Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake won a legal victory Friday when the judge overseeing her legal challenge of November’s election granted her team access to review ballots cast.
Superior Court Judge Peter Thompson ordered Maricopa County to grant Lake’s lawyers access to inspect 50 randomly selected “ballot-on-demand” printed ballots cast on Election Day, 50 randomly selected early ballots cast in the race, and 50 randomly selected ballots that were marked spoiled on Election Day. The inspection will take place on Tuesday.
Lake is not stopping at proving that Arizona’s election was faulty, her lawsuit asks for a declaration that she won the gubernatorial race or a redo of the election in Maricopa County. Already declared in court is a number of ballots, over 20,000, that are in question. Since Lake was said to have been defeated by 17,000 votes, the fate of those votes would put her on top if they were found to be erroneous.

An alleged would-be carjacker got the tables violently turned on him in Manhattan last week, as the individual the suspect approached turned out to be a federal Drug Enforcement Agency veteran who wasn't having a bit of it.
What are the details?
The DEA agent had finished a shift and was in his government-issued Jeep at a red light at 14th Street and Ninth Avenue just after midnight Dec. 9 when Zachary Bell approached, authorities told the New York Post.
“Get the f*** out of the car,” Bell, 32, screamed at the agent, the paper said, citing a criminal complaint filed in Manhattan Federal Court.
Prosecutors said Bell then reached toward his waistband as if he had a gun, the Post reported.
But the agent — who's been with the DEA for seven years and is assigned to the New York Drug Enforcement Task Force, the paper said — flipped the script in hurry.
The agent activated the vehicle’s police lights, pulled out his gun, hit Bell in the face, tackled him to the ground, handcuffed him, and called police, the Post said, citing court papers.

Canadians’ Views Shifting on Use of Emergencies Act, With More Now Opposed: Poll
A majority of Canadians now oppose the federal government’s use of the Emergencies Act in February to counteract the Freedom Convoy protests, according to a recent poll.
Mainstreet Research polled over 1,260 Canadians over the age of 18 between Dec. 6 and Dec. 8 on their political views. One question asked, “Has your mind changed on whether the prime minister was right/wrong to invoke the Act?”
Of those who participated in the poll, which was conducted for iPolitics, 39 percent said they opposed Ottawa’s invocation of the Emergencies Act in February and still do now, while 16 percent said they supported the act at the time and are now against its use.
Forty percent of individuals surveyed said they continue to support the government’s use of the act and five percent said they were originally opposed to it but are now in support.
Researchers also categorized the respondents by age. They found that:
1. 15 percent of Canadians between the ages of 18 and 34 were supportive of the Emergencies Act when invoked but are now opposed, while 51 percent of people in that age group have opposed its use all along.
2. Twenty-two percent of Canadians aged 65 years and older have changed their minds from supporting the act to now opposing it. However, a slight majority (51 percent) of Canadians in the same age range support the government’s use of emergency powers against the Freedom Convoy, with 8 percent saying they’ve changed their mind to support it.
3. The poll also found that a small majority of Canadians between the ages of 50 and 64 are now opposed to the act’s use, with 32 percent opposing it all along and 19 percent changing their minds after originally supporting it.
Public Inquiry
The polling results come about two weeks after the Public Order Emergency Commission concluded the public hearings segment of its inquiry into the government’s use of the Emergencies Act.
In total, the commission heard from over 75 witnesses, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and a number of high-profile members of his cabinet, as well as Canadian intelligence officers and Freedom Convoy organizers.
In its recent poll, Mainstreet Research also asked participants how closely they followed the commission’s proceedings.
· Forty-two percent said they followed the inquiry on the news, while
· 20 percent said they watched the commission’s proceedings regularly and
· 15 percent followed it on social media.
· Twenty-three percent of individuals said they hadn’t paid any attention to the public inquiry.
The commission will table its final report on the government’s use of the Emergencies Act in both the House of Commons and Senate by Feb. 20, 2023.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is coming off a landslide re-election win.
Many believe DeSantis is also plotting a 2024 Presidential campaign.

Law enforcement found Total Military Management President Kent Stermon deadin his car.
Stermon donated $140,000 to Florida campaigns since 2017 including $50,000 to Governor DeSantis, and his death is now under investigation.
“This investigation remains ongoing at this time and will continue until its completion,” Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters said in an interview with POLITICO.
However, police do not suspect foul play.

· According to multiple sources, Kent Stermon was found dead in his car at the Mayport Post Office in Atlantic Beach on Thursday night. He was 50 years old.
· Police said foul play is not suspected in the death.
“The Governor and First Lady were shocked and saddened to hear of Kent’s passing, and their prayers (and our entire office’s prayers) are with his family during this difficult time,” a statement from DeSantis’ office read, adding that “we have no knowledge” of the investigation.
Stermon served as a DeSantis ally and donor.
DeSantis once even lived in a condo owned by one of Stermon’s companies when redistricting drew DeSantis out of his Congressional seat.
He needed to find a residence after dropping out of the 2016 Senate race and Florida’s new Congressional map eliminated his old district.
And DeSantis eventually settled in a different district and won re-election to Congress and began his ascent in Republican politics.
After defeating Democrat Andrew Gillum in the Florida Gubernatorial Election DeSantis nominated Stermon to serve on the state university Board of Governors in 2019.
The university released a statement expressing shock at Stermon’s death and sympathy for his family.
“We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Governor Kent Stermon,” Board of Governors members’ statement read. “For the last three years, Kent has served on this board with distinction. He has been a champion of higher education and student success in Floridaand a long-time supporter of the University of North Florida in many ways throughout the years. The Board of Governors sends its heartfelt condolences to Kent’s family during this difficult time.”

December 19, 2022 – As Christmas nears, Canadians have more holiday jeers than holiday cheers for the official leader of the opposition.
A new study from the non-profit Angus Reid Institute finds Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre provoking more reaction from his predecessors, but perhaps not in the way he may want.
Asked how they view Poilievre, Canadians are much more likely to actually have an opinion of him at this point in his tenure compared to past CPC leaders. Early term uncertainty, however, has mostly been replaced with acrimony. One-in-three (33%) view Poilievre favorably, while more than half (54%) hold a negative view. These levels of unfavorable sentiment are much higher than those of previous leaders Andrew Scheer, Erin O’Toole, and Stephen Harper at the beginning of their own leadership ventures.
Of those who have occupied Stornoway in the 21st century, only Harper was met with majority positive sentiment after taking the job.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, meanwhile, enjoys a five-point boost in his approval compared to summer levels. He’s viewed positively by more than two-in-five (43%). Trudeau appeared at public hearings in November to defend his February decision to invoke the Emergencies Act in response to deeply unpopular “freedom convoy” protests.
An emerging gender divide is unmistakable:
Poilievre’s favorability is nearly twice as high among men (44%) as women (23%), while the inverse, though not as pronounced, is true of Trudeau (35% among men, 50% among women).
Both men will have plenty of opportunity to tackle big issues in 2023 and earn more confidence among the population. Canadians head into a new year focused on:
· crumbling health care infrastructure and
· overwhelming cost of living concerns.
These two issues rank atop the list of priorities for every region of the country.

· Trudeau has seen his favorability improve over the year among 18- to 34-year-olds. Two-in-five (39%) men that age, and half (50%) of women, view him favorably.
· Approaching half of constituents view NDP leader Jagmeet Singh (46%) and Bloc Québécois leader Yves-François Blanchet (47%, Quebec only) favorably.
· More than half in Alberta (53%) and Saskatchewan (57%) view Poilievre favorably, the only two provinces where that’s the case. Quebecers hold the most unfavorable views, with two-thirds (64%) saying they have negative impressions of Poilievre.

Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer’s wife Linda Kramer dies at 55 July 2, 2022
#1. Linda Gail Kramer, who was described by the rock star as the ‘love of his life,’ died on June 22.
According to an obituary posted in the Boston Herald, the 72-year-old drummer and his wife were ‘inseparable’ said family and friends. It also added she ‘loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews.’
Joey’s reps also confirmed the sad news to several news outlets, but no cause of death has been released.
#2. Bruno Falcon, the trailblazing hip-hop dancer, and choreographer known as “Pop N Taco,” died Saturday at his Long Beach, California home. He was 58.
The pop-and-lock legend of the early ’80s cult film “Breakin’ ” passed away of natural causes, his sister Diana Wolgamott confirmed to local news outlets. No official cause of death has been confirmed but she said she believes he might have died of a heart attack.

Murder at Sacred Heart Medical Center:
Hertzler said that while previously, the doctors had told them that “blood clots are very rare” in a case like Alexander’s, after he got a blood clot, they said, “Well, this happens. But…it’s something a blood thinner can fix.”
“And the blood thinners — they had him on the highest dose they could give an infant. And it did nothing. [The clot] just kept growing really fast,” she went on.
Hertzler believes that if the clot had been “normal,” then blood thinners would have helped dissolve it. She said that “given our understanding” of the findings of abnormal clots in the vaxxed deceased, “we know that it’s not a normal blood clot.”
Bly explained in a fundraiser for Alexander that the clot grew to be “enormous,” and “eventually stretched from his left knee, all the way to his heart.”

I wonder if any of you are familiar with radionics or the Rife Machine. A person I know bought one and raves about how healthy and "alive" he has become.
Decades ago, I read about the Hieronymus machine which works on the same principle (picking up the electromagnetic "fingerprint" of something). It was of interest to Dow Chemicals as an alternative to insecticides. The University of New Brunswick was interested in it as a way to get rid of the spruce budworm, by making them worms vibrate with the frequency of a poison. The Hieronymus machine did not require each tree to be wired, but rather it broadcast the frequency of the poison on top of the frequency of the budworm - the same way AM radio broadcasts a carrier wave even if there is no sound (when the announcer stops talking).
However, this research was totally shutdown by federal security agents in both countries when it was realized how bad actors could target the frequencies of any person or persons with any of many harmful frequencies. A newsman friend of mine disappeared after trying to investigate further. I'm surprised to see the science of radionics being used now even in this limited personal way, but I guess the powers that be are no longer concerned about the top-secret research getting out, and as long as the medical authorities can keep it labelled as "fringe" it won't threaten the drug companies.
