Jerusalem, is across the Kidron Valley from the Gihon Spring.  Why is this important?  Because the Gihon Spring is the location of the ancient worship site unearthed by Dr. Eli Shukron in 2011.  Dr. Shukron dates the site to the time of Abraham and Melchizedek.  


The Gihon Spring is also where King Solomon was anointed king of Israel (I Kings 1:38-39), and the ancient worship site is but thirty feet away.  Scripture does not mention the worship site, which includes Paleo-Hebrew letters which say “House of God,” a standing-stone pillar, and an oil press to make the oil to anoint the stone.  The stone pillar is much like that which Jacob anointed (Genesis 28:18) and is conceivably the very same stone. 

 

My only guess for the lack of mention of the site in Scripture is that the Lord did not want it known in later times.  It was not discovered by either the Babylonians or the Romans.  I believe the site is precious to the Lord because His name is literally there, engraved in the bedrock of the City of David.  It is logical to assume that the Lord does not want this site subject the hatred and conflict that marks the traditional Temple Mount.

 

In my opinion, this worship site indicates the location of the Temple of Solomon which was built above it.  Josephus describes the giant retaining wall that was built next to the Kidron Valley as being so high that you would get dizzy looking over the edge.  


The retaining wall was for the large Temple Plaza, 600 feet by 600 feet according to Josephus, which was right by the Brook Kidron (Nehemiah 2:15-16), and its construction resulted in the ancient worship site and the Gihon Spring being buried.  This, of course, is the reason why neither the Babylonians nor the Romans discovered it.  Dr. Shukron noted that the worship site was purposefully buried with layers of earth and of gravel. 

 

The size of the Temple Plaza also illustrates the complaints of the priests that Jews were using the Temple Plaza as a shortcut between the upper and lower portions of the small City of David.  The Temple Plaza almost blocked all passage.  I am sure you have seen pictures of the traditional Temple Mount.  Does it appear that climbing up to the Temple Mount and then back down again would be a shortcut to use?  In addition, the traditional Temple Mount is blocking nothing.  For more information on the ancient worship site please see


The ancient worship site is now open to the public and is viewed daily.  But no one has made the connection between it and the Temple of Solomon.  It is my belief that this is what the Lord desires.  In my opinion, when the Lord determines the time is right, He will confirm if this is where the Temple was located, or not. 

 

God’s Will is perfect!  His timing is perfect!  May His name be worshipped, adored, revered and praised forever!

The Plan to take back Land:

UNDRIP is a big deal. First for the tribes in BC then all across Canada. 

 

Many of us could resist to the point of bloodshed the new laws determining land use - but I have a Christian argument for the legal reformation, not based on the UN's Declaration of Rights for Indigenous Populations (UNDRIP), but on prophecy in the book Don Brooks and I wrote between 2013-2015 called "Church - Coming of Age". 

 

We predicted that God wants us to go back to the way things were so we can clearly see what our forefathers and their ancestors did wrong and right. 



The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse must ride, and sadly populations will be greatly reduced by natural disasters if not man-made.  The problems emerging in Odessa's video may seem huge, but the solution will be even bigger. 

 

 Canada may no longer exist as we know it today, but once again Whiteman and Redskin will have a chance to work together or kill each other. 

 

Hopefully we get it right this time.  Before we reach the time of Jesus appearance on earth.

OTTAWA — We’re living in dangerous times.

That was the message from Israel’s ambassador to Canada after Wednesday night’s murder of two Israeli Embassy staffers in Washington, D.C.

 

“Dangerous times require all of us to be attentive and attuned to the spread of hate, and incitement that can lead to horrific results like we’ve seen in Washington,” Iddo Moed told the Toronto Sun on Thursday.

Yaron Lischinsky, 30, and Sarah Milgrim, 26, were leaving an event at the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington when they were shot to death.



Elias Rodriquez, 31, from Chicago, was arrested at the scene and chanted “Free, Free Palestine” as he was taken into custody.

 

The murders of Lischinsky and Milgrim — a couple who planned to marry — highlight the hatred and violence within the North American anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian movement, leaving Jewish communities wondering how they safe they really are.

 

“Challenging times mean that we have to be proud of our identity, but also aware and vigilant against the threats that are developing around us,” Moed said, adding that Canada’s Jews expect government and police to ensure they’re doing what they can to keep them safe.

 

“They are expecting the leadership to assure them that their security is top of the agenda, and they need to sense that, and to see that. What I’m getting from the Jewish community is that they sometimes feel abandoned.”

Noah Shack, interim president of the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA), said the murders speak to the danger posed by the intensifying rhetoric of anti-Israel activists.

 

“What happened in Washington is the result of the predictable pattern of growing hate and incitement targeting Jews in North America,” he said. 

 

“While our community is resilient, this should be a wake-up call to all governments about the urgent need for action. This includes strengthening laws to tackle the open support for terrorism taking place in Canadian streets and enhancing measures to secure Jewish institutions here in Canada.”



Prime Minister Mark Carney posted his condolences on social media, calling for action to keep Canada’s Jews safe.

“This was a targeted attack against the Jewish community — a violent act of antisemitism. This hate is intolerable, and I condemn it in the strongest terms,” he said.

 

“My prayers are with Yaron and Sarah, their grieving loved ones, and the entire Jewish community.”

Carney also said plans are in the works to introduce national “bubble zone” legislation to criminalize disruptive and intimidating protests around schools, community centres and places of worship.

Ayelet Razin, a lawyer and expert on international law, was a friend and colleague of Milgrim.


She told the Sun that Milgrim was a key figure in her work advocating for victims of sexual violence perpetrated by Palestinian terrorists during the Oct. 7 attacks.

“She was young, and still she took this mission head-on,” she said. “That’s the kind of person she was.”


Milgrim, Razin said, joined the Israeli embassy shortly after Oct. 7 to help combat rising levels of antisemitism in the wake of the attacks.

“It’s the same antisemitism that she took upon herself as a life’s mission to combat that got herself brutally murdered with her partner,” Razin said.

Wednesday’s murders, she added, highlight the constant threat Israelis and Jews face.


“Every Jew around the world, every Israeli, is afraid to wear a kippah, to have the Magen David on a necklace or speak Hebrew publicly — that’s (Israel’s) government recommendations when we go abroad,” she said.
