Maria Bartiromo joined FBN from rival CNBC in 2014.
In 1995 while still with CNBC, she became the first journalist to report live daily from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. Prior to working for CNBC, Bartiromo was a producer, writer and assignment editor with CNN Business.
Bartiromo made the move from CNBC to Fox as she felt it was time for a change in cable news, and it seems she knew what she was talking about.

In addition to her FBN show, the New York native hosts “Sunday Morning Futures” on the Fox News Channel.
Former President Donald Trump has been a regular guest on Bartiromo’s program, and she speaks favorably of him, which has garnered criticism for the Fox personality from liberal media outlets like The Washington Post and CNN.
On Tuesday’s “Mornings with Maria,” Bartiromo chastised the Biden White House for trying to blame high oil prices on price gauging rather than supply and demand.
She noted that President Joe Biden depleted the strategic petroleum reserve in a bid to bring gas prices down, but now they are going back up and the reserve is at “dangerously low levels.”
“I thought this was supposed to be for crises and emergencies,” Bartiromo said.
She also dinged the Biden administration for keeping the COVID-19 vaccine mandate in place for the military even though the president recently stated that the pandemic is over.
Members of the military are being punished, including getting kicked out of service, for not complying. Bartiromo questioned the policy, pointing out that the Army missed its recruiting goal this year by 25 percent, the worst result in nearly 50 years.
Her guest, GOP Rep. Warren Davidson of Ohio, agreed. The West Point graduate relayed that his number of applicants for a nomination to a military service academy is down over 20 percent.
“People don’t want to go join a woke military,” Davidson said. “They don’t want to join and serve for a commander in chief that somehow wants to fundamentally remake America and have the military focused on everything but its core mission.”

Fox Business Network’s “Mornings with Maria” topped pre-market opening coverage during the third quarter, substantially gaining viewers.
The program, which is hosted by Maria Bartiromo and airs from 6 to 9 a.m. ET on weekdays, saw a 36 percent jump in the key 25 to 54 age demographic, according to a Fox news release published last week.
The show was up 24 percent in total viewers, putting Maria in the #1 slot with the 25 to 54 demographics.
“Mornings with Maria” topped CNBC’s “Squawk Box” for the second consecutive quarter.
In contrast to an assumed powerhouse, Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace on CNN at 7pm is off to a slow start.
FBN’s “Kudlow” — hosted by former Trump White House top economic adviser Larry Kudlow — is the network’s most popular program, airing at 4 p.m. ET weekdays and averaging 322,000 viewers.
The network overall saw double-digit audience growth year-over-year and outpaced CNBC in business day viewers for the second straight quarter, averaging 227,000 tuning in, Western Journal reports.
Other FBN business day shows include “Varney & Co.” (9 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET), “Cavuto: Coast to Coast” (12 to 2 p.m. ET), “Making Money with Charles Payne” (2 to 3 p.m. ET) and “The Claman Countdown” (3 to 4 p.m. ET).
Fox News Channel scored 94 of the Top 100 cable telecasts in August. The once “upstart” channel is reigning in ratings.
Tucker Carlson Tonight continues to be the king as the top-rated program in its time slot in all categories, averaging over 3.3 million viewers, with 551,000 in the 25-54 demographic as well as 348,000 in the 18-49 category.

Peter Doocy bulldozes through Jean-Pierre spin after gas prices start to climb again:
Fox News journalist Peter Doocy bulldozed through the Biden administration's narratives on gas prices during the media briefing with White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
President Joe Biden (D) had declared victory on lowering gas prices months ago but has grown quieter after a recent surge in pricing again.
"You said the president was responsible for gas prices coming down. Is the president responsible for gas prices going up?" Doocy asked on Tuesday.
"So, it's a lot more nuanced than that, right?" Jean-Pierre responded.
"Peter, you know this. There have been global challenges that we have all have dealt with, when I say 'all' I mean other countries, as well, have dealt with, since the pandemic, there's been pandemic and there's been [Russian Federation President Vladimir] Putin's war," she continued.
"And Putin's war has increased gas prices at the pump. We have seen that over the past several months," Jean-Pierre added. "And what the president has been able to do, he took some historic steps, when you think about the strategic petroleum reserve, and making sure that he, we were able to do everything that we can to bring that cost down for American families, give them a little bit more of a breathing room."
Doocy went on to point out that consumers in some areas of the country were paying up to $6.41 a gallon for gas.
"Who can afford that?" he asked.
"And we understand that!" Jean-Pierre responded. "That's why the president works so hard the past several months to make sure he did everything we can to bring gas prices down!"
Jean-Pierre went on to keep praising Biden for the "historic actions" he took to lower gas prices despite the recent increases.
The American Automobile Association calculated that the national average for a gallon of gas was $3.80. Prices hit a high of about $5.01 per gallon in June but have fallen for several months before reversing course.
Despite the drop, Americans are still paying about $1.50 more, or 60% more, than they did when Biden was inaugurated in January 2021. [The BLAZE Media]

And when Hurricane Ian wreaked havoc on Florida last week, Democrats jumped at the opportunity to use the crisis as a way to attack DeSantis.
On Monday, Ron DeSantis appeared on Sean Hannity’s program on Fox News Channel to give an update on the efforts to recover from Hurricane Ian’s destruction.
DeSantis began by letting viewers know that Floridians “are so thankful for all the outpouring of support from everybody that is helping the state.”
After discussing some of the efforts underway to restore power and rebuild roads and bridges destroyed by the storm, Hannity asked DeSantis to respond to Kamala Harris’ claim that FEMA disaster funds would favor low-income and minority groups.
“It is our lowest income communities and our communities of color that are most impacted by these extreme conditions and impacted by issues that are not of their own making,” Harris said. “And so, we have to address this in a way that is about giving resources based on equity, understanding that we fight for equality, but we also need to fight for equity, understanding not everyone starts out at the same place.”
“And if we want people to be in an equal place, sometimes we have to take into account those disparities and do that work,” she added.
Hannity read off a transcript of Harris’ quote and asked DeSantis for his reaction to it.
“I think she is trying to play identity politics with a storm, and a natural disaster,” DeSantis replied. “I think it’s ridiculous,” he continued, before adding “and honestly, we had the FEMA administrator in Florida with us, and she threw cold water on that, so that is not going to happen.”
DeSantis then ripped Kamala Harris and the Democrats for trying to “politicize every single tragedy in this country.”
“You don’t have to politicize every single tragedy in this country,” DeSantis continued. “And I think people – I tell you, in Florida – are really sick of the nonsense.”
DeSantis told Hannity that the Democrats’ attempt to politicize the hurricane will not work because Floridians are sick and tired of identity politics and leftists always making everything about race and gender.
He said people in Florida are only concerned with helping others “get back on their feet and get moving forward again.”
“They just want people to be helped, they want everyone to band together, they want us to get these communities back on our feet,” DeSantis said. “So, that’s what we’re doing in Florida.”
DeSantis concluded by pointing out to Democrats that nature doesn’t discriminate against people based on race, gender, income levels, or societal status.
“And Sean, it’s also, the impacts spanned all demographics, all income levels,” DeSantis said about the damage inflicted by the storm. “Sanibel has some very wealthy people. They also have blue collar people. You have other communities, different races, different ethnicities. Who cares? We just want to make sure people have a chance to get back on their feet and get moving forward again,” DeSantis concluded.
Democrats and the left-wing media are trying their best to politicize Hurricane Ian’s destruction in an effort to inflict damageon Ron DeSantis.
But DeSantis is a true leader.

Trump Drops Massive News After Latest Development from Durham Probe:
President Donald J. Trump is shaking things up by predicting that recent court filings- targeting Hillary R. Clinton and her 2016 Presidential campaign by Special Counsel John Durham are “just the beginning” of what’s to come from an extremely long and somewhat mysterious investigation and series of legal actions.
CNN reported in September, explaining the battleground:
“Special counsel, John Durham’s office, is in the final stages of its closely watched investigation into potential criminal misconduct during the Trump-Russia probe, and his team is finishing up its written report, according to multiple people briefed on the matter.
The scheduled upcoming trial, against a Russian expat who was a primary source of information for the infamous Trump-Russia dossier, is set to begin next month in Alexandria, Virginia. But four weeks before trial, Durham’s case suffered a significant blow, with prosecutors acknowledging in recent court filings that they can’t convince a critical witness to return to the US to testify.”
Trump’s recent comments signal that he is feeling positive about what is about to come out, and he is preparing people that there is more to come:
“Trump reacted to reports that Durham said in a court filing that lawyers for the Clinton campaign paid a tech company to “infiltrate” servers belonging to Trump Tower and the Trump White House in an effort to establish a “narrative” linking Trump to Russia,” Martin Walsh reported for Conservative Brief.
“It looks like this is just the beginning, because, if you read the filing and have any understanding of what took place, and I called this a long time ago, you’re going to see a lot of other things happening, having to do with what, really, just is a continuation of the crime of the century,” Trump told Fox News. “This is such a big event, nobody’s seen anything like this.”
“Who would think a thing like this is even possible?” Trump said. “Durham is also coming up with things far bigger than anybody thought possible—Nobody ever thought a thing like this would be even discussed, let alone an act like this committed.”
Walsh’s report went on:
According to the special counsel’s filing, he revealed his investigation thus far has found inauthentic“user-generated” data on devices, adding that the CIA said the data that purportedly showed links between the former president and Russian banks “was not technically plausible,” “did not withstand technical scrutiny,” “conflicted with [itself],” and was “user-created and not machine/tool generated.”
“For example,” wrote Durham, “while the FBI did not reach an ultimate conclusion regarding the data’s accuracy or whether it might have been in whole or in part genuine, spoofed, altered, or fabricated, Agency-2 concluded in early 2017 that the Russian Bank-1 data and Russian Phone Provider-1 data was not ‘technically plausible,’ did not ‘withstand technical scrutiny,’ ‘contained gaps,’ ‘conflicted with [itself],’ and was ‘user-created and not machine/tool generated.’ The Special Counsel’s Office has not reached a definitive conclusion in this regard.” [Populist Press]
