Morning Update:

Retired Canadian spies join call for public inquiry into Chinese election interference:

An organization representing retired Canadian spies has joined calls for a public inquiry into China’s foreign-interference operations in this country’s elections and expressed concern that further delay could end up scuttling one.

The Pillar Society, which represents retired Canadian Security Intelligence Service officers and former members of the RCMP Security Service, has also called for the inquiry to be given access to all cabinet documents and transcripts of discussions to determine if Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was ever informed of China’s attempts to meddle in the 2019 and 2021 elections.

Dan Stanton, a member of the Pillar Society’s board of directors, said there is frustration within the intelligence community because cabinet ministers and senior officials say they did not read secret and top-secret documents that outlined the extent of China’s interference in the elections.

Maui wildfire death toll rises to 55

At least 55 people died in the wildfire that tore through the island of Maui’s west side, according to county officials. The rising death toll makes it the deadliest U.S. wildfire since the 2018 Camp Fire in California, which killed at least 85 people and laid waste to the town of Paradise.

The Maui fire started Tuesday and was fuelled by a dry summer and strong winds from a passing hurricane, engulfing the town of Lahaina, a tourist destination that dates to the 1700s. The flames left some people with mere minutes to act and led some to flee into the ocean.

Canadians in Maui are being urged by Global Affairs Canada to think about whether they really need to be there and if not, to strongly consider leaving. It has issued an advisory telling Canadians to avoid non-essential travel to the island.

Doug Ford requests review of staffer’s conduct after Greenbelt report

Ontario Premier Doug Ford has asked the province’s Integrity Commissioner to review the conduct of the political staffer at the centre of the Greenbelt controversy.

Ryan Amato, chief of staff to Municipal Affairs and Housing Minister Steve Clark, was singled out by Auditor-General Bonnie Lysyk in her report that concluded that the removal of lands from the protected area last year “favoured certain developers.” Amato is said to have met with a small number of developers and controlled a secret, three-week process to choose the properties taken out of the Greenbelt last December.

The Progressive Conservative government has faced a political furor over its move to break its own repeated promises and redraw the boundaries of the province’s 800,000-hectare Greenbelt, which arcs around the Greater Toronto Area and was created in 2005 to preserve farmland and contain sprawl.

Federal judge sets hearing date on proposed protective order in Trump 2020 election case:

https://americandigest.com/federal-judge-sets-hearing-date-on-proposed-protective-order-in-trump-2020-election-case/?

As the battle over a proposed protective order continues to heat up between Special Counsel Jack Smith and attorneys for Donald Trump in the latest federal case initiated against the former president, the presiding judge in the matter has set a date for what could prove to be a critical hearing on the issue, as The Hill reports.

On Tuesday, Chutkan determined that a hearing on the proposed order – something Trump's team opposes – will take place Friday morning.

The order sought by Smith would control the manner in which evidence is handled in the case and would restrict Trump's ability to share information with the public during the process of discovery.

Smith made his request for the protective order last week, and though it may have been his intention to do so all along, it was a Truth Social posting from the former president that may have sped up his timeline, as The Hill noted separately.

The controversial post from Trump that may have triggered Smith's move said, “IF YOU GO AFTER ME, I'M COMING AFTER YOU!” words that were interpreted by some as overtly threatening.

Though Trump's camp denied any menacing intent, federal prosecutors have argued that the former president's history of making public comments on pending litigation require a comprehensive approach such as the requested protective order could provide.

Trump's team initially responded to Smith's request by seeking a three-day extension to the response deadline issued by Chutkan, as the Washington Examiner explained.

“Friday evening ultimatums, given by the government before even calling the defense counsel, are wholly unproductive and undermine the potential for party-driven resolutions,” Trump's lawyers argued. “Requiring a Monday response to a Friday evening motion likewise forecloses the possibility of agreement and would encourage such improper tactics by the government in the future.”

Chutkan was unpersuaded, however, and she denied the extension request and noted that Trump's team still had the ability to confer with prosecutors on the scope of any eventual protective order either before or after the response deadline.

Amid the legal wrangling over the issue, a Trump spokesperson took aim at Smith's efforts to hamper the former president's First Amendment rights, stating, “The Truth post cited is the definition of political speech and was in response to the RINO, China-loving dishonest special interest groups and super PACS, like the ones funded by the Koch brothers and the Club for No Growth,” the Examiner further noted.

Trump himself lamented the judge's decision to keep the process moving on Smith's request, writing on his social media platform, “No, I shouldn't have a protective order placed on me because it would impinge upon my right to FREE SPEECH.”

The Trump legal team, in its formal response to Smith's request, wrote, “In a trial about First Amendment rights, the government seeks to restrict First Amendment rights. Worse, it does so against its administration's primary political opponent, during an election season in which the administration, prominent party members, and media allies have campaigned on the indictment and proliferated its false allegations.”

Lawyers for the former president also claimed that Smith was, in essence, demanding that Chutkan “assume the role of censor and impose content-based regulation on President Trump's political speech that would forbid him from publicly discussing or disclosing all non-public documents produced by the government, including both purportedly sensitive materials, and non-sensitive, potentially exculpatory documents.”

With the aforementioned divergent viewpoints as the backdrop, Chutkan will hear arguments on the issue on Friday morning, and though Trump presence in the courtroom is not required, he has already made his position in the matter crystal clear.

Biden's labor adviser departs as nationwide strikes grow:

https://americandigest.com/bidens-labor-adviser-departs-as-nationwide-strikes-grow/?

Biden administration labor adviser Celeste Drake is leaving her role in Washington as nationwide strikes continue to grow.

Drake is reportedly taking a role as the Deputy Director-General of the International Labor Organization (ILO), based in Geneva, Switzerland.

The timing

"Drake's departure comes at a critical time for an administration dealing with a summer of labor unrest, with estimates from national labor unions showing more than 650,000 U.S. workers were on or threatened strikes in the first half of 2023," Reuters reported.

"Hollywood actors and writers are currently on strike, and auto worker unions last month warned they are prepared to do the same unless Detroit's Big Three automakers - General Motors (GM.N), Ford Motor (F.N) and Chrysler parent Stellantis (STLAM.MI) - agree to fair contracts. Workers at UPS (UPS.N) and its Teamsters union just signed a tentative labor deal," it added.

Labor struggles

"Drake led labor policy at the National Economic Council (NEC), along with Erika Dinkel-Smith, who has been promoted to senior labor adviser in the Office of Political Strategy. Drake was pivotal during the labor disputes between the UPS and Teamsters, which were resolved last month, as well as the deal to avert a rail strike that came together late last year," the Hill reported.

"She left her post as the White House has struggled to get its nominee for Labor secretary, Julie Su, through the Senate. Su’s nomination is largely at a standstill because she doesn’t have support from moderate Democrats to get confirmed," it added.

Part of Bidenomics

"Many Americans who are fed up with the state of the economy directly blame 'Bidenomics' for the current state of the country. And from what Reuters is reporting, Drake played an outsized role in creating parts of 'Bidenomics,'" IJR reported.

“She was involved deeply on some of the most consequential labor negotiations that we’ve seen from ports to railways and also in crafting policy around how to support workers,” said Brian Deese, former director of the White House’s National Economic Council.

The report comes as Hollywood strikes for both actors and writers continue to keep late-night shows shut down and new productions from moving forward.

Drake's replacement will also face the challenge of ending strikes like this week's L.A. city workers' strike that took place due to "unfair" labor practices.

The Biden administration needs a win when it comes to labor, hoping to secure a new adviser who can help as the president seeks a second term. [The American Digest]

Younger Americans turning on Biden, trending more conservative:

https://americandigest.com/younger-americans-turning-on-biden-trending-more-conservative/?

A new study shows that more 18-29-year-olds are turning against Democrats and are trending more conservative.

John Della Volpe, Director of Polling, Harvard Kennedy School’s Institute of Politics, shared the details of the study in an interview with the Hill.

The changes

“Nearly every sign that made me confident in historic levels of youth participation in 2018, 2020, and 2022 — is now flashing red,” Della Volpe wrote in his analysis of 2024.

“The ground is more fertile for voting when youth believe voting makes a tangible difference," he added.

Trending more conservative

"In annual surveys over the last three years, roughly one-quarter of high school seniors self-identified as conservative or 'very conservative' on the Monitoring the Future survey, a scholarly endeavor that dates to the 1970s. Only 13 percent of boys identified as liberal or very liberal in those years," a separate report noted about the Monitoring the Future survey.

"The figures represent a striking shift in the political views of boys. As recently as the late 2000s, liberal boys occasionally outnumbered conservatives. Back in the Carter era, both boys and girls leaned liberal," it added.

A big difference

"The University of Michigan survey shows that 12th grade boys are the most conservative they’ve ever been, while 12th grade girls are the most liberal," the Daily Caller observed.

"Boys were about twice as likely to identify as conservative than liberal, a recent trend to emerge in a survey tracking the political leanings of high schoolers since 1975," it added.

The mainstream media tends to suggest that the change is negative, blaming the shift on racism.

The move is a positive for conservatives in America who may find some hope that the next generation is growing more conservative after liberal extremes over the past 20 years on a variety of social issues, ranging from family and marriage to gender identity.

The latest study shows the nation's young people are still in need of more improvement in terms of conservative values but also reveals a better situation than mainstream media will often admit or prefer in the culture wars in America. [The American Digest]

Obama’s Secret Life Exposed:

Lies, Fraud, and Elite Power Trips Revealed!

Yeehaw, folks! Hold onto your hats because we have some juicy news about our former President, Barack Obama. This here interview in Tablet Mag with historian and biographer David Garrow is stirring up quite a commotion. Looks like Obama’s personal life before he became president is causing some waves, and boy, do we have some spicy revelations for y’all.

Now, before we get to the good stuff, let’s address the elephant in the room. Some folks are all in a tizzy about Obama allegedly admitting to having “homoerotic fantasies.” But hey, let’s not jump to conclusions and call him the “first gay president.” That wouldn’t be fair. We got bigger fish to fry here, folks!

According to Joel Pollak over at Breitbart News (the real news, if you ask me), the real story here is that Obama made up a whole bunch of stuff about himself. And that, my friends, includes that whole Birtherism fiasco. Remember when folks were questioning his birth certificate? Turns out Obama might have spun a yarn about his foreign origins to sound all fancy and sophisticated. Sneaky, sneaky, Mr. President.

But wait, there’s more! This interview also confirms some long-held conservative beliefs. Brace yourselves, folks. Obamacare? It’s a fraud. And Obama’s presidency? A failure, especially when it comes to foreign policy. Oh, and did I mention that Obama had some deep-seated resentment towards Israel? Yep, it’s all coming out now.

But here’s the real kicker. Obama is described in this interview as a “cold, empty person.” Ouch. That must sting. No wonder he couldn’t connect with hardworking Americans. And get this, he’s part of an elite group that punishes anyone who dares to disagree with them. Talk about a power trip.

Now, let’s rewind back to 2012 when Breitbart News uncovered a little gem. They found a promotional booklet from Obama’s literary agency that claimed he was “born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.” Say what now? Is this evidence that Obama’s been messing with the truth? I think so.

But wait, there’s one more bombshell. Brace yourselves, folks. One of Obama’s ex-girlfriends spilled the beans. Sheila Miyoshi Jager claims that the real reason for their breakup wasn’t about Obama identifying as a Black man. Nah, it was about an exhibit at a museum. Who would’ve thought? Here I was thinking it was just your ordinary relationship drama.

Now, here’s the kicker. This exhibit was causing some political drama in Chicago because of a fella named Steve Cokely. He was spouting off some wild accusations about Jewish doctors infecting Black babies with AIDS. Yikes. But Obama and Sheila visited this exhibit together? What was Obama thinking? It just goes to show where his loyalties lie.

So, there you have it, folks. The real story behind this Obama interview is a doozy. Obama made up a whole lot about himself, Obamacare is a sham, and his presidency was a failure. Let’s not forget his resentment towards Israel, his cold and empty personality, and his elite cohorts who silence dissent. And oh yeah, that whole Kenya thing. It’s time we peel back the facade and see Obama for who he truly is.

General Summary

Pertinent News:

On Wed. 9 Aug.the CIA executed Ecuador Presidential Candidate Fernando Villavicencio, while around the same time in Utah, the FBI killed 75 year old Craig Robertson at his home for speaking out against Joe Biden on Facebook.

The FBI SWAT Team raidon Robertson was much like the IRS SWAT Team raids on Ken and Barbie Cromar when the IRS took possession of their fully paid for home and threw away all their possessions even after they had proven in a federal tax court that they owed no monies to the IRS.

On the night of Memorial Day May 30, 2023, (A Satanic Holiday) 22 Delta Force Operatives interrupted an attempted Child Sacrifice in a Cache Valley Utah canyon. A baby was saved and 48 perpetrators were detained, among of whom was a local District Court Judge and the Cache County Sheriff. The County Sheriff was released without explanation. Why? Did he have protection from a higher up in the legal chain?

Former Utah County Attorney David Leavitt most certainly had help after Satanic Ritual Abuse charges were again about to be filed against him – Leavitt was allowed to leave town and was now residing in a castle overseas. Leavitt also helped organize the IRS SWAT Team raid against the Cromars. * BREAKING IRA REPORT: “Why did Homeland Security Protect David Leavitt?” « (cedarhillscitizens.org)

Did the Cache County Sheriff and Utah County Attorney David Leavitt have the same protection as did Ray Epps on Jan. 6? Epps made himself the center of the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol and even claimed that he orchestrated it. During the years since Epps has been hailed and protected by the media as the victim of a witch hunt – until now, three years later, when he was finally arrested (By the White Hats?).

Yet, Jacob Chansley who did nothing to create a Jan. 6 riot as Epps did, received a sentence of 41 months. Stewart Rhoads, the founder of Oath Keepers, was sentenced to 18 years for his alleged involvement in January 6. Yet, there was no video of him inciting anyone to action. But, there was said to be one video for Epps – except they found that all evidence of Jan. 6 had been destroyed when Trump subpoenaed for it.

“ We've got what seems like an actual insurrectionist on tape, but they don't want to talk about it and they definitely don't want you to talk about it or ask any questions” says Tucker Carlson:

None of this even compares to the horror loving parents went through when the Idaho Police kidnapped their Baby Cyrus for no justified legal or medical reason. DOJ Rips Baby From Loving Parents & Arrests Them Without Cause | Crime All-Stars | Before It's News (beforeitsnews.com)

Or, the recent death and destructionendured by Hawaii citizens from fires that were now believed deliberately set by the Deep State.

By the way, all this was not even mentioning the raids on and no-legal-reason-for-indictments filed against President Trump.

Do you think it’s about time to instigate Global Martial Law for the sake of us common people?
