Ukrainian refugees are like twin brothers in the faith and welcomed. Muslim refugees in Europe have a bad reputation and are not so welcome because they include mobs of radical young men with a superiority complex. It's hard for us to understand this when we get mostly families who have been sponsored or "cherry-picked" to use the words of a Canadian immigration authority.
You know, we Christians could organize ourselves locally to "twin" with a congregation or village in a third world country... sending them money to be distributed by a pastor we trust. I'm sure there are lots of third world believers who would rather stay home than travel thousands of miles and risk being raped, enslaved, and abused by gangs and unscrupulous "employers" when they arrive here. Why aren't more churches talking about this and helping to find twin communities? When you travel to the Caribbean, or some poor nation go to church there and meet the pastor. Show the initiative. Write to ministries who are always asking for funds and tell them you want to make it personal by twinning pastors, not families, with a goal to have exchange pastors you can meet.

SFSO told Fox News last week that a person presenting themselves as an immigration official arrived at the county jail Oct. 31 seeking access to DePape for an interview:
1. However, they said the person was denied access due to a lack of government credentials -- instead saying they only presented a business card. ...
2. However, an ICE official has since told Fox News Digital that the ICE agent, an Enforcement and Removal Operations deportation officer, not only attempted to conduct an in-person interview with DePape, but also had government ID.
"The officer identified herself and presented her government issued credentials bearing her photo, name, position and organization," the official said. "[San Francisco County Jail] denied the DO's request to interview DePape."
Um, what? So, a federal immigration agent showed up to speak to an illegal immigrant, and the sheriff was just like...
