Dong won the nomination, but he still needed Justin Trudeau's stamp of approval to carry the Liberal banner in the suburban Toronto riding - one with a sizable diaspora of Chinese Canadians.
A senior intelligence official told Global News [that] CSIS shared their concerns about Dong in late September 2019 during a classified briefing with senior Liberal Party staff who hold security clearances.
In that meeting, CSIS urged them to rescind Dong's nomination.
Despite the alleged warnings to his staff, Trudeau approved Dong's candidacy.
During the election, a top Liberal organizer even warned Dong's team that he was allegedly a CSIS target, according to sources.
Dong is still an MP today.

BC Teacher Fired After Comment on Residential School Deaths:
A B.C. high school teacher was escorted out of his classroom by two staff members after telling students the majority of residential school deaths were caused by illness.
“I was walked out like a criminal. They can’t walk a teacher out of school unless the teacher is a direct harm and immediate harm to children,” Jim McMurtry of Abbotsford, B.C., told The Epoch Times. “I wasn’t a harm to children because I made one comment that was historically true.”
That was in May, 2021 shortly after media reports began circulating that a “mass grave” of 215 indigenous children was found in Kamloops. McMurtry was suspended, and now almost a year later, he has officially been fired. His termination took effect Feb. 21.
McMurtry has a masters degree in history of education and wrote his thesis on indigenous education policy. When the Kamloops announcement was made, McMurtry read through the government’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission report to update his knowledge and see what may have been behind the deaths.
The report says about 48 percent of residential school deaths for which the cause is known were due to tuberculosis. Most of the rest were due to influenza, pneumonia, other illnesses.
A student in the class McMurtry was supply teaching at the time said the children in Kamloops were tortured by priests and left out in the snow to die, McMurtry said. He hadn’t seen evidence that was true, he told The Epoch Times.
He said to the student that there were things about residential schools that were not good. He also said the majority of deaths were due to illness.
While media at the time reported that the “grave” contained precisely 215 children with some “as young as three” and other details, McMurtry and others have since said there’s no evidence that it’s even a grave.
The site in Kamloops hasn’t been exhumed and the main evidence is a radar gun detection of ground disturbances, McMurtry said. There’s nothing as precise even as childrens’ bodies, he said.
“I’m not defending schools,” McMurtry said. “All I’m saying is that, we live in a society where there’s jurisprudence, where there’s empiricism. … If you’re going to say something, you got to back it up.”
Board’s Decision
McMurtry said that even if he was wrong about the residential school deaths, he doesn’t agree with how he was treated at the end of a 40-year teaching career.
“It was absolutely horrifying that they would do this to a senior teacher at the end of my career for doing something that I’m an authority on,” he said. “But even if I wasn’t, even if I said the wrong thing, that’s no way to treat a teacher.”
The Abbotsford School District did not reply to The Epoch Times inquiry as of publication. In portions of the board’s disciplinary investigation documents McMurtry posted on Twitter, his comments on the residential schools are called “inflammatory, inappropriate and insensitive.”
“Regardless of his intent he left students with the impression some or all of the deaths could be contributed [sic] to ‘natural causes’ and that the deaths could not be called murder or cultural genocide,” the documents said. His comments were “contrary to the school’s message of condolences and reconciliation.”
The board said McMurtry contravened his duty of loyalty to his employer in talking to school trustees and others about the disciplinary investigation. McMurtry said “Why would I show loyalty to people who are ending my career?” He also said he had never signed any confidentiality agreement with them.
In a Feb. 23 letter the board sent him outlining the reasons he was fired, it brought up incidents prior to the comments about residential schools.
“You made inappropriate sexualized comments to students; you exercised poor judgment by making imprudent comments to a certain student with whom you did not have a positive relationship; you failed to follow COVID-19 protocols,” were some of the other factors the board said it took into consideration in its decision to fire him.
McMurtry said regarding the earlier incidents that he had already settled that with the board.
“I can’t talk about that … because it’s settled,” he said.
An older interview with the National Post gave an example of the “sexualized” comments. He was once discussing the history of the Olympics with his class and said ancient Greeks competed naked, “Sort of like women’s beach volleyball today.”
For decades, McMurtry said, he taught at various schools and served as a principal and never had problems with his employers. It was when he started with the Abbotsford School District a few years ago that problems started.
When asked why he thinks that’s so, he said “what’s happening is cancel culture. So, in schools, teachers are walking on eggshells.”

Blow-up of Nord Stream I and II:
Did the German Chancellor and the President of the European Commission Betray the People of Germany and Europe?
Betrayal by politicians of their compatriots, the very people who trust them, who may have voted for them and who pay with their taxes for their wages and livelihoods, must be one of humanity’s most miserable crimes. It is so “low”, there is no word that adequately describes the absolute absence of ethics, morals and souls of such people.
Other than they are soulless, without ethics and without morals.
They may be rare, but such people and politicians do exist. They are in high demand by the oligarch-elitists and the masters of deceit and of corporate finance, operating from the dark, the Deep State, ruling through their executing organs, Washington / the White House; the World Economic Forum (WEF), WHO, the FED, the European Union / EU Commission – and, finally, via the Bank for International Settlement (BIS).
A reminder: In the 1930s and 40s, the BIS channeled US funding to Germany’s Reichsbank (Central Bank) to finance Hitler’s war against the Soviet Union. Today, the BIS is literally the Central Bank of (almost) all Central Banks.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and unelected President of the EU Commission (EC), Ursula von der Leyen, meet the profile of such sought-after traitors. It took the obscure Powers that Be months of vetting the candidacy of the two for their designated jobs of respectively, Chancellor of Germany and President of the European Commission (EC).
They way these tasks have to be carried out, they are jobs of “integrity” to the obscure, to the Deep State, to the Death Cult that seems to be running our world – for now.
The latter, Ms. Von der Leyen, proved her disloyalty to the European people by ordering in September 2022 4.5 billion doses of Pfizer covid vaxxes for a European population of about 450 million – about ten jabs per person. These are billions of people’s tax euros paid to Pfizer for a totally invalid and highly dangerous experimental mRNA injection.
And this after Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla has openly recognized that Pfizer vaxxes are not preventing the covid “disease”, nor the spread of covid. He also acknowledged the serious side effects that the mRNA experimental injections may have.
Instead of immediately calling off all the vaccination programs around the globe to protect what’s left of unvaxxed people, especially children, mankind’s future generation, von der Leyen puts more fuel into the vaxx bulldozer so that more people suffer, lose their immunity, become ill and may die. Not to mention the utter corruption behind the 4.5 billion doses deal – so far unpunished. Von der Leyen keeps her illustrious position of hypocrisy and falsehood.
However, today the focus is on the former, on German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on his fore-knowledge of the Nord Stream Pipeline blow-up.
As a precursor to what will follow, Madame Von der Leyen was fully aware, involved and up-to-date as a compatriot and ally of Olaf Scholz’s, having gone through the same Schwab / WEF Academy for Young Global Leaders (YGL). On top of it, Ursula von der Leyen is also on the WEF’s Board of Trustees. She is deeply committed to the Agenda WEF / UN 2030.
How much advance knowledge did Chancellor Scholz have about the blow-up of Nord Stream 2 on 26 September 2022?
Notwithstanding some lacking precisions in Seymour Hersh’s article – see this – during a joint Press Conference by President Biden and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz at the White House on February 7, 2022, about two weeks before Russia’s Special Action on Ukraine, Joe Biden said these precise words, “If Russia invades, there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2, we will bring an end to it.”
When a reporter asked how exactly he intended to do it, given that the project was within the control of Germany, Biden just said, “I promise we will be able to do it.”
Mr. Scholz, standing next to Biden, answered the same question, saying something like, “we are in this together”. (See Michel Chossudovsky’s detailed analysis and video interview)
This – “we are in this together” – would indicate that they talked about and agreed before on how to stop Nord Stream 2. If you were a German businessman in manufacturing, who depends on cheap Russian gas to remain internationally competitive, or a simple German or European citizen, whose winter heating depends on Russian gas, wouldn’t these words alone already indicate an utmost betrayal by Scholz of the German and European people?
Europe depends about 40% on Russian gas. The percentage in Germany in 2021 may be in excess of 50%.
On 22 February 2022, two days before the Russian military action on Ukraine, Chancellor Scholz called off the completion of Nord Stream 2 which at that time was scheduled to be ready for Russian gas deliveries within about three months. See this.
The Russian military intervention on Ukraine’s constant aggression on the 95% Russian Donbass population – ever since the 2014 western- / US- / NATO-instigated Maidan coup, as well as on Ukraine’s dozens of US-funded bio-weapon laboratories – took place only two days later, on 24 February 2022.
Did Olaf Scholz have previous knowledge of the date and timing of the Russian military action?
There were many omissions or unanswered questions in Sy Hersh’s article (above), some of which were cleared up by a follow-up interview of Hersh’s by journalist Fabian Scheidler. See this interview for more details.
What emerged from this Hersh–Scheidler conversation is that Gordon Sullivan, a member of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, was leading an “interagency group” that met in December 2021 secretly to figure out what “actions” to take, i.e. how to destroy the pipelines.
Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland – remember, “f*ck Europe” – who had been deeply involved in the infamous US- / NATO-instigated February 2014 Ukraine Maidan Coup and in every step from then to now, talked already earlier about “we can do it” – meaning destroying the pipelines.
From the Hersh–Scheidler conversation expired that the decision to blow up the gas ducts was taken around 20 January 2022. These are Sy Hersh’s words in his conversation with Fabian Scheidler,
“And then the president as well, with Olaf Scholz, said on February 7 [referring to the joint Biden-Scholz Press Conference] that we could do it. Scholz said nothing specific; he was vague. But a question that I would ask Scholz, if I had a parliamentary hearing, is this: Did President Biden tell you about this? Did he tell you at that time why he was so confident he could blow it up? We didn’t have a plan yet, but we knew we had the capability to do it.”
This question is, indeed, crucial. To what extent was Olaf Scholz – and by association Madame von der Leyen – involved in the decision-making process? In any case, it is almost sure that Scholz knew already about it at the 7 February 2022 Press Conference, when he told the asking journalist “We are in this together”.
The unelected President of the EC, Ursula von der Leyen, was without the slightest doubt fully on board with the decision – to the detriment of citizens of Germany and Europe.
Mr. Scholz also knew that the overall WEF / UN Agenda 2030 included destruction and deindustrialization of Germany as a precursor to annihilation of the European economy. He was also aware that Germany’s corporate manufacturing community, and, of course, the public at large, were completely against such measures.
Olaf Scholz also knows about the close links the German business community has with Russia and may have suspected, even above and beyond the US-CIA suspicions, that these close ties may find ways of accessing Russian gas.
As an obedient scholar of Klaus Schwab’s WEF, might it then be too far-fetched to speculate that Mr. Scholz himself may have given Washington, the Biden Administration, a hint in the direction of “blowing-up” the pipelines – “just to be sure”?
Knowing by now, the degree of traitors of the German and European people Scholz and von der Leyen are, this is, of course, just pure speculation. It’s left to the reader to form his or her own opinion.

GOP Probing Buttigieg's Ohio Train Derailment Response:
Congressional Republicans are opening a probe of the East Palestine, Ohio, train derailment and hazardous chemical spill, including Department of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg's response.
In a letter to Buttigieg Friday, House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Republicans said they were opening an investigation into the Feb. 3 derailment of a 150-car Norfolk Southern freight train in the town of East Palestine that resulted in a massive fire and controlled release and burn off of hazardous chemicals, including vinyl chloride.
"This incident is an environmental and public health emergency that now threatens Americans across state lines,"the letter, signed by 21 Republican committee members, said. "Despite the DOT's responsibility to ensure safe and reliable transport in the United States, you ignored the catastrophe for over a week."
Buttigieg visited the site Thursday, a day after GOP 2024 presidential candidate and former President Donald Trump toured the site and brought supplies to the town of about 5,000 residents.
"The American people deserve answers as to what caused the derailment, and DOT needs to provide an explanation for its leadership's apathy in the face of this emergency," the letter continued.
In response, The Hill reported that Buttigieg posted on Twitter that the incident was more in the jurisdiction of the National Transportation Safety Board than the DOT.

As President Joe Biden's administration seemed to struggle responding to the disaster, Biden made a surprise visit to Ukraine where he announced an additional $500 million in aid for the war effort against Russia there.
Back in Washington on Friday, Biden told reporters that he still has no plans to visit the Ohio town, but praised his administration's response for "being on the ground" there within two hours of the derailment.
"At this moment not [planning to visit East Palestine]," Biden said in a video posted on Twitter. "I posted a whole video [on Zoom]. "I had a long meeting with my team and what they were doing. We were there after two hours after the train was down."
He said he spoke with "every major figure"in Pennsylvania and Ohio regarding the crash.
"The idea that we are not engaged is simply not fair," he said. "In addition, there was not a request made even before I was heading over [to Ukraine]."
The letter said the committee "was deeply concerned" about DOT's "slow pace in resolving this matter."
The members asked Buttigieg to provide a number of documents to the committee by March 10.

100 Soldiers DEAD – Giant Strike Reported!
Ukrainian sources claimed on Twitter that more than 100 people had been left trapped under the rubble after Ukrainian forces claimed to have attacked a base and field hospital housing Russian troops.
A report reveals that approximately 30 miles south of Lysychansk, in the Russian-occupied town of Kadiivka, the Ukrainian military’s Strategic Communications Directorate (AFU Stratcom) reported that its forces had attacked the hospital building of a former machine-building plant.
According to AFU Stratcom, Russian soldiers, particularly those associated with Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, who criticized Moscow’s war commanders, lived in the former hospital.
According to the Kyiv Independent, Russian-backed militants in Luhansk Oblast acknowledged the Ukrainian assault on Kadiivka and the destruction of the plant’s dispensary by a Ukrainian HIMARS strike.
There were no independent reports on casualties from the alleged strike, nor was the attack or Russian death toll confirmed.
According to RIA Novosti, the Russian Defense Ministry announced on Sunday that troops from its Western Military District attacked Ukrainian units in the Kharkiv and Luhansk oblasts, inflicting more than 130 casualties on Kyiv’s forces.
According to Yaroslav Yanushevych, the governor of Kherson Oblast, Russian forces attacked Kherson Oblast 25 times, inflicting three casualties.
Meanwhile, there is a concern in Washington that continuing to provide Ukraine with weapons threatens the U.S.’s ability to prevent China from invading Taiwan and prevail in the event of a conflict with China.
According to a recently released think-tank analysis, the U.S. would run out of long-range, precision-guided munitions in a war with China over Taiwan in less than a week if current conditions remained the same.
Seth Jones, a senior vice president at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), wrote that the United States has been slow to replenish its arsenal, and the DoD has only placed on contract a fraction of the weapons it has sent to Ukraine.

JPMorgan Chase, America’s largest bank, has just agreed to invest in Ukraine to the tune of up to $30 billion. Officials from the bank met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and members of misgovernment Kyiv, the capital city of Ukraine, to discuss the deal. “I understand very well that doing business and investing cannot be beneficial to only one party. We want you to invest in Ukraine and earn money,” Zelensky said.
JPMorgan Chase stated that it is proud to support the country and is committed to doing so. The two parties held an online meeting with 200 investors, financial institutions, and corporations to discuss the practicalities and to create a mechanism for investment in renewable energy, as well as technology. The idea of creating a specific bank, that would be administered on Wall Street and focus on investments in the infrastructure of Ukraine was also discussed. The Eastern European country’s infrastructure, including bridges, roads, and oil refineries, has been severely damaged in the war with Russia that has been raging since February 2022.
The CEO of JPMorgan Chase, Jamie Dimon, has previously said that his bank will take a huge financial hit by winding down its interests in Russia. He warned that the war will have implications for the global economy for years to come. In a letter to shareholders, Dimon wrote that this was the first time he had ever had to communicate JPMorgan’s potential losses. He added that the European Economy would experience slowing growth in the coming years due to energy crises and described Europe as “heavily dependent” on Russian oil and gas. An economic slowdown in Europe will have a knock-on effect in the United States, which would also see a reduction in growth.
