Situation Update, Nov 30, 2022 - China wages WAR on its own citizens while preparing for war against America:

A growing portion of the Chinese people, who are usually docile and deferential to the authoritarian Communist rulers there, are fed up with nearly two years’ worth of "Zero COVID" policy lockdowns, and they are lashing out.

Protests broke out in earnest last week following mass demonstrations on Friday in Urumqi, which is the capital of Xinjiang, after a fire killed dozens of residents trapped inside the building thanks to a lockdown that has lasted now for more than 100 days. While Chinese officials say around 10 people were killed, citizens are reporting deaths numbering as high as 40.

Since the deadly fire, there have been 43 public protests in 22 different cities throughout China.

In light of recent protests that officials in Beijing considered to be the largest display of civil disobedience they have seen in years, law enforcement has begun to track down and arrest participants. [Brighteon Media]


We now euthanize the poor in Canada:

We have no up-to-date stats, but it's bound to be far worse. By 2019 extreme global poverty had been reduced by half according to Prof. Hans Rosling who spent the better part of his life studying global trends. Now kids end up killing themselves if someone else or the healthcare system doesn't do it for them. Or human traffickers don't "save" their lives.

The association representing the lead psychiatrists at Canada’s 17 medical schools is calling on the federal government to delay the expansion of assisted dying to people with mental illness, joining an increasingly vocal group of doctors who say proper safeguards are not yet in place.

A statement to be released today by the Association of Chairs of Psychiatry in Canada says more time is needed:

  • · to develop high-quality standards of care,

  • · doctor training and expert consensus,

before allowing Canadians to apply for a medically assisted death with mental illness as their sole condition.


In mid-March, Canada will become one of only a few countries that allows euthanasia for mental disorders – a step that will make the country’s assisted dying legislation among the most liberal in the world.

Trudeau says he doesn’t want fight with Alberta on Sovereignty Act:

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says he doesn’t want a fight with Alberta over its sovereignty act – but he isn’t ruling out options for dealing with it. The legislation, tabled by Alberta Premier Danielle Smith, would give the province’s cabinet the ability to rewrite laws and order:

  • · police,

  • · cities and

  • · universities

to disregard federal legislation that the Alberta government deems unconstitutional or harmful to the province.

Is Trudeau preparing for a challenge against the Alberta Sovereignty Act?

Smith introduced the Sovereignty Within a United Canada Act on Tuesday with the goal of empowering Alberta to mix [Re-Write] federal legislation that is harmful to their province, but the following day Trudeau said he’s taking nothingoff the table when it comes to potentially confronting the issue.


Meanwhile, a former CRTC vice-chair is criticizing a bid by Global News to gain access to secure payroll rebates via tax measures, warning that it could make media companies dependent on the Liberal government remaining in power.

Also, the Canadian Taxpayers Federation is accusing the federal government of preferential treatment for Quebec when it comes to Justin Trudeau’s federally-mandated carbon taxes.

OK - I'm not here to argue against the idea of Santa Claus, other than to say it was a Protestant Reformation idea to mock St. Nicholas along with all the other Roman Catholic saints. Kinda back-fired on them a few centuries later.


I just want to say that if you do have Santa at your church (and explain that he's just a fun idea), please explain the big difference between singing Here Comes Santa Claus and Santa Claus Is Coming to Town. The former offers a blessing. The latter threatens a curse. And yes, Father Christmas is getting darker and darker every year, with downright evil processions in some European countries.
