Dec. 9 Solar Storm hits Earth:

strong magnetic storm is set to hit the Earth the day after tomorrow, on December 9. According to experts' forecasts, this storm will reach a K-index of 6, corresponding to a high-level red storm. Such a storm can lead to worsened well-being in people and disruptions in electronic devices, according to Meteoagent.

What are magnetic storms?

Various flashes and explosions regularly occur on the Sun, resulting in the release of solar energy into space. These releases disperse in different directions, including towards Earth.

Solar energy consists of charged particles (protons and electrons) that can quickly move through space. When these energy flows reach the Earth's magnetosphere, activity occurs, known as solar or magnetic storms, as described by experts.

Scientists classify storms by intensity: from K-index 2 to K-index 9. All storms above K-index 5 are red-level storms. The higher the K-index, the stronger the storm.

Red-level storms can impact human activity, well-being, and the operation of various communication sources: satellites, GPRS, mobile communication towers, radio frequencies. Polar auroras may be observed during storms with a K-index above 7.

Details about the upcoming storm

After a strong magnetic storm over the past weekend, the magnetosphere has been relatively calm. For almost three days now, a magnetic storm with a K-index of 4, corresponding to a medium-level storm, has been observed.

However, on Saturday, December 9, according to data from satellite systems NOAA, TESIS, and international meteorological laboratories worldwide, the magnetic storm will reach a K-index of 6, corresponding to a strong red-level storm. The storm is expected to subside by Sunday.

How magnetic storms affect humans.

There are numerous studies confirming the correlation between magnetic storms and human well-being.

People often complain of symptoms such as:

Headaches Dizziness Migraines Brain fog Daytime sleepiness Lack of concentration and attention Sleep problems at night General weakness Rapid fatigue Increased anxiety Irritability Aggravation of chronic illnesses

On such days, people more frequently seek help from medical professionals, especially cardiologists.

However, the greatest danger of magnetic storms is posed to astronauts who are beyond the protective shield of the Earth's atmosphere. They are at risk of exposure to high levels of radiation, significantly increasing the risk of cancer.

How to take care of oneself

Doctors typically provide general recommendations and advise individuals to rest more, monitor their health, and get adequate sleep during magnetic storm days.

The former president Donald Trump is still courting voting blocs that have a history of leaning Democratic, and he did so once more in a recent essay that was intended to appeal to younger readers.

The Newsweek opinion piece comes after a recent poll that shows Trump’s growing support from a younger voter base that generally votes more Democratic than Biden. In his article, Trump compared the results of Biden’s and his own economic initiatives, arguing that his leadership had a greater impact on young voters.

 

“With less than one year to go until Election Day, the polls show that we are beating Joe Biden by wide margins both nationally and in the battleground states—and young people are a major part of the reason why,” Trump began. “A recent NBC News poll found that we are leading Biden 46 percent to 42 percent nationally among voters ages 18 to 34—a clear sign that young Americans are rejecting Joe Biden’s reign of failure, incompetence, and corruption.

He went on to emphasize that during his administration, his actions contributed to the creation of the “strongest and most prosperous economy” in global history. He claimed that yearly salaries rose by an average of around $6,000, that inflation remained low at less than 2 percent, and that gas prices in many areas averaged about $1.87 per gallon. He also asserted that household wealth had peaked historically, with the bottom 50% of income seeing a gain in net worth of almost 40%.

 

He also persisted in highlighting how the present administration has only made matters worse for the economy.

“The U.S. economy had never been better for young Americans, but for the past three years, young people have borne the heavy costs of the failed Biden agenda: crippling inflation, soaring prices, skyrocketing interest rates, unaffordable housing, and escalating crime,” Trump said.

“Over the course of the Biden administration, real incomes have gone down by $7,400 per family. Gas prices reached as high as $7 a gallon in some places. Cumulative inflation is 18 percent. And mortgage rates are pushing a brutal seven percent—making home ownership out of reach for countless young Americans,” he argued.

Additionally, the 45th president stated that “the median-income American family could afford a mortgage” since during his four years in office, the average 30-year mortgage rate dropped to roughly 2.65%.

 

“Yet thanks to Biden’s disastrous economy, interest rates have skyrocketed, making home-ownership out of reach for too many Americans, especially young Americans who in previous generations would be looking to start a family,” he wrote. “As a result, historically high numbers of young people are delaying marriage and children. According to a recent study, three quarters of Gen Z and Millennial couples believe it’s too expensive to get married today.”

He added: “Sadly, many younger Americans are putting their lives on hold because they think the Biden economy leaves them no choice.”

Moreover, Trump charged that Biden was waging a “war on energy” that had increased the cost of almost everything that runs on gas and oil under the pretense of implementing a number of the “Green New Deal,” a radical left-wing initiative that prioritizes renewable energy sources like wind and solar power over fossil fuels and was first put forth by Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D‑N.Y.).

 

Trump went on, “New car prices have surged by nearly 30 percent since I left office thanks to that.” Nowadays, the typical price of a new car is an astounding $50,000. Almost all new cars are beyond the reach of the average person. The average monthly car payment has increased to nearly $750 under Biden due to rising interest rates and skyrocketing expenses.

“Instead of helping our young people confidently begin their lives, careers, and families, Joe Biden is crushing their dreams with debt, taxes, and inflation, and paving the way for a future of anger and despair,” Trump added. “Under Joe Biden, we are a nation in decline and rapidly losing the American Dream.”

Next, Trump outlined his plans for his second and final term in office.

 

“I will rapidly rebuild the greatest economy in the history of the world so that young people can thrive and prosper. I will stop Joe Biden’s inflation nightmare, increase energy production, massively reduce government spending, and bring down interest rates, so that young people can once again afford to start a family, buy a home, and plan for a great future—the basic building blocks of the American Dream. I did it before, and we will do it once again,” he said, adding that he will also bring “law and order” to American cities and work to reduce the level of drug overdoses and addiction plaguing the country.

 

“American voters have it within their power to quickly return our country to peace, prosperity, and strength—and no one will benefit from bringing that change to our nation’s capital more than young people,” Trump wrote.

When asked about President Biden’s decision to delist the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen as a terrorist group, National Security Council spokesman John Kirby dodged a reporter’s question on Thursday.

During the daily White House press briefing, Fox News reporter Jacqui Heinrich asked Kirby if Biden has any “regret” about delisting the Houthis as a foreign terrorist organization, and if the government is reviewing the decision. Kirby said no.

“I’ve already said that we are going to review that decision. We are,” Kirby replied, although he gave no time frame for the review.

“I don’t have a date certain for you or any outcome to brief, Jacqui, but we said we’re already gonna take a look and review that decision,” he went on to say.

 

Several Republican members of Congress have encouraged the Biden administration to categorize the Houthis as a foreign terrorist organization (FTO).

The designation was applied to the group by the Trump administration as one of its final acts, but Biden overturned that decision as one of his first acts upon taking office.

At the time, Secretary of State Antony Blinken claimed that the administration reversed the designation because of worries that it would have “a devastating impact on Yemenis’ access to basic commodities like food and fuel.”

However, since the Israel-Hamas conflict began on October 7, the Houthis have been one of several Iran-backed proxy militias harassing Israeli and U.S. forces stationed in the Middle East.

Earlier this month, a group of Republican lawmakers led by Sen. Steve Daines, R-Mont., filed legislation requiring the administration to reclassify the Houthis as a terrorist organization.

The Standing Against Houthi Aggression Act would authorize the U.S. to impose a number of sanctions and actions against the group, including the interruption of financial support networks.

The classification makes it illegal for anybody in the United States or subject to U.S. jurisdiction to knowingly provide material assistance or resources to an FTO, and members of an FTO are inadmissible and, in some cases, liable to expulsion from the United States.

 

The legislation was enacted in response to attacks on U.S. personnel.

The most recent incident occurred on Sunday, when three commercial vessels were attacked in international waters. The Houthis claimed responsibility for the incident, claiming to have launched multiple unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) at two Israeli ships. Israel denies any connection to the ships.

The Carney, a U.S. Navy destroyer, shot down three drones while responding to distress calls from the vessels, which the U.S. military said were affiliated to 14 different nations.

“These attacks represent a direct threat to international commerce and maritime security. They have jeopardized the lives of international crews representing multiple countries around the world,” U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said.

“We also have every reason to believe that these attacks, while launched by the Houthis in Yemen, are fully enabled by Iran.”

Since the middle of last month, U.S. forces in the Middle East have been attacked at least 75 times. This figure does not include attacks on U.S. vessels at sea, according to the Pentagon.

Masks: 

It’s Worse Than We Thought:

A new study published by Cambridge University Press suggests that wearing a mask may be associated with an increased risk of Covid infection.

 

From the study:

The crude estimates show a higher incidence of testing positive for COVID-19 in the groups that used face masks more frequently. …  The risk was 1.74 (1.38 to 2.18) times higher in those who wore face masks often or sometimes, compared to participants who reported never or almost never wore masks.

 

In other words, individuals who always or almost always wear face masks have a 75% higher risk of testing positive for COVID-19 than those who never or almost never wear masks. 

 

It’s important to note that these are crude estimates, and other factors may influence the observed differences in risk. But still, this is damning data for any advocate of mask mandates, particularly following the recent German study on the dangers of rebreathing carbon dioxide.

 

During the early months of the pandemic, I wrote often on the ineffectiveness of wearing masks and the even more troubling social conditioning taking place that threatened our individual freedoms. I wrote this in 2020: 

 

“The scientific usefulness of a mask has been so aggressively overstated, and the foundational importance of the Constitution has been so aggressively understated, that we have normalized people screaming obscenities at each other while hiking.

 

Not wearing a mask is not mere ‘personal choice’ – like deciding between a head covering or a t-shirt. It is a flashpoint for being a free human being who has consented to be governed but has not consented to be ruled. We do not consent to a masked America, because that is a fundamental change in American society, culture, norms, and rights.”

 

The above is an example of freedom-based leadership in opposition to a government hell-bent on a power grab. The government presented manipulated data to create widespread fear – which encouraged citizens to voluntarily give up their freedoms. We need leaders whose starting point is supporting the Constitution – and who then use dispassionate reasoning to arrive at sane policies.

Post-GOP debate straw poll of Georgia voters declares Trump victorious despite his absence from stage:

To be able to emerge victorious from a debate without even showing up is quite a feat, and, as Breitbart reports, it is one that former President Donald Trump managed to accomplish this past week.

Wednesday night saw yet another GOP primary debate take place, this time in Alabama, and though Trump once again made the decision to sidestep the proceedings altogether, a group of 30 voters in Georgia who convened for a watch party deemed him the evening's victor, regardless.

 

The surprising outcome was the subject of a report that appeared on an NBC Meet the Press Special that followed the debate, with the informal straw poll's results articulated by campaign correspondent Nnamdi Egwuonwu.

According to Egwuonwu Trump ended up with 18 of the 30 Atlanta debate viewers declaring him the winner, even though he was nowhere near what turned out to be a rancorous session among Republican hopefuls including Gov. Ron DeSantis, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy.

 

Trump's closest rival in the results was Ramaswamy, who came in at a distance second place with just 5 votes from the informal poll participants.

DeSantis garnered 2 votes, while Christie and Haley took just one each, emphasizing the dramatic margin with which Trump appears to be running away with the primary contest.

As Mediaite noted, Egwuonwu asked of the watch party attendees to describe a particular moment in the debate that “left a mark” on him.

In response, a viewer named Will explained, “What left the mark for me was Nikki Haley being called out for being the warmonger that she is.”

 

Will also said, “At the same time, Ramaswamy holding up a notepad saying, 'Nikki is Corrupt.' And this is something that stands out really strongly in my mind and in the voter's mind.”

The bottom line for him, however, was that “they talked too much about Trump, a man that wasn't on the stage but ruled the stage tonight.”

Will's take on Ramaswamy appeared to resonate with Donald Trump Jr., who was asked after the debate what he thought about the Georgia watch party poll results.

Trump Jr. said, “The people get it, and the reason they gave Vivek the next number and the most is because he called out all the nonsense.”

 

Journalist Megyn Kelly, one of the moderators of Wednesday's debate, said she had been holding out hope that Trump might decide to grace the stage in Alabama, but realized that he really had little incentive to take part in the event, as the New York Post noted.

“I understand why he's not doing it. Just look at the polls. I'm not blind. I see what he sees,” Kelly said of Trump's massive lead in the primary race and his growing advantage over President Joe Biden in a hypothetical head-to-head matchup, but whether his stance on remaining above this particular fray holds for the remainder of the campaign for the republican nomination, only time will tell.

Actor Robert De Niro is one of Hollywood’s most outspoken socialist critics of former President Donald Trump.

The woke extremist actor uses any and every opportunity that arises to whine about the former President.

De Niro was recently a presenter at the Gotham Film Awards in New York City and was scheduled to present his fellow cast members on legendary director Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon the Gotham Historical Icon & Creator Tribute award.

 

He used his platform as a presenter to go on a long-winded rant against the state of Florida under Governor Ron DeSantis’s leadership before pivoting to Trump.

De Niro complained that the awards show erased his Trump-bashing speech from the teleprompter, so he pulled out his phone and read it there. 

“The former President lied to us more than 30,000 times during his four years in office, and he’s keeping up the pace with his current campaign of retribution,” De Niro said.

De Niro repeated a lie that was created by media “fact-checkers” to smear Trump.

He laughably attacked Trump for labeling Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) “fauxcahontas” and mocking her for blatantly lying about supposedly being of Native American descent.

 

De Niro, like many Hollywood actors, thought that the platform an awards show provided was the perfect opportunity to force his left-wing politics down everyone’s throats.

Trump decided to fire back at the Raging Bull actor on his Truth Social platform.

“Robert De Niro, whose acting talents have greatly diminished, with his reputation now shot, must even use a teleprompter for his foul and disgusting language, so disrespectful to our Country,” Trump wrote. “He has become unwatchable both in movies, and with the FOOLS that destroyed the Academy Awards, bringing them from one of the top shows in the Country to a low-rated afterthought. De Niro should focus on his life, which is a mess, rather than the lives of others. He has become a total loser, as the World watches, waits, and laughs!”

While De Niro was taking shots at Trump, his reputation took a hit with a major scandal.

 

His production company, Canal Productions, was found liable of gender discrimination and retaliation against De Niro’s former assistant Graham Chase Robinson, who received $1.264 million in damages. 

The ratings of the Academy Awards have crashed because celebrities have increasingly used it as a platform to shove woke extremism in everyone’s face over the past couple of decades.

Robert De Niro is spending the twilight of his legendary career as a sad and broken Trump hater.

Ukraine:

Joe Biden promised that the United States would take Americans’ hard-earned tax dollars and fully fund the ruling class elites’ proxy war against Russia in Ukraine for “as long as it takes.”

But the Democrat President is now going back on his word.

And Joe Biden’s Budget Director just issued a warning about Ukraine that made President Volodymyr Zelensky’s stomach drop.

 

It’s been roughly 22 months since Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered his military forces to invade Ukraine.

Since the war first began, the ruling class elites in Washington, D.C. have sent more than $75 billion in American taxpayer money to Ukraine for “assistance” – which obviously doesn’t include the tens of billions of taxpayer dollars worth of weapons, ammunition, tanks, drones, and all sorts of other military equipment.

“Since the war began, the Biden administration and the U.S. Congress has directed more than $75 billion in assistance to Ukraine, which includes humanitarian, financial, and military support, according to the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, a German research institute,” taxpayer-funded PBS reported. “Much of the aid has gone toward providing weapons systems, training, and intelligence that Ukrainian commanders need to defend against Russia, which has one of the world’s most powerful militaries.”

 

But the American people have soured on continuing to fund the elites’ proxy war with Russia in Ukraine.

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) recently warned President Biden and his fellow Democrats that any additional aid for Ukraine will be contingent upon securing the border.

Johnson said the Biden regime has failed to address the “legitimate concerns about the lack of a clear strategy in Ukraine, a path to resolving the conflict, or a plan for adequately ensuring accountability for aid provided by American taxpayers.”

“We believe both issues can be agreed upon if Senate Democrats and the White House will negotiate reasonably,” Johnson added.

But Biden’s Budget Director just issued a dire warning to Republicans that funding for Ukraine will dry up by the end of the month unless Congress passes another spending bill.

“Without congressional action, by the end of the year we will run out of resources to procure more weapons and equipment for Ukraine and to provide equipment from U.S. military stocks,” Office of Management and Budget Director Shalanda Young wrote in a letter to Congressional leaders.

“There is no magical pot of funding available to meet this moment,” she added. “We are out of money — and nearly out of time.”

 

Young warned Congress that its continued inaction would “kneecap Ukraine on the battlefield, not only putting at risk the gains Ukraine has made but increasing the likelihood of Russian military victories.”

“Already, our packages of security assistance have become smaller and the deliveries of aid have become more limited,” she continued. “While our allies around the world have stepped up to do more, US support is critical and cannot be replicated by others.” 

Zelensky was counting on unlimited American taxpayer funding flooding into his government’s bank accounts for “as long as it takes” to defeat Russia.

But Russia is crushing Ukraine on the battlefield, despite billions of taxpayer dollars worth of weapons and aid the ruling class elites have already taken from Americans to give to Ukraine.

 

And Joe Biden just sent his Budget Director out to deliver the gut punch to Zelensky about funding for his war.

Kyiv’s military says it shot down 14 of 19 Russian cruise missiles targeting Ukraine on Friday. At least one person was killed and eight others were wounded, according to Reuters, which called the barrage “the first big salvo of missiles Russia has fired at targets, including the Ukrainian capital, in weeks.”

 

Unsurprisingly, Russia’s authoritarian leader Vladimir Putin announced on Friday that he’s running for president again in upcoming elections, which are scheduled for March 17. No one expects him to lose; another term could keep him in power until 2030, more than three decades after he first became prime minister in 1999.

 

Russian state TV celebrated Republican lawmakers for blocking the White House’s supplemental aid bill for Ukraine this week on Capitol Hill. “The downfall of Ukraine means the downfall of Biden!” one presenter shouted. “Two birds with one stone!” he said. 

 

“Well done, Republicans! They’re standing firm! That’s good for us,” said another. The Daily Beast has more.

And what Mike Pence just did to Donald Trump is simply horrific.

Former Vice President Mike Pence has been formally added to a list of witnesses called to testify against his former employer, former President Donald Trump, in his Georgia election meddling prosecution, it was revealed Wednesday.

According to CNN, Pence was one of 150 names on a list provided by Fulton County prosecutors, who cited various sources familiar with the materials, which are still under seal.

The former vice president, who just pulled out of the 2024 Republican presidential race, has previously stated his willingness to testify — and has been the most vociferous former Trump loyalist to dismiss his allegations that voter fraud lost him re-election.

 

“Despite what the former president and his allies have said for more than two and a half years and continue to insist… the Georgia election was not stolen, and I had no right to overturn the election on Jan. 6,” Pence said in August, following Trump’s 13-count indictment.

That same month, Pence told CNN, “I have no plans to testify, but look, we’ll always comply with the law.”

Trump is accused of breaching Georgia’s anti-racketeering statute, conspiracy, filing fraudulent paperwork, making misleading statements, and requesting that a public official violate their oath of office in order for him to continue in power even if he loses the 2020 presidential election.

 

The Republican contender for 2024 has pled not guilty to all allegations.

On Friday, Trump’s main counsel in a federal election meddling case, Steve Sadow, said the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office might try to call Pence as a witness.

Sadow made the disclosure while attempting to gain access to papers and materials held by special counsel Jack Smith that could be pertinent to the state case.

In court, Sadow contended that Trump’s federal lawsuit is mainly “a mirror case” to his Fulton County case, and that he consequently requires a list of evidence from that case.

“There is no doubt that the special counsel’s office…has relevant and material information that deals with the allegations in this case,” the attorney said, specifically referencing notes Pence took after the 2020 presidential election.

 

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee agreed that there was a “great deal” of overlap between the two cases and suggested that Georgia prosecutors contact Smith to coordinate discovery.

Meanwhile, District Attorney Fani Willis has urged that the former president and his surviving co-defendants be tried on August 5.

The proposed start date is exactly three months before the 2024 presidential election, a period during which Trump would almost certainly be on the campaign trail if he were the Republican nominee.

“This proposed trial date balances potential delays from Defendant Trump’s other criminal trials in sister sovereigns and the other Defendants’ constitutional speedy trial rights,” Willis wrote in a Friday filing to Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee.

Sure, it has nothing to do with handicapping Trump, right?

Biden Administration Scrambling to Cut Ties with CAIR:

The fallout from the horrific attack by Hamas against Israel continues for this administration and the Democrat Party.

CAIR co-founder and national executive director Nihad Awad made some rather shocking comments about the attack, which has led to the White House scrambling to sever ties between the director and the organization with this administration and the Democrat Party.

Statement by Nihad Awad

During the 16th Annual Convention for Palestine in Chicago on Nov. 24, Awad made comments that turned quite a few heads.

While speaking during the event, Awad stated:

"The people of Gaza only decided to break the siege, the walls of the concentration camp on Oct. 7. And yes, I was happy to see people breaking the siege and throwing down the shackles of their own land and walk free into their land that they were not allowed to walk in.

"And yes, the people of Gaza have the right to self-defense, have the right to defend themselves. And yes, Israel, as an occupying power, does not have that right to self-defense."



Awad claims his speech was taken "out of context and spliced" to create the video for a "false meaning" of his words. He added:

"What I actually said while discussing international law: Ukrainians, Palestinians and other occupied people have the right to defend themselves and escape occupation by just and legal means, but targeting civilians is never an acceptable means of doing so, which is why I have again and again condemned the violence against Israeli civilians on Oct. 7 and past Hamas attacks on Israeli civilians, including suicide bombings, all the way back to the 1990s—just as I have condemned the decades of violence against Palestinian civilians."

Keep in mind that we have several sitting members of Congress who regularly appear at CAIR functions, are supported by CAIR, and have helped raise funds for this organization.

This was also an organization the Trump administration wanted designated as a terrorist organization.

White House Fallout

The White House immediately scrambled trying to do damage control after being linked to the organization via a publicly listed pledge to fight antisemitism.

White House spokesperson Andrew Bates stated:

"The horrific, brutal terrorist attacks committed by Hamas on October 7th were, as President Biden said, 'abhorrent' and represent 'unadulterated evil.' October 7th was the deadliest day for Jewish people since the Holocaust. The atrocities of that day shock the conscience, which is why we can never forget the pain Hamas has caused for so many innocent people.

"There are families who are in agony mourning loves ones, and there are also families in agony as they do everything in their power to free loved ones being held hostage. Every leader has a responsibility to call out Antisemitism wherever it rears its ugly head."

Analysis

This is a significant problem for the White House and Democrats, especially those who have openly affiliated themselves with this organization.

If you recall, this is the same group where Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) made her ill-fated "some people did some things" comments regarding the 9/11 attacks against this country.

These people hate Israel, and the truth is finally coming out, yet this is an organization that the Democrat Party has embraced.

They were warned about CAIR for years, but they called the criticism of CAIR Islamophobic rhetoric.

It has taken some time, but CAIR has shown its true colors. The next step would be to attach the terror-supporting label to the group and ban them from even having a presence in this country.

Ireland’s Leaders are inviting Disaster:

he Ireland of today is very different to the Ireland of yesteryears. Irish eyes are not smiling, and for good reason. Today, my homeland is a horrific place to live: riots on the streets, vehicles ablaze, innocent children being stabbed, and women being raped and murdered.

Crime statistics released earlier this year by the Garda Síochána, Ireland’s national police force, paint a rather troubling picture. Since 2019, serious criminal offenses, including murder, rape, and sexual assaults, have skyrocketed. As the statistics show, in the space of four years, reports of rape have increased by 13 percent. Moreover, over the past 12 years, the number of sex crimes have increased by a whopping 75 percent. Last year, 44 cases of murder or manslaughter were recorded. In 2021, 25 cases were recorded. That’s a significant jump.

What’s going on?

Although Leo Varadkar, Ireland’s Taoiseach (Prime Minister) has pleaded with citizens not to associate mass migration with crime, it’s difficult not to. According to the Irish Prison Service’s most recent report, over 20 percent of individuals incarcerated last year were not of Irish nationality. This shouldn’t come as a surprise. Seventeen percent of the population (1 in 6 people) was born outside of the country.

In the city of Galway, not far from where I was raised, Muhammad is the most popular name for new baby boys, a far cry from more traditional names like Ciaran, Sean, and Michael.

Interestingly, in 2019, the year violent crime started to spike, the number of people leaving Ireland surpassed the number of people returning. In 2022, as a result of an influx of foreigners arriving, the population of Ireland reached an all-time peak of 5.1 million. In recent times, the Irish government has provided refuge to at least 75,000 individuals fleeing the conflict in Ukraine.

The influx of this many Ukrainians is somewhat understandable. Ukraine was, after all, invaded.

But why so many people from Algeria?

 

As Gript’s Matt Treacy recently highlighted, there is a disproportionately high number of Algerians residing in Ireland compared to other E.U. countries. In fact, in 2022, more Algerians applied for asylum in Ireland than in any other country worldwide, without any clear justification for this trend. Treacy’s decision to focus on Algerians came shortly after a man of Algerian descent stabbed three children and a woman outside a school in central Dublin. One of his victims, a young girl, aged five, sustained severe injuries to the chest.

The attacker had successfully appealed a deportation order and was granted Irish citizenship, despite being arrested for another stabbing incident earlier this year and reportedly not being employed during his two-decade stay in the country. As of November 19, added Treacy, over 3,000 Algerian nationals were being accommodated by International Protections Accommodation Services (IPAS).

 

My interest here is not to pick on Algerians specifically; it’s to shine a light on the incompetence of Ireland’s leaders, who have chosen to embrace mass third-world immigration to a tiny island republic with no strong history of welcoming immigrants.

Shortly after the stabbings, the city of Dublin experienced severe riots, the worst in recent history. Close to 50 individuals were apprehended, and numerous others sustained injuries. Flames engulfed a number of buses and at least 11 police cars, leaving them in ruins. Rioters burned and looted numerous shops and threatened to burn down a migrant residence hotel.

 

Although such behavior shouldn’t be condoned, the frustration is understandable. Ireland is a beautiful place, full of great people—but it is being ruled by imbeciles. Moreover, the needless stabbings came shortly after another foreign-born criminal, Jozef Puska, was found guilty of killing Aishling Murphy, a 23-year-old teacher and musician who was tragically attacked while jogging in broad daylight. This shocking case rocked the country. After being stabbed at least 11 times in the neck, Puska left Murphy to perish in a nearby ditch.

The people of Ireland are fed up. They have had enough. But those who wish to speak out risk being met with the full force of the law. Varadkar and his colleagues are working on a series of “hate speech” laws that will radically transform a country once renowned for its freedom of speech. The laws will criminalize the “offense of preparing or possessing material likely to incite violence or hatred against persons on account of their protected characteristics.” This means that having the wrong kind of meme saved on your phone’s photo roll could subject you to criminal penalties.

 

Varadkar’s right-hand man, Tanaiste Micheál Martin, has promised that the hate speech laws will be implemented before the Christmas holiday. If signed to effect, the country may very well become a totalitarian state, where statements once considered routine could land a person in prison. 

A place once known for its céad míle fáiltes, craic, and its ceol (a hundred thousand welcomes, fun, and music) is morphing into something truly monstrous. The Irish people are still, by and large, a great bunch. However, they are being governed by elites who have little, if any, interest in protecting them from the very real—and very new—threats that they currently face.

The Four Horsemen:

In the Revelation chapter five there is a sealed scroll which is the title deed to the earth.  There is a search for one worthy to open the seals.  Of course, the only One worthy is the Lord Jesus.  The next chapter describes the opening of the Seven Seals.  The first four seals produce what has become known as the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.




 These horsemen are riding a white horse, a red horse, a black horse and a pale horse.  I have often wondered what color is a pale horse.  Recently, there was comment floating around the Internet about the pale horse – and it was true!

 

The writer, whose name I do not know, noted that the Greek word translated as “pale” is chloros (Strong’s G5515) which means green.  I suppose the translators could not conceive of a green horse, so they amended the meaning to pale.  But the most original document we have, the Textus Receptus says green.

 

So, the four horses are white, red, black and green.  The Internet writer then pointed out an interesting fact.  Almost every national flag of Arab countries is composed of four colors; white, red, black and green.



We know that there will be Believers who will reign with the Lord Jesus for one-thousand years because they were beheaded for their witness of Jesus (Revelation 20:4).  (Beheading is the legal method of capital punishment in several Arab/Muslim nations.)
