Verse(s) for today:
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, And into his courts with praise: Be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
Psalm 100:4 KJV
The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
Zephaniah 3:17 KJV
But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
Acts 20:24 KJV
Give the Homeless Cash instead of Socialist Supports:
VANCOUVER — There's a stark contrast between public perception and the reality of how homeless people spend money, says a researcher who gave 50 homeless people in British Columbia $7,500 each to do with as they wished.
Instead of blowing the windfall on "temptation goods", such as alcohol, drugs or cigarettes, they spent it on rent, clothing and food, the study led by University of British Columbia researcher Jiaying Zhao found.
Survey respondents predicted that recipients of an unconditional $7,500 cash transfer would spend 81 per cent more on goods like alcohol, drugs and tobacco if they were homeless than if they were housed.
Zhao said most also predicted homeless people would spend $300 on such goods a month, while the study found those individuals only spent about $100 per month on such goods.

DETAILS:
VANCOUVER — There's a stark contrast between public perception and the reality of how homeless people spend money, says a researcher who gave 50 homeless people in British Columbia $7,500 each to do with as they wished.
Instead of blowing the windfall on "temptation goods", such as alcohol, drugs or cigarettes, they spent it on rent, clothing and food, the study led by University of British Columbia researcher Jiaying Zhao found.
The handout even generated a net saving of almost $800 per recipient, taking into account the costs that would have been involved in providing shelter accommodation.
"The goal is to do something about the homelessness crisis here in Canada, and specifically Vancouver because the current approaches are failing," said Zhao, who is working with policymakers on the problem. "I think this study provides very strong evidence in favour of a basic-income policy."
Researchers tracked the spending of the recipients for a year after they received the cash. They also followed a control group of 65 homeless people who did not get the handout.
The study, recently published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, found recipients spent 99 fewer days homeless, and spent 55 more days in stable housing. They also retained $1,160 more savings.
Zhao, an associate professor of psychology at UBC, said in an interview Wednesday that the researchers "found a range of surprising positive benefits of a cash transfer." Spending on "temptation goods" was no different between the recipients and the control group. However, the study did not include people with severe substance or alcohol use or mental health symptoms. Other criteria required participants to have been homeless for less than two years.
Participants were recruited from 22 homeless shelters across the B.C. Lower Mainland.
The study said that by reducing time in shelters, the cash transfer was "cost-effective."
It said the societal cost of a shelter stay in Vancouver was about $93 per night, and the fewer nights in shelters resulted in "societal cost savings" of $8,277 per recipient. That represented a net saving of $777 compared to the cost of the handout.
"Alternatively, freed-up shelter beds can be reallocated, so the benefits can trickle down by helping others avoid sleeping on the street," the study noted. Zhao said the study was funded by a grant from the federal government and by private donors and foundations she declined to identify. The researchers also conducted an online survey of about 1,100 U.S. residents to understand public perceptions of homeless people's spending. Vancouverites were not recruited because researchers were seeking a "representative voice" in North America, and Zhao said "people in Vancouver are more progressive than an average person in North America."
"That's an unfortunate, pervasive belief held by many people, so we wanted to actually examine or look at this bias," she said.
Zhao said her team found public perception can be challenged through effective messaging and policy changes.
"I'm working with politicians and policymakers in Canada on bills like this," she said, referring to Bill S-233 that is currently before the Senate and aims to create a national framework for a guaranteed basic income to cover essential living expenses for people in Canada over age 17.
She said researchers are now replicating the study with a larger sample of people, and expanding it to other cities in Canada and the U.S.

Video of catfight at Morgan Wallen Concert goes viral, 'Romper Stomper' said she was defending her mom in porta-potty brawl:
Viral video caught the moment that several women engaged in a vicious catfight in and around porta-potties at a Morgan Wallen concert in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Multiple female country music fans were in line to use the porta-potties during Wednesday's Morgan Wallen concert.
A woman gets in the face of another female concertgoer and screams, "F*** you. You do not cut in front of me!"
The two women exchange shoves, and a woman violently pushes another woman into the open door of a portable toilet that a surprised woman was about to exit. The brouhaha escalates inside the porta-potty. A concerned onlooker gives her drink to a friend to hold and then attempts to break up the fight.
A fourth woman wearing a blue romper and white cowboy boots marches into the porta-potty and forcefully drags out a woman by pulling her hair while punching her in the head at the same time. Then the woman in the blue romper punches and kicks the woman who initially attempted to break up the fight. Then the peacemaker is thrown to the pavement by the woman who was originally involved in the brawl.

The women involved in the nasty catfight dispersed before police arrived, and no arrests were made.
A spokesperson for Pittsburgh’s Department of Public Safety told Billboard that there were "plenty of ejections for intoxication," but it was unknown if any of the combatants were kicked out of the PNC Park venue hosting the concert that was part of Wallen's "One Night at a Time" tour.
The video of the country music concert brawl quickly went viral. Footage of the porta-potty brawl was uploaded to social media by Barstool Sports on Thursday afternoon and had racked up nearly 13 million views by Saturday on the X platform, formerly known as Twitter.
(WARNING: Graphic video)
The woman who went into a romper rampage during the fight was later identified as Dalanie DiSabato – who has been nicknamed as the "Romper Stomper."
"I didn’t really realize that I cut in front of this girl," DiSabato told the BFF podcast. "And I walked into the bathroom, and my mom was standing outside of the door, guarding the door, because this girl was pissed. Like, she was mad."
DiSabato said she walked out of the porta-potty and "saw two girls ganging up" on her mom, so she "just did what I think any daughter would have done, I beat the f*** out of them." [The BLAZE Media]

Canada's "Owned" Media not Trusted by Canadians:
Tue Aug 29, 2023 - 9:58 pm EDT
In June, LifeSiteNews reported on how Canada’s Department of Health was shown to have forced government-funded mainstream media outlets to issue hundreds of “corrections.”
The media outlets were warned that they had to abide by the requests as a condition to continue to obtain government funding.
OTTAWA (LifeSiteNews) – Canada’s Public Health Agency’s (PHA) own research has shown that most Canadians have an exceptionally low level of trust in both the federal government and mainstream media, which has even lower trust ratings than elected officials.
“While respondents have a lot of trust in hospitals and health care workers, trust in the federal government (e.g. the Public Health Agency) is much lower,” said the findings from the PHA’s report Use of Public Health Measures, Advice and Risk Assessment Survey, as per Blacklock’s Reporter.
The report shows that less than a third of Canadians displayed “high trust” of the federal government, with “large media organizations” as well as celebrities getting even lower scores.
The report findings came from questionnaires that were sent to some 6,200 Canadians nationwide as well as nine federal focus groups. It was conducted by Abacus Data, costing some $172,237 of taxpayer money.
When it came to the federal government, only 32% of Canadians said they had a “high trust” in them, with provincial governments coming in even lower at 26%.
Large mainstream media outlets and “journalists” working for them scored a “high trust” rating of only 18%. This was followed by only 12% of people saying they trusted “ordinary people,” with celebrities garnering only an eight percent “trust” rating.

The report noted that “journalists and reporters working for large media organizations are trusted less than the federal government by survey respondents.”
In June, the PHA admitted that as the COVID crisis went on, more and more people displayed less trust in federal officials. The report noted that “people want factual, balanced, unbiased and politically neutral information that includes source attribution.” Not surprisingly, because of the COVID lockdowns and mandates that resulted in many jab-free Canadians losing their jobs, 17% of Canadians said their trust in the federal government has been forever shaken than before the COVID crisis.
“This much was echoed by health care professionals who indicated their patients’ trust in at least one level of government had waned,” the researchers of the report noted. “Health care professionals explained information from the government was fast-evolving, not always clear and at times contradictory.”
The agency said that “trust,” particularly in the “government and health care sector,” is central to the “effectiveness of public health measures.” The survey results show that this “trust” level is simply not there.
Low trust in media and government is not without precedent…
Go to this SITE and SIGN the PETITION: New report shows Canadians’ low levels of trust in the gov’t and the media - LifeSite (lifesitenews.com)

Canadians’ low trust in both the mainstream media as well as the government comes at the same time recent reports show agencies were trying to manipulate the media narrative. In June, LifeSiteNews reported on how Canada’s Department of Health was shown to have forced government-funded mainstream media outlets to issue hundreds of “corrections.” The media outlets were warned that they had to abide by the requests as a condition to continue to obtain government funding. Some Canadians who got the COVID shots but were then injured by them have taken both the federal government and state-run media to court due to what they said was propaganda about the jabs.
In July, LifeSiteNews reported on Carrie Sakamoto, a Saskatchewan mom who now suffers from Bell’s Palsy after taking the COVID-19 injection. Sakamoto is suing the Canadian government and various health officials, as well as the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) for misinformation and negligence, as she noted for convincing her that the vaccine was “safe” and “effective.” In June, LifeSiteNews reported on how the federal government knew,as per a secret memo, that the COVID shots caused injuries but instead came up with a strategy to counter people’s fears.
Also, in May, a former CBC journalist revealed that reporters were stopped from being able to cover stories critical of COVID vaccines and lockdowns and were instead encouraged to push government “propaganda.”
The federal government subsidizes legacy media in Canada to the tune of over $1 billion a year.
In 2019, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau promised that his Liberal government would give legacy media, including the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), an extra $595 million in federal assistance over the next four years.
Per its 2020-2021 annual report, the CBC receives about $1.24 billion in public funding every year, which is about 70% of its funding.

Merrick Garland might’ve created a massive headache for the Bidens:
Joe Biden empowered Attorney General Merrick Garland to go after his political opponents.
And Garland was eager to do it. Now Garland might’ve created a massive headache for the Bidens. Attorney General Merrick Garland is no friend of the Republicans after he was denied a confirmation hearing for the Supreme Court.
Since assuming his role, Garland has gone after Democrats’ political enemies, including parents protesting at school board meetings.
But more troubling, Garland seemingly intervened to protect Joe Biden and son Hunter Biden from serious criminal charges regarding Hunter’s foreign business dealings.
Garland recently gave U.S. Attorney David Weiss Special Counsel status to investigate Hunter Biden’s alleged crimes, the same Weiss who allowed the statute of limitations to run out on serious tax charges against Hunter.
Weiss also tried to cut a sweetheart deal with Hunter’s lawyer that was ultimately blown up by a shrewd judge.
And Garland’s actions could backfire.
Appearance of fishy business at Garland’s DOJ, the Office of Special Counsel, and NARA called out by a renowned legal scholar.
Liberal legal analyst Jonathan Turley said that his actions could force the Republicans to open an impeachment inquiry.
Turley wrote, “Even some liberal pundits are mystified by these moves and why Garland would not simply appoint someone in compliance with the regulations who could guarantee a new and full investigation. So Weiss is now investigating crimes that continue to dwindle in number due to the long delays in prosecution. It is like waiting for winter to go goose hunting in Canada, long after the geese have flown South…Now…Congress will have a more difficult time getting answers out of Weiss because he can claim he is engaged in an ongoing special counsel investigation, and he can use the eventual special counsel report as much to defend his own actions as to detail any potential crimes.”
Weiss also has previous ties to the Bidens in his capacity as U.S. Attorney for the District of Delaware.
USA David Weiss may be the least qualified, most compromised person to serve as special counsel in faux investigation and non-prosecution of Hunter Biden, but that suits AG Merrick Garland's purposes just fine. I explain the seemingly inexplicable @FDRLST https://t.co/csCoIkAlit pic.twitter.com/wCZeYjE7Ip
— Benjamin Weingarten (@bhweingarten) August 24, 2023
Turley continued, “[T]he Biden administration still is resisting the sharing of information with the House, including records held by the National Archives. For months, I have discussed a potential impeachment of the president with Republican House members and have encouraged them not to repeat the abuses of House Democrats in the use of ‘snap impeachments’ and the discarding of fact hearings in the House Judiciary Committee. Garland, however, has effectively forced their hands.”
So Garland’s attempts at shielding Hunter could end up taking down Joe.
Turley added, “With the investigative impediments created by the Weiss appointment and by Garland’s refusal to expressly extend the special counsel’s mandate to the allegations of Biden family influence-peddling, there is little choice but to commence an impeachment inquiry. The authority of the House is at its apex when carrying out its duties under the impeachment clause.”
The Bidens are not even close to being out of hot water.

Sexual Exploitation of Children
In Canadian schools, globally under UN and WHO direction. Alert, solutions, and WCH event invitation
The same global predatorial institutions that create weaponized viruses and misrepresented genetic injections; are also after our kids; not just to inject them, but also to sexualize them and normalize pedophilia. This is not a cheery Sunday subject, but it is important. Our children are our future, and the global predators are out to abuse and destroy them. Here are several short videos demonstrating the Canadian and global programs to sexualize our children in schools and through high-jacked governmental institutions. There is also an invitation to a live event tomorrow at 2 PM.

More NEWS about First Nation’s GRAVES:
Alleged mass grave of indigenous children at Catholic schools across Canada contains NO BODIES, excavation shows - as experts suggest it's proof, that the stories were fabricated
· Surveys with ground-penetrating radar suggested more than 1,000 secret burials
· But no bodies have been found two years on in the only dig so far
· Comes as Canadian government is lobbied to criminalize 'denialism'
UPDATED: 18:04 EDT, 31 August 2023
Doubts are growing about the scale of historic abuse at Canada's notorious residential schools for indigenous children after a dig at one of the country's most high-profile sites uncovered no bodies. The country has set aside billions of dollars in compensation and declared a 'cultural genocide' in the treatment of indigenous children who were taken away from their families and placed at the schools for much of the 19th and 20th centuries. Teams using ground-penetrating radar claim to have found mass graves in the last two years containing the remains of more than 1,000 children who were buried in secret.
But no bodies have since been recovered, and researchers have now confirmed that none have been found during a four-week dig in the basement of Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Catholic Church, on the site of the former Pine Creek Residential School, where the remains of more than 60 children were thought to be hidden.
'People believe things that are not true or improbable and they continue to believe it even when no evidence turns up,' said Tom Flanagan, a professor emeritus of political science at the University of Calgary.
'People seem to double down on their conviction that something happened.'
The country's Truth and Reconciliation commission concluded in 2015 that between 3,000 and 6,000 children died in school, mainly from disease. Former students told the commission they were forcefully taken from their families, forbidden from speaking their own languages and often physically or sexually abused in 130 schools which taught more than 150,000 pupils.
Three quarters of the schools were run by the Catholic Church, and Pope Francis met survivors in 2021 and apologized for Church's involvement.
And Prime Minister Justin Trudeau admitted 'Canada's responsibility' in 2021 after a survey indicated 751 unmarked graves at a cemetery near the former Marieval Indian Residential School in Saskatchewan.
His government set aside $40 billion for compensation to survivors and First Nations child welfare in that year's budget.
'This was a crime against humanity, an assault on First Nations,' said Chief Bobby Cameron of the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous First Nations in Saskatchewan. 'We will not stop until we find all the bodies,' he added.
The discovery took place just weeks after another 215 children were reportedly found buried on the site of the Kamloops Indian Residential School in Kamloops, British Columbia, and sent Canada into a wave of revulsion.

Obama’s connections to Hunter Biden revealed in stunningnew emails:
Hunter Biden’s corrupt business dealings run deep. Now even Obama may have been involved.
Because Obama’s connections to Hunter Biden have been revealed in stunning new emails.
Hunter Biden had ties to a number of Obama-Biden administration figures, but an email from the senior State Department official’s chief of staff shows just how close Hunter was to the highest levels of the administration.
In emails first obtained by Fox News, a top aide to then-Secretary of State John Kerry told some of his fellow State Department officials that Hunter and Hunter had a close friendship and that Hunter had requested Kerry to address his Georgetown University graduate students on March 18, 2014. This was just over six months ahead of when Hunter and his longtime business partner Devon Archer joined the board of directors at the Burisma energy company in Ukraine.
David Wade discussed the potential of Kerry visiting Hunter and his students at “HST,” the Harry S. Truman headquarters of the State Department, in an email to John R. Bass and Jonathan Finer from the fall of 2013.
Wade was Kerry’s staff chief at the time. Bass is currently the management-related undersecretary of state. Finer was a senior advisor to current secretary of state and former deputy national security adviser Antony Blinken at the time the email was sent.
“Just spoke with Hunter Biden, good friend of S, who teaches a class at Georgetown on advocacy,” Wade said. “He’d like S to speak to his class on 3/18. If S is here, he’ll for sure want to do this. Class would come here to HST.”
Based on numerous further email exchanges, we can confirm that “S” stands for Secretary Kerry.
“Can we pencil this in, pls, pending S travel? (Hunter knows that with travel, plans could change.) It’ll be an hour somewhere in the 5-730 window, depending on what works best for S,” Wade explained.
The discovery of the email comes as Hunter is still being questioned by federal investigators about possible FARA violations during his father’s time as vice president and in the years after the Obama administration. Hunter engaged in numerous international commercial transactions throughout the Obama administration, and it’s likely that he’ll be questioned about whether he asked for concessions on behalf of foreign principals in conversations with government representatives.
To reduce the influence of foreign disinformation in the US, Congress passed the FARA. It mandates “certain agents of foreign principals who are engaged in political activities or other activities specified under the statute” to report their activities on a regular basis to the Justice Department. In relation to the work, they must also produce receipts and disbursements.
Several emails examined months later, in the days leading up to Kerry’s scheduled attendance, reveal Hunter, his office assistant, and Kerry assistants organizing the details of the class’s trip to the State Department.
Wade received an email from Kate Dodge, Rosemont Seneca’s office manager, on March 14 with the subject line, “I am checking in per Hunter’s request to see if everything is set for Tuesday’s class with Secretary Kerry.”
Afterwards, Dodge sent Hunter a personalized email in which she was informed by Kerry’s scheduler that there is “about a 70% chance that the Secretary will have to travel Monday or Tuesday (in spite of what David said)” but that they would “remain flexible” and that, in the event that Kerry couldn’t attend, “Wade will provide an interesting and knowledgeable person as backup.”
Kerry was able to participate in the class following his meeting at the White House, and there would be 14 graduate students in the session, according to communication Dodge received a day before the scheduled meeting. Kerry needed to attend an appointment at the Pentagon that evening, according to a separate message from a State Department official, but he could still spend 30 to 45 minutes in class.
Dodge and Hunter sent an email on March 17, 2014, and it contains a syllabus material that Hunter would be utilizing for the session with Kerry.
According to the school’s student newspaper, Hunter Biden assisted in instructing a class at Georgetown’s Master of Science in Foreign Service called “The Art of Advocacy: Inside and Outside of Government.”
The newspaper stated in October 2014 that Hunter Biden had instructed the course in the spring semesters of 2012 and 2013. In the 2014–2015 academic years, it was once more listed as a course option, but the university’s director of media relations informed the magazine that they would not have had the time to teach the course that year.
Hunter and Archer were communicating about Burisma in the weeks leading up to the lesson with Kerry and following the class.
In advance of Hunter’s journey to New York City the next day to meet with him, Archer informed Hunter on the day of the class that he would send a briefing on Burisma. It’s unclear if Kerry was aware of Hunter and Archer’s discussions concerning Burisma in March 2014 or in the days that followed the class.
Chris Heinz, Kerry’s stepson, was at the time a business associate of Hunter and Archer, although he reportedly broke relations with the company later that year. And a spokeswoman claimed that Mr. Heinz’s decision to discontinue his commercial links with Mr. Archer and Mr. Biden was significantly influenced by their positions on the Burisma board.
Over the following year after the pair joined the Burisma board, he continued to be cordial with them in emails.
The DC Daily Journal will keep you updated any any information on the Hunter Biden nvestigations that are ongoing.
