Thought(s) for the Day:

Pastor – Jack HIBBS:

Today on Fox Business!

In Genesis 11, the people of earth came together as one in an attempt to remove God from His place of authority and set themselves on His throne. Today, humankind is repeating this sad history in its attempt to globalize.

Pastor Jack’s desire is to see your relationship with Christ deepen and your effectiveness in His kingdom increase. JACKHIBBS.COM

Remind Sony Exposing Kids to LGBT Ideals is Dangerous:

Did you hear that the upcoming Spider-Man film will promote the idea of "trans-kids"? Unfortunately, Sony has decided to go ahead and push the transgender ideology to children in the upcoming Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse film set to release on June 2nd. Concerned fans found this red flag in the film's second trailer, which was released on April 4th. In a blink-and-you-miss-it, a trans-gender flag that says "protect trans-kids" was found hanging in the Gwen Stacy character's bedroom. It is genuinely baffling why Sony and many other media corporations feel the need to keep bowing down to the whims of the LGBT mob. Tell Sony Picture's CEO, Tony Vinciquerra, to remove the "protect trans kids" flag from the movie. Does Sony know that pushing progressive ideologies harms its financial bottom line? Disney knows this fact; since Pixar produced not one, but two flops last year titled Lightyear and Strange World. Both films combined costed Disney over $303 million in losses. The previous film, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, did not need to pander to this destructive sexual ideology onto children and become a box-office hit since it stuck to traditional themes of friendship, the importance of family, and always doing the right thing. It is also weird that Sony is following Disney's terrible business model while another competitor, Illumination, has figured out this is the key to success. Illumination's Super Mario Bros. Movie is on track to make over a BILLION dollars because it remained apolitical and provided a family-friendly experience. All the best, Gregory Tomchyshyn and the entire CitizenGO Team P.S. Remind Sony that family values still matter in 2023 and that modern audiences are sick of sexual ideologies constantly imposed upon our children. Here's the email we sent you earlier on this: Remind Sony Pictures and CEO Tony Vinciquerra that they do not need to promote the LGBT agenda in children’s movies. Demand that they remove progressive ideology pandering in the upcoming Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse film. SIGN THE PETITIONDear _______ __________, The upcoming and highly anticipated animated Spider-Man movie, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, will peddle the LBGT narrative to children. This time it is the notion that "Trans Kids" exists. In the second trailer released for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, a "protect trans-kids" flag is shown in the bedroom of a character known as Gwen Stacy. Let Sony Picture's CEO Tony Vinciquerra to remove the "protect trans kids" flag from the movie. It is baffling why Sony Animation would pander to the LGBT agenda, especially given how Disney is continually negatively affected. Is Sony unaware of Disney Pixar's recent failures with Lightyear and Strange World at the box office? These animated films heavily pushed for the transgender ideology towards families going to theatres and met the same result: BOTH FILMS WERE GIGANTIC EXPENSIVE FLOPS. According to Wikipedia, Lightyear cost Disney an estimated $106 million, and Strange World gave Dinsey a $197 million loss, with the latter featuring the first LGBT lead in a Pixar animated film. Inform Sony Pictures that pandering to the LGBT community, like Disney, will hurt their bottom line. Illumination has found success with the Super Mario Bros. Movie. Why has this movie become a box office hit? It delivered a simple, family-friendly story that gave fans what they wanted while remaining uninvolved with progressive identity politics. These same ingredients for success are found in the previous animated Spider-Man film, Into the Spider-Verse. It focused on traditional themes of friendship, the importance of family, and always doing the right thing. Furthermore, it was a box-office success that won Best Animated Feature at the 91st Academy Awards, beating Disney Pixar, which held the award since 2012. Remind Sony Pictures CEO Tony Vinciquerra that Across the Spider-Verse does not need to pander to the LGBT community to be a successful family-friendly film. All the best, Gregory Tomchyshyn and the entire CitizenGO Team P.S. It is continually baffling why so many Hollywood studios feel the need to continuously promote the transgender ideology. This is why we must continuely remind companies like Sony that pandering to political ideologies within children entertainment are always a bad finacial idea. Soldier Fainted while on Parade at King Charles’ Coronation:

Nothing to see here. Just a soldier who collapsed during the coronation ceremony.

Actually, it is normal and always has been. When you stand in attention for a long time some soldiers pass out.

It was always a common event for a soldier to faint on parade. He would have been briefed to kneel if he felt faint.

Strange habitations for humans:

Be prepared for an incredible journey (at least 10 minutes). Could we ever go back to living like this again?

Abandoned for centuries.

Purportedly created around the 8th or 7th century BCE, archaeologists think that the caves were carved by hand into soft volcanic rock. An underground home fit for human habitation, a deep ventilation shaft is thought to have acted as a well for water, while a network of chimneys offered air circulation. The city is said to have had a wide array of amenities, with stables for animals, churches, a school and even wineries built underground.

All the establishment parties like corporate welfare!

Maxime expresses it so much better than I could or what I've read so far.

It’s been two weeks since Justin Trudeau announced he was giving $13B to Volkswagen to help build an electric-vehicle battery plant in southern Ontario. $13 billion!!! That’s half of Canada’s annual spending on defense, for just ONE company! The largest recipient of corporate welfare in Canadian history, until now, was Bombardier. It “only” collected $4 billion – over a period of 50 years! My position has always been clear: All the dozens of programs that distribute subsidies to businesses must be abolished. It’s a complete waste of resources. If a business needs taxpayers’ money to fund a project, it means it’s not profitable, and resources would be more efficiently used elsewhere. If a project is profitable, then it doesn’t need a subsidy, and we should tell lobbyists to take a hike. You would think the official opposition in Parliament would be up in arms after such an outrageous announcement. But no. Not a word. In the conservative publication The Hub, editor-in-chief Stuart Thompson noted that the opposition responded “with astonishing silence.”

Pierre Poilievre is afraid to criticize it. You see, it’s a bit touchy, because the riding where that plant will be built is represented by a Conservative MP... Poilievre is willing to betray 28 million Canadian taxpayers so he won’t lose any votes in that riding. Should we be surprised? Just like the Liberals, the fake Conservatives only care about buying votes with your money! All the establishment parties like corporate welfare. We need another voice in Ottawa that cares about the well-being of all Canadians. William, you can make a sound investment today that will be profitable for all of Canada. Invest in real fiscal conservatism with a $13 donation to the PPC! P.S.: If you have trouble finding where you can donate, you can just click this link!

Thank you, [Maxime]

Here's your ticket to The Drop Box:

Today marks the start of the National March for Life Week and to kick things off, here’s your link to tonight’s Life on Film presentation of The Drop Box.

Click on the image to watch tonight’s Life on Film presentation of The Drop Box at 8 PM EDT.

The Drop Box is a moving documentary that’s been touching the hearts of people around the world.

It’s about the life and work of Pastor Lee Jong-rak, and how he’s been saving babies from abortion in South Korea.

This film is wonderful.

Not only does it show what can happen when a pro-lifer is moved by faith, it proves that one person’s love can inspire others to embrace the Gospel of Life. On a personal level, it reminds of why the pro-life movement here in Canada needs to stand firm in our commitment to fight against the evils of abortion … And to stand firm in our commitment to never compromise on our convictions.

So, join us at 8 PM EDT on the National March for Life’s YouTube channel for tonight’s Life on Film presentation of The Drop Box. For the folks on the West Coast, the film will remain online until 9 PM PDT (12 AM EDT).

Tonight’s feature is hosted by my colleague Josie Luetke and includes some short clips of an interview with Pastor Lee.

A special “thanks” is order for the good folks at Focus on the Family, who worked with us to set up a one-time screening for the National March for Life Week.

Speaking of the National March for Life …
