Athens Mayor Kelly Girtz tried to blame Donald Trump’s comments about illegal aliens when he was President for 26-year-old illegal alien Jose Ibarra allegedly murdering Riley when she went out for a run on Georgia’s campus.

“I want to say that we center our work here in Athens-Clarke County on people’s humanity and part of everybody’s humanity is the expectation of human dignity,” Girtz stammered.

“While 2019 was not that long ago, you might remember the dynamic we were living in in the late teens in this country where you had the president of the United States speak in the most vile terms about people who were foreign-born and you had that notion metastasizing —”

Protestors attending the press conference weren’t having any of it.

“Oh, please stop it!” one declared. 

“You are lawless, mayor!” another shouted at Girtz.

Three Chinese nationals were detained early on Wednesday morning by border police in Maine as they attempted to enter the state illegally from the US north of Fort Fairfield.

The US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency intercepted the three unidentified Chinese nationals as they were crossing the border, according to reporting from Maine Wire, a local outlet.

“After noticing suspicious activity along the border, vigilant Fort Fairfield Border Patrol agents arrested three Chinese nationals attempting to use the cover of darkness to illegally enter the United States,” read a CBP statement.

“A driver from New York, also a Chinese national who is already in immigration proceedings was also arrested and suspected of attempting to further the illegal entry,” it added.

 

A fourth Chinese national was detained as well on suspicion of helping the other people cross the border illegally.

This individual was driving at the time.

If the citizens belonged to the groups referred to as Asian Transnational Criminal Organizations by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), it was not immediately clear.

 

A DHS memo claims that these criminal groups operate drug operations across Maine’s northern border.

The operations’ profits are utilized to support drug trafficking, human smuggling, and other illegal activities.

The number of Chinese illegal immigrants entering the US under Joe Biden is still rising, and this arrest has highlighted the increase.

 

Since Biden assumed office in 2021, the number of these foreign nationals apprehended at the border with Mexico has increased by 4,000 percent.

Additionally, the DHS under Biden has loosened up the screening procedures for the influx of illegal immigrants into the nation.

There were only five interview questions left on the list of 40 for the vetting process.

Illegal crossings at the northern border increased by 550 percent in 2023 alone.

We cannot allow this madness to continue any longer.

 

America is under attack, and Joe Biden is doing nothing about it.

This occurs as apprehensions regarding Biden's cognitive acuity increase in anticipation of his 2024 presidential campaign.

 

Sanders unequivocally declined the proposal for Biden to undergo a cognitive assessment, contending that the establishment of such standards could potentially pave the way for an assortment of supplementary prerequisites that candidates ought to fulfill. "No. Sanders stated, "Once you enter that industry, we require all of these criteria because you cannot run for president until you meet them." Investigative Journalist Steve Baker, who was at the January 6 protest in the capacity of a reporter, was just perp-walked by the FBI.

Prior to his arrest, Baker wrote on Twitter, “The prosecutor informed my attorney that I am to arrive at the FBI field office wearing ‘shorts and sandals.’ They didn’t have to go this route, as we’ve been told that my charges are non-violent misdemeanors. My attorneys have also been assured by the gov. that this will be an ‘in and out’ affair and that they have ‘no intention’ of detaining me. But, rather than issuing a simple order to appear, they seem to feel the need to give me a dose of the personal humiliation treatment. We do not yet know the specific charges.


Technically … they are still ‘under seal’ until the warrant is served. All else is as yet unknown. By this weekend, I will officially be a misdemeanor domestic journo-terrorist. (Something like that.) And so it begins…”

Baker has been one of the journalists most instrumental in exposing many of the lies parroted about January 6.

For example, Baker spoke with Capitol Police Officers who contradicted the official narrative about how the building was overrun on January 6 and why the security failure was so acute.

The Blaze reported that Baker was charged with “Knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority; Disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds; Disorderly conduct in a capitol building; Parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a capitol building.”

Baker’s attorneys pointed out that the Department of Justice has known about Baker’s “crimes” for years, and did nothing.


They argued that “it is only now — after Steve has broken two major stories greatly embarrassing to the DOJ — that he is possibly being targeted for arrest and possibly felony prosecution. Any action taken to put him in handcuffs, hold him in custody, and have him transported to court by federal law enforcement will be nothing other than retaliation for his recent reporting.”

The Democrats and their media allies have screeched about the end of democracy and threats to the press, but they are eerily silent on the arrest of Baker for clearly political reasons.
