7 reasons why the investigation into the Toronto Police corruption scandal stinks
The investigation into Project South raises serious questions about transparency, accountability, and conflicts of interest within the Toronto Police Service.
The Toronto Police Service is embroiled in a shocking corruption scandal. Several Toronto officers were apparently reimagining themselves as gangsters, taking part in serious criminal acts ranging from fraud and theft to conspiracy to commit murder.
When news broke last week, Canadians were promised transparency. They were promised accountability. They were promised an unbiased investigation.
Yet what have we received so far? Censorship. A lack of transparency. A lack of accountability. And an investigation that is incestuous in nature.
Let’s begin at the beginning of this fiasco.
The investigation into certain members of the Toronto Police Service, dubbed Project South, began last summer and was carried out by the York Regional Police Service.
Much evidence was gathered, and at first blush, a lot of it seems damning. Initially, seven active Toronto Police officers and one retired officer were criminally charged. In recent days, additional officers allegedly connected to the scandal have been suspended.
But when news of this shocking corruption scandal broke, the way it played out was baffling.
Here are the top seven reasons why this investigation stinks:
1. First, why did York Regional Police Chief Jim MacSween reach out to his Toronto counterpart, Chief Myron Demkiw, in the first place? Given the scope of this scandal and given that some sources expect that as many as 30 more police officers might be charged in the days ahead, why tip off the chief? Forgive me for being impolite, but how do we even know Chief Demkiw isn’t involved? I think that by tipping off Demkiw, MacSween put him in a conflict of interest. And what was the logic process here? If police were tipped off that there was an ongoing theft being committed at a warehouse, would the investigator contact the general manager at the warehouse? What I’m getting at is, what if the warehouse’s GM was in on the racket too? Why should anyone assume Demkiw is squeaky clean?
2. Last week, York Regional Police staged a press conference at its Aurora headquarters. And who was at that presser? Chief Demkiw! What was he doing there? If I were Chief MacSween, I would’ve told Demkiw that he could do his own presser downtown. And why did the two chiefs spend so much time congratulating one another? That was weird.
3. Why were the chiefs wearing bulletproof vests as opposed to their ceremonial uniforms? Was this a PR optic suggesting the chiefs are rolling up their sleeves and getting down to business? Or given that some of the rogue cops out there were charged with conspiracy to commit murder, were the chiefs exercising an abundance of caution that there could be a sniper in the room? If that’s the case for the body armour, then that’s truly scary.
4. Speaking of that presser, the ongoing theme was all about accountability and transparency and restoring public trust. Really? So, what happened when Rebel News showed up? Well, we were essentially told that only government-funded and government-approved journalists were allowed to attend. In fact, not only were we given the bum’s rush, but we were actually threatened with arrest if we did not leave the premises!
5. As for the substance of the presser, truly notable was what wasn’t said by Chief Demkiw. He did not say, “the buck stops here.” He offered no mea culpas. Maybe Elton John is right: sorry seems to be the hardest word, because Demkiw did not say the S-word. He did not even say he was embarrassed – and he should feel embarrassed. But most importantly, Chief Demkiw did not tender his resignation. And there is much to justify Demkiw stepping down. Like the fact that Toronto is enduring its worst crimewave in the city’s history. For more than two years now, Demkiw has turned a blind eye to violent pro-Hamas thugs demonstrating in the streets while having his officers arrest peaceful counterdemonstrators and members of the independent press. And now comes the cherry on this sordid sundae: a massive corruption scandal that worsens with every passing day. Alas, apparently, the chief loves his $400,000 salary more than doing the right thing.
6. The solution presented to get to the bottom of things regarding this scandal was to call in Canada’s first Inspector of Policing, Ryan Teschner. Who's that? Surely this is not the same Ryan Teschner who was once a coworker of Myron Demkiw? Surely this is not the same Ryan Teschner who is allegedly a personal friend of Myron Demkiw? Surely this is not the same Ryan Teschner who attended the chief’s swearing-in ceremony a few years ago? The answer is yes, yes, and yes. Bottom line: Teschner is way too close to the chief to ensure impartiality.
7. Lastly, let us not forget that the Project South probe is or was all about investigating the Toronto Police Service. Several Toronto cops face criminal charges, or they’ve been suspended. Can someone kindly explain to me how it is that the Toronto Police Service somehow has a role in this investigation? This is far worse than a matter of cops investigating cops. This reeks of a cover-up. And the police say they are committed to restoring public trust? Good luck with that mandate…

Update on Feb. 10 City Hall Meeting
Subject: A Call for Accountability and Change
Hello everyone,
First, I want to thank everyone who attended the City Hall gallery on Tuesday, February 10. The room was packed with individuals concerned about the two motions being discussed, which I have reattached to this email.
While many showed up in support, not all were in agreement on the motions. To briefly summarize: the first motion proposed reallocating funding from London Cares, reducing funding from certain existing programs, and extending operating hours to address the extreme cold weather emergency we’ve been facing this winter. The motion also included a proposal to prioritize housing for individuals with lower acuity needs—such as those who have graduated from recovery programs. Additionally, it called for annual reviews of contracts with agencies serving the needy and a push for quarterly financial reports to ensure transparency on how our tax dollars are spent.
The second motion sought to change the temperature thresholds for when warming centers would be opened.
As I state in my video summation - the link is at the top of this letter - I believe both motions should be passed. However, in my view, they are far too little, too late. Given that this City Council has been aware of these issues for years, this response reveals a troubling lack of urgency and competence in addressing the crisis.
As a voluntary outreach worker for the past five years, I’ve witnessed firsthand the failures of the City Council in tackling these pressing issues. Despite increased tax dollars being allocated, we are seeing little progress and no sustainable solutions. What’s more frustrating is that it’s become clear that it’s not our elected officials making the decisions—it’s the agencies, activists, and city bureaucrats who have effectively co-opted our tax dollars to continue running flawed programs that perpetuate their own existence rather than solving the root causes.
With the city receiving substantial funding—$44 million annually from federal and provincial sources, a $25 million private donation, $320 million in reserve funds, and a 26% increase in property taxes—there is no reason we should be facing this dire situation, especially as it continues to worsen.
The City Council continues to mishandle public funds, from the bloated and misguided Bus Rapid Transit project to endless taxpayer money spent on consultants who fail to resolve even the most minor issues. Meanwhile, the $7 million spent on setting up temporary micro-shelters is a prime example of wasted resources. And, of course, councillors gave themselves a 36% salary increase.
It’s clear that the entire homelessness system needs an overhaul. We need permanent solutions like psychiatric and recovery facilities, as well as housing options to support those down on their luck and those who have successfully stabilized mental health and addiction issues.
The city has the money; it simply lacks the will to make meaningful change.
Ah, but here’s the problem: there is no will to change. The issues we face at the local level are part of a broader systemic failure seen in governments worldwide.
Please, keep calling, emailing, and visiting your politicians at all levels of government. Show up at City Hall meetings. Be prepared to demonstrate, as a united force.
Remind them: they are public servants, and they exist to serve the will of the people.

Educating the City Council
Looks like the London City Council is playing catch-up as they learn from their mistakes.
It's taken almost four years to realize that their decision to allow only one parking space per two units was a bad idea for much of central London, thanks to their simultaneous decision to foster high-density living.
It took about as long to decide what to do to reduce homelessness, despite getting $44 million annually from federal and provincial sources, and $25 million in private donations. How long will it take for them to find out if the recently approved plan is working well? There are no annual reviews, no quarterly financial reports.
How about the experiment to give free bus rides to some lucky students? No set criteria to evaluate results. And don't get us talking about the radical Bus Rapid Transit project. While other Canadian cities are reducing bus services, London is expanding them.
London is pressing ahead with more bicycle lanes. Someone please show them the Cato Institute study on increased accidents that come with the special lanes. It was published two years ago. Time to read it, councillors.
I DO thank this council for considering how to widen Wonderland Rd. It's about time they overcame the fears of the last council that more cars would use it and warm up the planet. (Scientists at the University of California discovered that greenhouse gases actually break down in the atmosphere as fast as we emit them.)
Finally, I am grateful for the efforts of Tanja Zientara, an experienced volunteer outreach worker with the homeless and representative of the Concerned Citizens Assoc of London. Tanja gave much valuable input to the city hall, even though it fell on many deaf ears in the Council and the media.

Since Trump first took office in 2016, the US has been functioning under temporary Martial Law with secret Arrests, tribunals, and Executions of high-ranking Deep State Globalist players.
Starting Tues. 3 Feb. 2026, President Trump ordered military raids to begin on underground tunnels and bunkers beneath Washington DC. Their purpose was to seize evidence of deep state corruption, child trafficking networks, and elite control over the US government.
The raids focused on facilities under the White House, Capitol Building, Treasury Department, and connected government buildings. Special operations teams from the US military entered these sites between 1:30 AM and 6:00 AM Eastern Time on February 3. They removed hard drives, paper files, video recordings, financial records, and physical items linked to high-level people in politics, finance, and media.
These underground spaces were first built in 1941 under President Franklin Roosevelt for protection during World War II. The tunnels connected the White House to nearby buildings so officials could move safely during attacks.
From the 1990s onward, people in power changed the purpose of these spaces. Under President Bill Clinton, parts became storage for records used in blackmail operations. Documents from the raids show connections to Jeffrey Epstein’s t*********g network, where powerful individuals recorded illegal acts with minors to control others.
The George W. Bush administration added surveillance equipment after 2001, claiming it was for national security, but the equipment tracked domestic political targets. During Barack Obama’s presidency, the tunnels linked to money movement systems that funnelled funds through offshore banks controlled by globalist families.
President Trump received detailed briefings on these facilities in 2017 during his first term. Military intelligence officers explained how the tunnels were used to hide evidence of election interference, financial crimes, and crimes against children. In 2018 and 2019, small teams mapped the tunnel layouts without public knowledge.
After President Trump returned to office in January 2025, he ordered full disclosure. By December 2025, reconnaissance units confirmed active use of the sites by people loyal to the previous administrations.
On January 20, 2026 President Trump signed executive orders giving military authority to enter federal properties in DC for national security reasons. February 3 raids found active server rooms running 24/7 with data on political blackmail, child procurement lists, and payments to compromised officials. Files name specific people: Nancy Pelosi received regular transfers from accounts tied to t*********g proceeds.
Chuck Schumer appears in coordination emails with Soros-funded groups. Bill Gates shows up in financial trails linked to vaccine programs used as cover for other operations. George Soros directed payments to organizers who disrupted investigations.
Similar underground facilities exist under Denver International Airport, where 1990s construction included eight levels below ground with rail systems. Dulce, New Mexico, has reported multi-level bases used for classified programs since the 1970s.
These sites share the same funding sources: black budget money totalling over $21 trillion missing from Pentagon and HUD accounts between 1998 and 2015, according to official audits released in 2017.
Military police detained 47 individuals found inside the facilities during the raids. These included private security contractors hired by elite families and several mid-level government employees.
President Trump directs every step of these operations personally. He meets daily with JAG officers and military commanders to review evidence.
The globalist network depends on secrecy in these underground spaces. They hold meetings away from cameras, store compromising material, and move assets without records. President Trump’s actions remove that protection. Every piece of evidence seized goes straight to secure military custody, away from compromised federal courts.
New details from the February 3 seizures include audio recordings of phone calls between DC officials and European bankers discussing how to block President Trump’s policies. Emails detail plans to fund protests against military actions in DC. Bank records show $1.2 billion moved through shell companies in 2024–2025 to support anti-Trump operations.
President Trump fights this corruption head-on because it attacks American children, American elections, and American sovereignty. Global elites used these hidden spaces to steal power from the people. He ends their operations with direct military force and full accountability. The Deep State loses its last hidden stronghold under President Trump’s command.

There were 75 Cabal banks said to have been seized, with their assets seized and accounts closed. These assets were moved to the quantum financial accounts to be returned to The People. All trust funds were also moved to the QFS account.
All personal bank accounts, savings and retirement accounts were safe and reflected in our new Quantum Financial accounts.
The only thing that is not reflected on the new financial system is investments and shares on the Stock Market. All that is gone! …so if you have an investment in the Stock Market, take it out… and then the NEW STOCK will be launched when the QFS indicates that it can operate.
Now we are in the final steps. The stock market will crash, and when it does, it will be the end of it.
Over time, money will no longer be a problem. Money literally just won’t be important because everyone will have enough to live an abundant life.

The only monies not reflected in individual Quantum Accounts were investments and shares on the Stock Market. All that will be gone! It is advised to get out of the Stock Market immediately.
