As you may have seen in the media, Lord Falconer and other assisted suicide campaigners are now lobbying MPs to try to use the Parliament Acts to bypass the House of Lords and force the assisted suicide Bill into law in the next Parliamentary session. Taking this route would be unprecedented and profoundly inappropriate.It would be the first time ever that the Parliament Acts were used for a Private Members' Bill – and polling published this week confirms that the public does not support this approach.


NOTE:

Parliament Acts allow certain types of legislation, including private members' bills, to become law without the consent of the House of Lords if they have been passed by the House of Commons in two successive sessions. This mechanism is typically used to ensure that important legislation can be enacted even if it faces opposition in the upper house.

TRUMP: 

Ted Cruz reportedly told donors that Newsmax CEO would back his 2028 bid

— Both camps deny it

Senator Ted Cruz told donors at a private fundraiser that Newsmax CEO Chris Ruddy would deploy his network to support a Cruz 2028 presidential campaign, according to an anonymous attendee who spoke to the Daily Mail. The claim — denied by both Cruz's office and Ruddy's team — lands just as Ruddy prepares to testify before Cruz's own Senate committee on media ownership.


The timing alone deserves attention.

Cruz chairs the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, which is holding a hearing Tuesday titled "We Interrupt This Program: Media Ownership and the Digital Age." Ruddy is a scheduled witness. The two men share a common opponent in the proposed Nexstar-Tegna merger — and if the anonymous donor's account is accurate, they may share quite a bit more.


The Claim and the Denials

The donor, described as someone who has contributed financially to Cruz, told the Daily Mail:

"I attended a Ted Cruz fundraiser late last year, and during the fundraiser Senator Cruz mentioned that Chris Ruddy would be using Newsmax to support his candidacy when and if he runs for the Republican primary, which is expected."


Cruz spokesperson Macarena Martinez fired back without hesitation:

"Once again, anonymous sources are putting words in Senator Cruz's mouth to further their own agendas. These are obvious lies, but the media once again shows that they are ready and eager to be spun up and used at every opportunity."

She added:


"Journalists used to know how to do their jobs. Those days are clearly far behind us."

Ruddy's team issued its own denial after publication, with a spokesperson saying the Newsmax CEO "denies the 'fake news' he ever promised Senator Cruz any endorsement, and neither he nor Newsmax has made any pledge of support for any candidate in 2028."

The anonymous donor, when presented with the denial, offered a parting shot:

"I guess they don't call him lying Ted for nothing."


So what we have is a single anonymous source against two on-the-record denials. That's worth noting before anyone builds a narrative castle on this foundation.


Why It Matters Anyway

Even if the specific claim is exaggerated or fabricated, the underlying dynamics are real — and they illuminate the early fault lines of what could be a bruising 2028 Republican primary.


Cruz has been making moves. Last week, in an episode of the Ruthless podcast first obtained by the Daily Mail, he rejected the idea of a Supreme Court appointment that President Trump had recently floated:

"My answer's not just no, it's hell no."


His reasoning was characteristically blunt:

"A principled federal judge stays out of political fights and stays out of policy fights. I want to be right in the middle of them."


That's not a man positioning himself for a lifetime of judicial temperament. That's a man who wants to run for president — again.


Then there's the leaked audio. Last month, recordings given to Axios by a Republican source captured Cruz offering a remarkably candid assessment of Vice President JD Vance:


"Tucker created JD. JD is Tucker's protégé, and they are one and the same."

That's not the kind of thing you say about someone you view as an ally. It's opposition research delivered in your own voice.


The Newsmax Problem

If Cruz were shopping for conservative media support, his options would be limited. A source described as close to the White House explained why Ruddy's backing — real or imagined — would matter:


"Because he's got no other conservative outlet. Everyone else is gonna be with JD."

That same source added a less flattering assessment of what Ruddy's support would actually be worth:


"Maybe the way he sees it is Ted's going to be in the primary for a month and then he'll be gone, so it's not really - it's not like he's making a long-term commitment."

The numbers bear out the skepticism. Newsmax pulls roughly one-sixth of Fox News Channel's audience. In January, Newsmax's highest-rated primetime show drew 345,000 viewers. Fox's comparable figure: 2.046 million. It's the difference between a megaphone and a bullhorn — both amplify, but one carries a lot further.


The Hearing Behind the Headline

Lost in the 2028 speculation is an actual policy fight worth watching. Tuesday's hearing centers on media ownership rules in the digital age, and the Nexstar-Tegna merger sits at the heart of it.


Tegna owns 64 local television stations across 51 U.S. markets. The FCC currently prohibits broadcasters from owning stations that reach more than 39 percent of American households. An enlarged Nexstar would reach 54.5 percent — blowing past the cap.


Ruddy filed a complaint with the FCC, arguing the deal violates national ownership caps. In a November Newsmax op-ed, he wrote:


"The answer to Big Tech consolidation is not to give left-wing TV broadcasters massive consolidation and power, too. We don't need anti-Trump media controlling everything."

He also took a direct shot at the administration's own FCC chairman, Brendan Carr:

"It shocks me that President Trump's FCC chairman has made his main priority giving the TV broadcasters more power and control, especially over local news."


President Trump, for his part, endorsed the merger on Truth Social Saturday:

"We need more competition against THE ENEMY, the Fake News National TV Networks. Letting Good Deals get done like Nexstar - Tegna will help knock out the Fake News because there will be more competition, and at a higher and more sophisticated level."

That puts Ruddy and Cruz on one side of a media consolidation fight and the President on the other — a notable split that makes the alleged backroom alliance all the more interesting, regardless of whether it's real.


It also places Ruddy on the same side of the merger issue as Elizabeth Warren, Maxwell Frost, and Summer Lee. Strange bedfellows don't begin to cover it.


Cruz's Broader Media Skepticism

Cruz has tangled with FCC Chairman Carr before — particularly over Carr's September move to go after ABC's broadcast license over comments made by Jimmy Kimmel. Cruz called it what he saw:


"Dangerous as hell."

"That's right out of Goodfellas."

His concern wasn't about defending ABC. It was about precedent:

"Going down this road, there will come a time when a Democrat wins again – wins the White House … they will silence us. They will use this power, and they will use it ruthlessly. And that is dangerous."


Cruz warned that if the government got into the business of policing what the media said, "that will end up bad for conservatives." It's a consistent libertarian-conservative position on media regulation, and it explains why he'd chair a hearing designed to scrutinize ownership consolidation rather than rubber-stamp it.


The 2028 Chessboard

Strip away the anonymous sourcing and the denials, and a clear picture still emerges. Ted Cruz is not going to the Supreme Court. He's not retiring to a podcast. He's running for president — or at minimum, keeping every door open and every relationship warm.

Whether Chris Ruddy promised anything is almost beside the point. The structural reality is that a Cruz campaign would need a media ecosystem, and the major conservative outlets are likely to coalesce around Vance. If Newsmax — even at one-sixth of Fox's audience — provides a platform, it's better than nothing.


Ruddy, meanwhile, told the Daily Mail he looks forward to Tuesday's hearing and "an open and frank discussion about the dangers of media consolidation in the television broadcast industry." He did not answer directly when asked about supporting Cruz's presidential bid.


The denials are on the record. The ambitions are obvious. And both men sit down on Tuesday in a Senate hearing room where their interests happen to align perfectly — on media ownership, at least.


Everything else is just 2028 positioning disguised as 2026 policy.

FBI RELEASES CHILLING PHOTOS IN GUTHRIE CASE

FBI investigators released shocking photos of a masked man they suspect is behind the kidnapping of Nancy Guthrie.The photos and video were taken from cameras around Guthrie’s property and retrieved with Google’s assistance. It’s a significant development in the case. Still, investigators have found no sign of Guthrie, nor have they identified a suspect.The Guthrie family, meanwhile, said they do not recognize the person in the photos and video.

A federal judge has blocked enforcement of a California law signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom that sought to prevent ICE agents from wearing masks.Judge Christina Snyder found that California’s “No Secret Police Act” discriminates against federal officers and violates the Constitution’s Supremacy Clause.ICE agents, of course, wear masks not to act as a “secret police,” but rather to protect their identities from left-wing agitators who might try to harm them or their families.

What's drawing Criminals to Canada?

Maybe because Russia, China and America have been cracking down on crime?  And Europe and Africa are too poor for ambitious gangsters?  There are over 4,000 organized crime syndicates now operating in Canada.  As if the growth of existing crime isn't bad enough, I just read last Tuesday's London Free Press and learned that outsiders are bringing new kinds of crime to Canada.

> "Raid a farm." Acting stupid, foreigners are asking farmers for help.  Meanwhile, accomplices sneak around back and steal from inside and outside.

Earlier this month, the shocking video of a man shooting up a Bramp­ton home while brandishing two pistols was the first time many had heard much about extortion rings.

Yet, in communities across Canada, especially those with a significant Indian immigrant population, extortion has been a rising concern for years now.


It's a story of people being threatened with violence, like the shooting, or arson to the business or home, if they don't pay up. While the shootings and other acts of violence are carried out by hired local thugs, the money is often wired to organized crime groups in India.

Peel Regional Police Chief Nish Durai­ap­pah has devoted resources to catching and prosecuting those involved, but they need federal help to root out the problem by tracing money transfers.


Bramp­ton Mayor Patrick Brown said this has been a growing concern for the entire Peel Region just west of Toronto, for the past three years. He has been asking the federal government for help for some time now.


In December, Brown wrote to Prime Minister Mark Carney and Public Safety Minister Gary Anadasan­garee ask­ing for help.


“Extortion driven by transnational criminal networks has increased at an alarming rate in Peel Region, with small businesses and vulnerable community members being disproportionately targeted through threats of violence, arson and intimidation,” Brown wrote. “The scale, sophistication, and cross-border nature of these crimes place them well beyond what municipal resources alone can sustainably address.”


Brown is right. As good as local police forces are, they need help dealing with what is a transnational organized crime problem. This isn't just a policing problem, though; there are also problems related to the court and immigration system that need to be addressed.


Last sum­mer when Peel Regional Police arrested 18 people in connection with an extortion ring related to the tow truck industry, nearly half of them were out on bail, parole or probation. We still don't know how many of them were non-citizens here on visas that should be revoked due to criminal activity, but given the request from Locke, you can be sure she has seen evidence that immigration is part of the problem.

Surrey is a major city with a population of over 700,000 people, and the problem of foreign crime gangs is so bad that the mayor wants a national state of emergency declared.


Time for Prime Min­is­ter Mark Car­ney's Lib­er­als in

Ottawa needs to wake up and fix this.

Judy Note: Recently, Trump’s Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and Kash Patel’s FBI raided one of many private islands – their investigation of criminal behaviour traced back to at least 60 US Senators, according to the spouse of JFK Jr., Carolyn Bessette Kennedy.


The Political and Global Elites arrested by the Global Military Alliance faced Military Tribunals and, if found guilty, the death penalty.


Evidently involved were over 40 shell companies spread across seven countries. Their operations included a massive money laundering of US Taxpayer dollars, thought to be done through real estate, biotech startups, media holdings and so-called philanthropic foundations.


The politicians used legal loopholes, NGO covers and private security contractors to shield operations.


In other, less important news, with the new gold/asset-backed Quantum financial system active online, major banks were closing across the Globe. For years, they have functioned on fiat currency. The two most powerful banks in America – Bank of America and JPMorgan Chase – were already freezing customer accounts.


It was strongly advised that you withdraw monies from your bank, keep some cash to use during the transition period and/or invest it in gold or silver until you can access your account on the new system.


Sources claimed major banking and financial institutions had long been preparing for a controlled fall of the current fiat dollar-based system to happen by Saturday, 31 Jan. Didn’t happen.


The Deep State Cabal was planning on controlling a financial reset where you had no choice but to join a digital non-asset-backed currency system where the Global Elites had complete control over The People.


The biggest concern of our present banking system was that we borrowers, including the government, have become servants to the lender. We no longer have sovereignty. The nation becomes addicted to the loans and therefore has been ruled by banks.


In 1871, the District of Columbia Organic Act altered the legal structure through which the United States operates. While the nation remained geographically intact, governance increasingly adopted corporate and commercial principles. Over time, this shift reframed citizenship from sovereign status toward administrative participation in a financial system governed by statutory law rather than Constitutional primacy.


In other words, the S***n Worshipping Cabal blackmailed Congress into passing laws on the use of Taxpayer Dollars. Doing so, they took Sovereignty powers guaranteed by the Constitution, away from The People and transferred that power of how that money could be used to the Global Elites' own pockets.


Since 1913, our Fractional Reserve Banking System has allowed banks to lend up to 10 to 12 times as much money as they actually have. It allows banks to consolidate the wealth of the nation and thus control the nation. Banks can no longer operate in the public interest.


The 1933 gold confiscation formalized this transformation. By removing gold from public hands and replacing it with fiat currency, real assets were exchanged for trust-based instruments managed by centralized institutions. Since then, purchasing power has steadily eroded while public dependency on credit has expanded


Then there is the Cabal’s ongoing crime that has never been addressed: Since changing the Constitution back in 1913, the privately owned by Banksters’ Federal Reserve and IRS collect our tax monies, send it to their privately owned UK Crown Bank of London, then on to the privately owned Vatican, then to their privately owned Central Banks across the Globe. About a month later, the US Tax monies are back at a privately owned New York Bank, where they charge us interest to use our own monies.


Congress has been continually blackmailed to keep the bankers in power. They allow taxpayer monies to be laundered out to privately owned non-government organizations (NGOs), with some of the monies laundered back into the pockets of the Congresspeople who passed the bills.


Under the Trump Administration, Congresspeople and Banksters who do this were headed to prison. The most powerful men in the World’s banks have already been arrested. Many will face firing squads at GITMO. Many already have.


With the changeover to the new financial system, in the coming days, you might want to watch for:

• Bank outages or limits on withdrawals

• Extreme stock market swings or temporary closures

• Communication or power interruptions labelled as routine tests

• Quiet legal or political actions against high-level figures

He donated his salary, fought the cabal, and they tried to bankrupt him for it. Now in his second term, the white hats are flipping the script – but back then?
