Gold Star Father Arrested For Confronting Biden
By Victor Winston,
updated on March 9, 2024
During a defining moment meant to underscore the nation's progress and security, an unexpected voice rose above the political rhetoric. Steve Nikoui, a Gold Star father, made headlines during President Joe Biden's State of the Union address when he was arrested for vocalizing his grief and dissent.
According to Western Journal, his protest centered on the loss of his son, Marine Lance Cpl. Kareem Nikoui, and other U.S. troops during a tumultuous withdrawal from Afghanistan, challenging the president's narrative on American safety.
Steve Nikoui's confrontation was a poignant reminder of the personal sacrifices behind military service, resonating far beyond the walls of the Capitol. Invited by Republican Florida Representative Brian Mast, Nikoui's emotional outburst was not just a disruption but a father's heartrending tribute to his fallen son and his comrades.
The Capitol Police, upholding the law that prohibits demonstrating in Congressional Buildings, apprehended Nikoui after he failed to heed requests to cease his protest. They cited his actions as illegal but essential to grasp is the depth of grief and frustration that drove him to speak out in such a highly formalized space.
Public Outrage and Support Illuminate a Father's Grief
Representative Brian Mast quickly took to social media platforms to decry the arrest, emphasizing that Nikoui's protest was a cry for acknowledgment of the sacrifices made at Abbey Gate. His sentiment was echoed across the digital sphere, where individuals and notable figures like director Robby Starbuck voiced their solidarity with the bereaved father. This wave of support underscored a collective desire for recognition and respect for the troops who lost their lives under tragic circumstances.
After his release, Nikoui was required to settle a $50 fine for the misdemeanor charge of "crowding, obstructing, or incommoding." Yet, it was the reception that followed—characterized by immense support from fellow Gold Star families—that truly marked the episode. They welcomed him not as a protester but as a hero, highlighting a shared sense of loss and solidarity among those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
Matthew Foldi of The Spectator captured the heart of the matter, reporting on the hero's welcome Nikoui received. This acknowledgment from peers served as a poignant testament to the depth of communal bonds forged through shared grief.
A Discussion Reignited on National Security and Sacrifice
Amidst the solemn proceedings of the State of the Union address, President Biden declared, "America is safer today than when I took office." This assertion, aimed at illustrating national progress, instead became a catalyst for protest from Steve Nikoui. His shouts of “Abbey Gate” and “United States Marines” reflected a profound disagreement rooted in personal loss, challenging the narrative of safety with the reality of his son's sacrifice.
The juxtaposition of a father's outcry against the backdrop of a formal political discourse sheds light on the ongoing debate about the nature of safety and the cost at which it comes. The botched withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021, which claimed the lives of U.S. troops including Lance Cpl. Kareem Nikoui remains a subject of contention and sorrow.
In a statement, the Capitol Police succinctly noted the illegality of demonstrating within Congressional Buildings but failed to capture the depth of despair and determination that propelled Nikoui's protest. Likewise, Rep. Brian Mast's commentary on social media underscored the lingering dissatisfaction and demand for recognition among those who feel their losses have been sidelined or misunderstood by the political narrative.
Conclusion
As the country continues to navigate the complexities of foreign policy and national security, instances like Nikoui's protest serve as raw, unfiltered reminders of the human cost of such endeavors. The discourse around the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan and the broader implications for military families and national security remains fraught with emotion and divergent perspectives.
Steve Nikoui's arrest and subsequent reaction from the public and fellow Gold Star families encapsulate a broader dialogue on recognition, remembrance, and respect.
While the physical charges against him were minimal, the emotional and symbolic weight of his protest resonates deeply within the collective American consciousness, prompting a reevaluation of what it means to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

France Picking a Fight with Russia:
On Friday, March 8, French Foreign Minister Stephane Sejourne arrived in Lithuania to meet with his Baltic counterparts and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.
"It is not for Russia to tell us how we should help Ukraine in the coming months or years. So, we decide it among us," the French minister emphasized after the meeting.
France is assembling an alliance of countries that are open to sending Western troops to Ukraine.
So we decide it among us," the French minister emphasized after the meeting.
According to Politico, the ministers discussed the possibility of foreign troops helping to clear Ukrainian territory of mines. Sejourne has repeatedly referred to demining operations as a "possibility," noting that this could mean the presence of certain personnel in Ukraine, but not participation in the war.
Macron's idea of troops in Ukraine
In late February, French President Emmanuel Macron did not rule out sending Western troops to help Ukraine. The main problem, he said, is that there is currently no consensus in NATO on this issue.
A few days ago, the French president explained the conditions under which he is ready to send French troops to Ukraine.
Several NATO countries opposed sending troops to Ukraine, including Germany, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Poland, Spain, and Italy. But some countries are ready to consider such a possibility, such as Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.
Canada, which is also a NATO member, has stated that it is ready to send troops to Ukraine, but only to train Ukrainian defenders in areas far from the front.

WWE Wrestler, Congressional Hopeful Dan Rodimer Arrested for Murder
In a harrowing turn of events, former WWE wrestler and GOP Congressional candidate Dan Rodimer finds himself at the heart of a murder investigation.
According to the Daily Mail, the investigation stems from the death of Christopher Tapp during a Halloween party confrontation over an alleged drug offer to Rodimer's stepdaughter.
On October 29, 2023, Christopher Tapp experienced a devastating turn of events at a grand Halloween party held at Resorts World Las Vegas. He was involved in a fatal confrontation while attending the event, where he was dressed as 'Ken' from the Barbie movie.
The altercation was with Rodimer, a man who had previously served 20 years in prison for a crime he was later found not to have committed. The conflict reportedly began after Tapp was accused of offering cocaine to Rodimer's stepdaughter, leading to a tragic outcome for Tapp.
A Life Marked by Injustice
Christopher Tapp's narrative is one marked by grave injustice, having been wrongfully convicted in 1996 for a murder he didn't commit. It wasn't until 2019 that he was fully exonerated, thanks to conclusive DNA evidence. Yet, this newfound freedom was cut short in 2023 when an altercation at a Halloween party resulted in his untimely death.
Witnesses at the scene reported hearing Rodimer threaten Tapp, stating, "If you ever talk to my daughter again, I'll kill you." The confrontation escalated rapidly, culminating in Tapp's death from blunt force trauma, as confirmed by an autopsy. This grim outcome shifted the investigation, initially deemed accidental, to a classified homicide.
Unraveling the Truth
Amidst the chaos of the party and the subsequent investigation, a series of text messages between Rodimer and his estranged wife provided chilling insight into the night's events.
"I watched you murder somebody like let that sink in you psychopath," she messaged him, painting a damning picture of Rodimer's actions that night.
Following the incident, Rodimer surrendered himself to authorities, facing a bail set at $200,000. His court date, scheduled for April 10, looms on the horizon as both the public and Tapp's family await justice for the tragic loss.
The Glare of Public Life
Dan Rodimer's transition from the wrestling ring to political ambition, including a failed congressional campaign endorsed by Donald Trump, has been marked by controversy.
The fatal altercation at a Halloween party adds a dark chapter to his story, overshadowing his previous endeavors in the public eye. With his political career and personal life in turmoil, the events of October 29 have cast a long shadow over Rodimer's future.
Lessons to Learn from This Tragedy
In the aftermath of such a tragic event, it's crucial to reflect on the lessons that can be gleaned to prevent future tragedies. While no measure can guarantee absolute safety, certain precautions can minimize risks.
1. Be mindful of the company you keep, especially in environments known for heightened emotions or substance use.
2. In situations of conflict, seeking help or removing yourself from the scenario can be a life-saving decision.
3. Always report suspicious behavior or threats to authorities to prevent escalation. However, it's essential to remember that despite taking all precautions, crime can strike anyone, and victim-blaming only exacerbates the tragedy.
Why This Story Matters
This story serves as a stark reminder of how quickly situations can escalate into violence, especially when drugs and alcohol are involved. It underscores the importance of community awareness and the need for quick and decisive action in the face of potential danger.
The tragic end of Christopher Tapp, a man who had already suffered immensely at the hands of injustice, resonates deeply within our collective conscience, urging us to advocate for safer, more empathetic communities.
In conclusion, the tragic Halloween party incident, resulting in Christopher Tapp's death and implicating Dan Rodimer, underscores the dire consequences of unchecked aggression and poor judgment.
It reminds us of the long shadows cast by past injustices and the precarious nature of freedom and reputation. As this story unfolds, the community and its leaders must reflect on the lessons learned and the steps necessary to prevent similar tragedies in the future.

Ted Cruz dropped the gloves with school administrators after a video leaked of one disgusting incident:
Parents have awakened to the fact that government schools are not safe.
Radical teachers and administrators have completely lost their minds.
And Ted Cruz dropped the gloves with school administrators after a video leaked of one disgusting incident.
Distance learning during the pandemic exposed the radical nonsense kids were being taught by “woke” teachers.
Parents are much more vigilant about the craziness going on in the classroom.
But there are still episodes from schools that are too insane to believe.
For instance, a school in Oklahoma held a fundraiser where students were encouraged to lick feet.
“Child abuse”
Upon seeing the disturbing video, Texas Senator Ted Cruz responded, “This is child abuse.”

Prior to the blowback, the Deer Creek School District said in a statement, “Many dedicated students gave generously of their personal time to achieve this momentous accomplishment, which will serve communities beyond the boundaries of Deer Creek. We would like to thank all of the patrons, businesses, and sponsors who contributed to the success of this year’s Wonderful Week of Fundraising.”
However, after the story went viral, the administrators went into CYA mode.
Officials told the New York Post, “There is a video circulating on social media of one of the activities that involve students only during this assembly that has, unfortunately, gained national attention. We want to stress to our community that much of the information accompanying this video is inaccurate…However, through this specific game, we failed to uphold the dignity of our students and the proud image of our community. We have a responsibility to protect our Antlers and showcase them in a positive light. In regards to this one particular activity, we fell short and for that we greatly apologize…Thank you for standing with us and helping us to weather this storm and move forward together.”
Under investigation
The district made sure to note that no employees took part in the incident, but they certainly allowed it to happen.
Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters commented, “This is disgusting. We are cleaning up this filth in Oklahoma schools. Our agency is investigating.”
The toe-licking challenge was part of a fundraiser during the “Clash of the Classes” between high schoolers from 9th to 12th grade.
The week of fundraising netted $152,830.38 for a local business called Not Your Average Joe Coffee that was created to “inspire our community by including students and adults with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities,” per the business’ website.
Regardless of the cause, subjecting students to licking toes is completely unacceptable.

Dr. Mark TROZZI:
Ontario Reopening Act - Lockdowns- Shutting down small business.
In 2020, Adam Skelly was one of the first people in Canada or the world to stand against the medical deception and tyranny of the covid-19 agenda. This quite restaurant owner, husband and father became the tip of a spear against authoritarianism, lawlessness and human rights violations.
We know the arch-criminals of covid, are plotting against us still. The WHO’s Pandemic Preparedness Treaty and IHR amendments; mRNA factories being built all around the world; continued gain of function research; and the WEF telegraphing “disease X” are clear evidence of this.
Adam Skelly is still the tip of a vital spear in Ontario and Canada; the tip of this spear is placed against the heart of a criminal conspiracy and abuse of power that has hurt all of us, left many injured, and cost others their lives.
If Adam and his team succeed, as they should, in their legal challenge against the province of Ontario, the attorney general, and public health for their abuse of us all using the “re-opening act”; then all of us and our children are safer moving forward. Please grab onto this spear and put your weight into it.
Adam Skelly is a humble man who choose to stand up for what is right. Though he has risked by far the most in this situation; it is everyone of us who stand to be either liberated or trampled on depending on the outcome.
Please support Adam Skelly’s fight for all of us in whatever way you can. Below is an important message from all of us at Take Action Canada.
The stakes are high and we need your financial support for a legal challenge against the province of Ontario, the Attorney General, and Public Health for instituting the Re-Opening Ontario Act Regulation 82/20 during Covid.
This Orwellian regulation provided the government with broad power to shut down businesses and limit organized events and gatherings. Since the height of the “medical emergency”, the data has demonstrated that these lockdown provisions destroyed small businesses, families, mental health, and the economy. It became a perfect example of the “cure” being worse than the disease. This is a fact that has been corroborated by experts with data now that enough time has passed to reflect.
You may remember the plight of Adam Skelly. He was a conscientious objector who put himself, his family, and his business all on the line, on our behalf, to fight against the lockdown. In November 2020, when Regulation 82/20 was starting to be enforced, Adam decided to defy the government at great personal and financial risk and announced that he was keeping his small restaurant open for business. Adamson BBQ remained open and like-minded people came from all over to show their support. Adam’s defiance of the regulation became a rallying cry for many individuals and small businesses. The media portrayed Adam as irresponsible and a criminal for defying orders.
The police fined him many times, but he continued to remain open. When the fines didn’t work, the police changed his locks in the middle of the night in order to lock him out of his business. With everything to lose, Adam broke into his own restaurant and reopened. Adam’s defiance was receiving national press so the now disgraced Major Tory and the Toronto Police decided to make an example of him to send a message to all small businesses in the province. In a sinister example of overkill, the police sent approximately 250 police officers, horses, and cruisers to his restaurant to arrest him. The images from that evening were plastered all over social media and the mainstream media. Adam never recovered from the loss.
Adam Skelly’s challenges may be the impetus for this lawsuit, but he is taking it forward courageously on all of our behalf and with the support of the Concerned Constituent of Canada (CCCan).
There are over 400,000 small businesses (categorized as 1 – 99 employees) in Ontario.
According to Statistics Canada, 19.8% of all small businesses with 1-19 employees shut down during the lockdowns.
13.4% of small businesses with 20-99 employees were lost.
These shutdowns didn’t just affect the business owners. The closing of each business creates cascading ramifications for their employees’ and suppliers’ livelihoods. Many survived on government handouts, but the bill has come due.
Bankruptcies are on a 10-year high, up 55% year over year.
It is estimated that small businesses are carrying an average of $190,000 in Covid debt with another 18.5% of small businesses considering declaring bankruptcy now that the government programs have subsided. The CERB program just kicked the can down the road.
We need to seize this opportunity to ensure that this does not happen again. That the next time, and there will be a next time, governmental powers will be limited, and the standard of proof will be higher.
The time is now. Please defend our future by donating to support this important legal challenge by e-transfer to donations@takeactioncanada.ca or with a debit/credit card.

“I think Canadians will be shocked to learn about the rushed changes to safety standards for the Covid Vaccines which removed the requirement for the Covid Vaccines to be either ’safe or effective.'”
Mr. Rath added that the defendants used “coercion” to make the public take the vaccines, including “by stripping their rights from them.” - More info

Meanwhile, hundreds more lawsuits are occurring across the country. In 2022, Columbia agreed to a $12.5 million settlement, to cover reimbursement for lack of access to the school's libraries, gyms and other campus assets. Cornell settled in September for $3 million. In cross-examination, Susan Rowe who is vice president of people and strategy said it had not been considered that vaccinations given earlier in 2021 could have waned by the time the policy was put in place.

“The American people deserve justice for the infringement on their personal medical freedom and those medically harmed deserve restitution. This legislation represents a critical milestone in rectifying these injustices and paving the way for a more accountable future.” - More info

Liz Cheney, Jan. 6 Committee suppressed key evidence of Trump pushing for 10,000 National Guard troops to protect Capitol: Report
Former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) and the January 6 Committee suppressed key evidence that former President Donald Trump pushed for 10,000 National Guard troops to protect the U.S. Capitol building ahead of the riots, according to a report.
Cheney and the Democratic-led House Select Committee on January 6 contended that there was "no evidence" to support Trump officials' claims the White House had pressed for 10,000 National Guard troops ahead of the protests in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 6, 2021.
However, a transcribed interview conducted by the committee from January 2022 appears to show evidence that Trump urged Democrat leadership to bring in thousands of National Guard troops to prevent any widespread violence on Jan. 6, according to a new report from The Federalist.
Then-Deputy Chief of Staff Anthony Ornato was interviewed by the committee on Jan. 28, 2022. The transcripts show that he told Cheney and other investigators that he overheard White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows urge Democrat D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser to request as many National Guard troops as she needed to protect the city before the demonstrations centered around the results of the 2020 presidential election.
Ornato testified that Meadows "wanted to know if she need[ed] any more guardsmen."
"And I remember the number 10,000 coming up of, you know, 'The president wants to make sure that you have enough.' You know, 'He is willing to ask for 10,000.' I remember that number," Ornato told the January 6 Committee. "Now that you said it, it reminded me of it. And that she was all set. She had, I think it was like 350 or so for intersection control, and those types of things not in the law enforcement capacity at the time."
Mollie Ziegler Hemingway wrote, "Not only did the committee not accurately characterize the interview, they suppressed the transcript from public review. On top of that, committee allies began publishing critical stories and even conspiracy theories about Ornato ahead of follow-up interviews with him. Ornato was a career Secret Service official who had been detailed to the security position in the White House."
Republican Rep. Barry Loudermilk – chairman of the Committee on House Administration's Subcommittee on Oversight – said in a statement on Friday, "The former J6 Select Committee apparently withheld Mr. Ornato’s critical witness testimony from the American people because it contradicted their pre-determined narrative."
"Mr. Ornato's testimony proves what Mr. Meadows has said all along, President Trump did in fact offer 10,000 National Guard troops to secure the U.S. Capitol, which was turned down," Loudermilk noted.
"This is just one example of important information the former Select Committee hid from the public because it contradicted what they wanted the American people to believe," he continued. "And this is exactly why my investigation is committed to uncovering all the facts, no matter the outcome."
Also, in Ornato's testimony, he explained how Trump's White House was frustrated with the response of a quick reaction force requested from the Department of Defense.
As the protests escalated into chaos, Meadows called on Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller to deploy the quick reaction force.
"So, then I remember the chief saying, 'Hey, I'm calling Secretary of Defense to get that QRF in here,'" Ornato told the committee. "And then I remember the chief telling Miller, 'Get them in here, get them in here to secure the Capitol now.' And that's where I remember the National Guard being, you know, ordered by the chief."
According to Ornato's testimony, Meadows had been constantly inquiring about when the QRF would arrive to secure the Capitol.
"Every time [Meadows] would ask, ‘What’s taking so long?’ It would be, like, you know, ‘This isn’t just start the car and we’re there. We have to muster them up, we have to’ — so it was constant excuses coming of — not excuses, but what they were actually doing to get them there," Ornato testified.
