That is more than enough to get my attention. I reread. It keeps saying the same thing:

What to do? The answer is obvious. Make a comment:

DOES THIS MEAN WHAT IT SAYS?? WHAT ARE, IN THAT CASE THOSE 2 SUBSECTIONS THAT THIS SUNSET PROVISION IS SUBJECT TO?

Soon there is another comment, letting me know that: “the subject was discussed at length online about a year ago, but that was by a relatively small, isolated community.”

Since the bill passed into law in 1991, presumably it would have been the Mulroney government that was responsible for the Act and, specifically, section 21 (assuming it wasn’t an addendum). The Act might, of course, have been discussed in other forums and by other groups of people that I am unaware of, but it’s doubtful that that occurred very often. So, apart from the few in government, law, banking, and finance that would deal with that sort of legislation it's unlikely that there are very many who have any clue what’s coming or what this means—quite likely that all our “good days” are behind us. (Remember to keep one bullet for yourself.)

I believe this information deserves the attention of more than a relatively small isolated community.

Kelly said Walz – who likes to tell J.D. Vance and Donald Trump to “mind their own damn business” – supported allowing judges to intervene in family matters where parents reject attempts to allow their children to undergo transgender surgeries.

A recent study indicates that up to 2.7 million non-citizens could potentially vote in the 2024 U.S. elections, sparking concerns about whether the upcoming results will truly reflect the will of American citizens, the only group legally permitted to vote in federal elections.

 

According to Just Facts, a nonprofit research organization, “about 10% to 27% of non-citizen adults in the U.S. are now illegally registered to vote,” as revealed in the study.

The U.S. Census recorded over 19 million adult non-citizens residing in the U.S. in 2022, which the study suggests translates to about two to five million of them being unlawfully registered. The study emphasizes that this could influence significant election outcomes, including those for congressional seats and even the presidency.

 

A prior study conducted in 2014 found that 81% of non-citizens who voted in the 2008 election cast their ballots for Democrats, a fact that continues to fuel debates about the potential political impact of non-citizen voting.

Concerns about election fraud have been on the rise since the 2020 election, which saw an unprecedented 70% of votes cast by mail or through early voting. With limited exit polling for most of these votes, questions have arisen about how fraud, if it exists, could be detected in such a system.

 

James Agresti, the lead author of the Just Facts study, highlighted how easy it is for non-citizens to register to vote, telling The Washington Stand: “In no state in the nation are they required to provide proof of U.S. citizenship in order to register to vote. And if you look at the federal voter registration form, it says you can submit all different forms of ID to register. That could be a Social Security number, it could be a driver’s license number, or it could just be a utility bill. I mean, these are things that anyone can get by living here. They do not prove you’re a U.S. citizen.”

 

Agresti went on to point out that many non-citizens, particularly those who are undocumented, have obtained Social Security numbers fraudulently. The Social Security Administration itself estimates that about 2.5 million non-citizens have obtained such numbers by either using fake birth certificates or stealing others’ identities, according to Agresti.

Hans von Spakovsky, the manager of the Election Law Reform Initiative at The Heritage Foundation, referenced the Just Facts study during a congressional testimony in May, reinforcing the study’s conclusions.

 

“This new study not only affirms the conclusions of the 2014 report but, based on an analysis of more recent data, estimates that 10 to 27% of all aliens currently in the U.S. are registered to vote and that 5 to 13% of them will illegally vote in the 2024 presidential and congressional elections,” he said.

 

Kerri Toloczko, executive director of the Election Integrity Network, suggested that the percentage of non-citizens voting today is likely even higher than when last calculated.

“A 2014 academic journal found that 6.4% of noncitizens voted in 2008,” Toloczko stated. “There are about 24 million non-citizens in the U.S. right now. If they voted only at the same rate of 6.4% this year as they did in 2008, they would account for 1.5 million votes.”

 

Toloczko warned that the actual number might be significantly higher, given the increased activity at state DMVs and efforts by voter registration activists. “We could be looking at over two million unlawful noncitizen votes,” she added.

However, these claims have faced scrutiny from other experts and fact-checkers.

 

The Washington Post and think tanks like the Cato Institute have questioned the validity of these studies. Cato, for instance, has published articles claiming that the number of non-citizens voting in U.S. elections is closer to “zero.” The organization argued that “zero” functions more as a rounded number and not an absolute claim that no non-citizens voted in 2008, simply suggesting that the actual percentage is far smaller than what the study implies.

 

As the 2024 presidential election approaches, illegal immigration has become a central issue. Former President Donald Trump has vowed to secure the southern border and deport undocumented individuals, criticizing the current administration for what he describes as lax border policies that expose Americans to risk and harm the workforce.

 

His opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, has historically taken a more lenient stance on immigration, at one point suggesting that entering the U.S. illegally should not be considered a crime. However, her current campaign asserts that Harris supports strong border security, even using images of Trump’s border wall in campaign materials to convey a tougher stance.

More than two months later, there are still major questions about what happened, and now there’s been a second attempt against former President Donald Trump.

 

Investigations by the House, Senate, FBI, Secret Service, and the Homeland Security Inspector General have only revealed some of what happened that day. 

U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) revealed the reason that the investigations into Pennsylvania aren’t turning up information. 

 

He told Fox News host Jesse Watters that Biden’s Department of Homeland Security is pressuring the Secret Service not to comply with investigators. 

 

“One other thing, I’m told by people who are close to and have knowledge of the Secret Service’s own internal investigation that the Department of Homeland Security is leaning on the Secret Service not to comply with document requests to Congress,” Hawley said. 

 

The Biden-Harris administration is trying to bury this story during the election to help Vice President Kamala Harris. 

Hawley wasn’t the only Senator to confirm the lack of cooperation by the Secret Service. 

 

U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) told reporters after a closed-door meeting with acting Secret Service director Ronald Rowe that the public would be “shocked” and “appalled” by the security failures at the Pennsylvania rally.

 

“But I think they also ought to be appalled and astonished by the failure of the Department of Homeland Security to be more forthcoming, to be as candid and frank as it should be to them in terms of providing information,” Blumenthal told reporters. 

The stonewalling is bad when one of Trump’s biggest critics is speaking out.

The best source of information so far about the Pennsylvania rally has come from Secret Service whistleblowers. 

 

Hawley has had numerous whistleblowers reach out of his office after the assassination attempt on Trump. 

The Missouri lawmaker was told the female lead agent who was in charge of the security detail for the Pennsylvania rally failed training tests. 

 

“What I’m learning now is that the lead advance agent that day in Pennsylvania — this is the agent that was in charge of Trump’s entire trip in Pennsylvania — that this agent actually failed one or more of her training exams when she first joined the Secret Service,” Hawley said.

 

The Secret Service has a no-fail mission, and an agent who can’t pass a basic exam was entrusted with executing the security for the Pennsylvania rally. 

 

“The pattern that is emerging here from whistleblowers who come forward to me now over and over again is that the Trump rally was undermanned, it was understaffed, they did not have people who had experience on it,” Hawley explained. 

 

The Butler, Pennsylvania rally’s security was doomed from the start if an incompetent agent was entrusted to lead the operation.

A Pennsylvanian Democrat for life declared in a recent interview that he is abandoning the Party and supporting the outgoing president. According to Steve Rosenberg, there is only “one candidate” for Jewish voters, and he partially attributed his support to the extreme ideas he saw in his previous Party.

 

“If you’re a Jew, if you’re pro-Israel, there’s only one candidate here,” he said to Fox News host Dana Perino. “Actions speak louder than words. Kamala Harris has surrounded herself with some of the worst Jew haters that there are. The difference in the debate, in my opinion, was who was better prepared. She was way better prepared and even when it came to answering tough questions, instead of answering, she would just say things that she believes and they sounded real good, and that’s the sound bite,” Rogan said.

 

He contended that although Trump is skilled at “riffing” and capable of being “funny like a comedian,” his spontaneous manner is ineffective in a debating setting. Nevertheless, the former president probably won’t have to worry about this because he declared during the first debate that there wouldn’t be another one.

 

“Someone needs to tell him you’ve got these tiny little windows, and you should have all the words ready for those windows,” Rogan said.

Thousands of Canadians in various cities and towns across the country hit the streets Friday to protest the LGBT indoctrination of children in schools for the second annual Million Person March for Children.

 

(LifeSiteNews) –– Thousands of pro-family Canadians gathered simultaneously in multiple cities this morning, including the nation’s capital of Ottawa, for the second annual Million Person March to protest LGBT indoctrination in schools. 

The Million Person March began at 8:00 a.m. local time in well over 50 Canadian cities and towns, and reports show that attendance, especially in Ottawa, was very robust. 

There were some reports of counter-protesters at events, including the main event in Ottawa, which saw confrontation between left-wing, pro-LGBT activists and some march participants. There was another report of a “radical trans activists” trying to disrupt marchers in Ottawa.



However, overall, it appears most marches went peacefully.

CLC reported that at the Mississauga rally, speaker Ghada Melek pointed out that New Brunswick, Saskatchewan, and Alberta have all taken steps to protect students and parental rights.

Before the March in Ottawa, many speakers took to the stage to speak in defense of kids.  

“They [LGBT activists] are not the co-parents of your kids,” said CLC’s Director of Political Operations Jack Fonseca.  





“They have no right to imprint their personal beliefs on them. How dare they interfere with our children and demand ever more control over what our children learn and believe.”  

The event’s main organizer is Muslim pro-family activist Kamel El-Cheikh, whose organization Hands Off Our Kids, is putting on the event.  

Event organizers had hoped for a good turnout, encouraging Canadians to march in solidarity to “safeguard children” from “sexual indoctrination” and stand in favor of parental rights. 


“We refuse to stand by while the Government and School system allow sexually explicit content and gender ideology to be distributed in our classrooms,” said Hands Off Our Kids.

Hands Off Our Kids works together with other pro-family groups, including CLC, the Mama Bears, Veterans for Freedom, and, just recently, Canadians for Truth.  

The group’s main message, as per its website, is that “parents are responsible for their children’s moral and upbringing, not politicians and that is why it is our duty to speak up and have our voices heard when we say, ‘HANDS OFF OUR KIDS.’”   


Friday’s Million Person March was the group’s second major protest of the year. As reported by LifeSiteNews, this past June saw teachers and staff at an elementary school in Ottawa, Ontario, baffled when 591 out of 738 students were missing from the school’s LGBT “pride” flag raising ceremony.

Evoking the formation of the UN nearly eight decades ago, Trudeau called on delegates to remember why the multilateral organization was first formed.

 

“We did so with the aspiration to build something better, for today’s generation, yes, but also for many generations to come,” he said.


The summit is a moment of reckoning for the UN, as countries move away from established partnerships and splits into different coalitions and blocks. The Summit of the Future was first announced by UN Secretary-General António Guterres in 2021. Two years later he called for urgent action noting the world was falling behind on meeting its sustainable development goals (SDG’s).

 

“The SDG’s need a global rescue plan,” Guterres told the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development Goals last September. “Today, only 15 per cent of the targets are on track and many are going in reverse.”

The hope is the Summit of the Future will push countries to implement the existing commitments and agree to new challenges.

 

In his speech, Trudeau issued challenges to other countries while promoting policies his government have moved forward on. Citing the national child care program, school meal program and national dental care, Trudeau said they delivered on the promise of Canada for every generation.

 

“These choices reflect a commitment to investing in our people and in our future,” said Trudeau in his speech. “But also a commitment to tackle global problems we all share.”

 

While in New York, the prime minister will co-host a discussion with Haitian Prime Minister Garry Conille to help mobilize resources needed to addressed crises that country continues to deal with. A news release ahead of the trip says Canada will support solutions that are “Haitian-led and focus on the needs of the Haitian people.

 

Trudeau is also scheduled to host a high-level event with Ursula von der Leyen, the president of the European Commission, to promote action on climate change, carbon pricing and industrial decarbonization.

 

Trudeau is also expected to make an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” Monday night. American drag queen and personality RuPaul Charles is scheduled to be on the same episode.

 

The prime minister’s U.S. late night TV debut comes as his government faces a non-confidence motion vote on Wednesday in Ottawa. Trudeau is expected to be back in parliament for that vote as his minority government no longer has the protection of the supply and confidence agreement with the NDP.
