God’s WORD for TODAY!

A friend loveth at all times, And a brother is born for adversity.

Proverbs 17:17 KJV

The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; And his kingdom ruleth over all.

Psalm 103:19 KJV

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

James 1:17 KJV

Our New School Dress Code shocks Christians

(or it should!):

At a minimum, students will be required to wear a top that covers the nipples and a bottom that covers the groin and buttocks. Both must be made from non-transparent fabric. The new code applies to students from kindergarten to Grade 12, as well as staff. It was developed with input from students.

Thames Valley high school student Malory Grevers, 16, thinks the change is “a good one” and “a positive step forward.

“It’s more reflective of what the students were wearing anyway,” she said. “The old dress code was geared unfairly toward the females.”

Students must stay away from wearing clothes from a culture that is not their own, according to the guidelines.

“Students sometimes, without intending to, wear something that is sacred to another culture that can be harmful or hurtful,” said Purveen Skinner, Thames Valley’s superintendent of student achievement. “Sometimes that happens at dress-up days at school. Or a student chooses to wear something they think is attractive or feel they like, but don’t understand the cultural and religious significance of those particular items.”

Skinner said the new guidelines were designed to address two issues, consistency and discrimination.

“We were hearing from students and families that the correct dress codes were really inconsistent and not enforced equally from school to school,” she said. [Patrick Bestall]

How to Escape the "Anti-Human" System and Live a Regenerative Life:

Here's why I don't like Librti Learn (the group we tried to join and teach their people about our projects). They are doing this at 11 am Sunday. No respect for church goers. Remember when I asked them about this? No reply.

The W.H.O. Travel Passport:

Well, here's some news that seems to be slipping under everyone's radar.

At the G20 summit where our president is busy tripping over stairs and falling asleep, global leaders have signed a declaration filled with globalist nonsense that would commit the countries there to all sorts of one-world policies.

Here's something I haven't seen covered anywhere:

G20 - BREAKING: leaders have just signed a declaration which states that vaccine passports will be adopted to “facilitate” all international travel This means any vaccination the WHO determines you should have. Changing your rights & freedoms forever. Silence from the media. [Patrick Bestall]

DON'T ASK OTTAWA TO HELP!

This is a perfect example of why my Church believes in subsidiarity (bottom-up, not top-down, help for the poor).

If you read the above article, you'll see that;

Infrastructure Canada spent $1.36 billion on reducing homelessness as part of the Reaching Home program between 2019 and 2021, and yet the audit found the department didn’t know whether homelessness increased or decreased during that time frame.

Since 2018, the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation has spent $4.5 billion as the lead on the national housing strategy. However, the report found that the CMHC doesn’t know who is benefiting from its programs.

The London Free Press was the only media outlet to publish the whole Canadian Press story, which also stated;

It is far CHEAPER to PLAN & BE PREPARED than have to Pay HIGH-Cost RECOVERY!

What it doesn't tell you is how the Liberals have a budget of $300 million for First Nations that goes largely unspent each year, because that way the Liberals can call it an asset in their budget. And every new budget they can announce once again that they have this huge budget item for native peoples. They dangle it in front of the chiefs as a carrot to keep the bands following in line, doling it out in small pieces for maximum publicity, but never enough to do any good. The water wells and roads are never completed. And if any of the elected band chiefs complain, well, it can be given to the hereditary chiefs instead (Ottawa plays one against the other).

And that's also why there's a strong movement in Alberta to separate from Canada, a movement where First Nations participate as "Equal Founding Partners". It's called the Alberta Prosperity Project:

https://albertaprosperityproject.com/about-us#vision And that's why Alberta's premier is challenging Trudeau's plans and global mandates.

Sometimes it takes more than a catchy headline or sound bite to tell you what's really going on.

Feds won't charge Rudy Giuliani after raiding his Manhattan apartment:

Former New York Mayor and Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani will not face federal charges after his apartment was raided.

The news comes after the midterm elections and much controversy over devices seized during the raid.

"The Government writes to notify the Court that the grand jury investigation that led to the issuance of the above-referenced warrants has concluded and that based on information currently available to the Government, criminal charges are not forthcoming," the prosecutors noted, according to the New York Post.

"Federal prosecutors from the Southern District of New York had been investigating Giuliani's relationship with a former top prosecutor from Ukriane, Yuriy Lutsenko," the report added.

Giuliani's response

  • · "So where do I go to get my reputation back?

  • · Why don't I go to get my lost clients back?

  • · Where do I go to get the $3-4 million they cost me,

o legal fees,

o damaged other parts of my business,

" Giuliani said.

"I mean:

  • · they've virtually ruined my law practice, and

  • · played a part in the equally absurd and unconstitutional suspension of my law license,

· which makes it even more outrageous," he added.

The two-year investigation sought to discredit the former mayor following his support of Trump and his concerns regarding 2020 election fraud.

Giuliani was also involved in making public the laptop scandal regarding the president's son Hunter Biden.

The case is now over, but much damage has been done in the long-time attacksagainst Giuliani. [Giuliani] [American Digest]

💥💥💥Foxconn imposes restrictions on iPhone assembly plant, with dine-in meal facilities closed amid Zhengzhou Covid-19 outbreak

  • Foxconn’s Zhengzhou campus, which has about 300,000 workers, has banned dining in and asked employees to take meals to dorms

  • The new measures come as Foxconn’s factory ramps up production of the latest iPhone 14 models

The world’s largest iPhone factory, run by Foxconn Technology Group in the central Chinese city of Zhengzhou, has imposed tough Covid-19 control policies, such as closing its dine-in canteen, to keep production running normally amid a fresh outbreak that has put part of the city under lockdown.

Pretty much all of us have one, have had one, or know someone who has one. Smartphones, and in particular iPhones, have changed the way we live our lives. But how many people know who makes them and where? Most people could probably guess China, as it is often referred to as the world’s factory. In this issue, Matt Haldane, a production editor with our tech desk, looks at how China’s zero-Covid policy recently claimed another victim as scenes from the world’s largest iPhone factory grabbed headlines around the world and threatened Christmas gifts for people who could probably not find Zhengzhou on a map. Andrew Mullen Deputy Editor, Political Economy

💥💥💥Who will build all the iPhones? There are no winners in China’s game of Whac-A-Mole that the government is calling “dynamic zero-Covid”, which has hammered the country’s economy and sent growth to lows not seen in decades. This has never been more apparent than when the world’s largest iPhone factory in Zhengzhou started restricting workers, spooking employees to the point of a mass exodus. Foxconn, the world’s largest contract electronics manufacturer, has faced coronavirus-related troubles before. But this was the first time that the deep impact on Apple, the world’s largest technology company, was unmistakable. The company said it expected lower iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max shipments than previously, and Foxconn also revised down its fourth-quarter growth. Zero-Covid is nothing new for China residents. They have been living with it for nearly three years. But the recent outbreak in central Henan province was an especially bad look. Workers at Foxconn’s premiere iPhone plant complained of terrible living conditions and a fear of falling sick because of poor medical care. Some things have improved in the past couple of weeks, with workers saying they now have access to medicine while under quarantine. But this came after many workers left in droves. Foxconn has scrambled to retain assembly line workers as the US enters the busiest shopping season of the year ahead of the holidays. The manufacturer offered a US$70 subsidy to try to woo some of its workers back, and it quadrupled its daily cash bonus to 400 yuan (US$56) to get people to stay. While it is just one company, Foxconn’s size and role in the electronics supply chains of the world’s largest tech brands makes it strategically important for China. The Zhengzhou plant alone employed nearly 300,000 people at its peak. Because the factory is a vital local employer, village cadres started reaching out to former employees to persuade them to return to work. In one county, the local veterans affairs bureau even urged People’s Liberation Army veterans to work at the facility. For now, China remains too critical to supply chains for companies to ditch the market, but large tech firms are hedging their bets. Apple has already been increasing manufacturing in India, and rivals such as Samsung have long since started building up capacity in other markets, with Vietnam being another popular destination. China’s government has so far refused to ditch its virus-control policies. Yet, it recognises the damage to the economy and has promised more support to avoid a hard landing as the world appears to be headed for a recession. However, zero-Covid was just a catalyst for companies to more rapidly expand supply chains outside China, as many tech-related operations have increasingly become caught up in geopolitical tensions. An intensifying US-China tech war has already had immense implications for the semiconductor industry, and tech companies are feeling the heat. Apple CEO Tim Cook said this week that the company would be buying chips from a plant in Arizona, likely referring to the US$12 billion Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company facility that is still under construction. This news came not long after Apple said it was ditching plans to source from Chinese memory chip maker YMTC. Mainland China’s semiconductor plants cannot yet make the advanced chips needed to power an iPhone, but the country has been making headway in memory chips. When Washington again increased export restrictions in October, YMTC was among the hardest hit as the US weighed blacklisting the firm. The semiconductor industry’s troubles illustrate how the tech war and zero-Covid are working together to hammer the world’s second-largest economy, which was already slowing before the pandemic. The domestic chip industry saw its largest monthly decline ever in October, and a decline in chip imports accelerated in the first 10 months of the year. It is no coincidence that Shanghai, China’s semiconductor hub, saw a huge disruption earlier this year by a citywide lockdown. Shanghai-based Semiconductor International Manufacturing Corporation, the country’s largest chip maker, also said US export controls would affect fourth-quarter revenue. Other Apple suppliers have been caught up in the same troubles. Shandong-based Goertek was seen as another victim of the push to diversify supply chains when Apple ditched its acoustics components used in AirPods. Mainland China facilities of Pegatron, a Taiwanese manufacturer, were also hit by lockdowns in Shanghai this year. The company then became caught up in US-China tensions amid rumours that its shipments had been delayed, possibly over a labelling dispute, which the company denied. Still, China is the undisputed leader in global manufacturing. Beijing may be betting on investment returning once zero-Covid restrictions are lifted – a day still nowhere in sight – but geopolitical tensions will not go away so easily. Whether it’s Apple, Samsung or any other multinational conglomerate carefully managing its brand, the trend of slowly diversifying supply chains away from China looks to continue.
