FBI Confirms Existence of File Allegedly Linking Joe Biden to $5M Bribery Scheme:
On Wednesday, James Comer (R) KY, House Oversight Committee Chair, revealed that the FBI confirmed the existence of an informant file, that the bureau refuses to provide Congress. The file allegedly links President Joe Biden to a $5 million bribery scheme, a confirmation that the Justice Department previously did not deny,
According to News Nation, FBI Director Christopher Wray confirmed the existence of the subpoenaed document to Comer. The FD-1023 form, alleges, then-Vice President Joe Biden, engaged in a criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national. Hoping to connect the dots between this allegation and the Biden family bank records already received, Comer has requested the file.
On Wednesday, Wray and Comer, met in a scheduled phone meeting, with Sen. Chuck Grassley (R) IA who was also on the call. At that time, the bureau chief confirmed the subpoenaed file’s existence. Grassley, who has been an integral part of these investigations, in a statement previously had said-
“The FBI has continued to tie itself in knots to ignore a legitimate subpoena from Congress, which has a constitutional duty of oversight. The Bureau’s developed a serious reputation problem through its spate of failures and overreach, and leadership is doing it no favors by attempting to stiff-arm Congress. The FBI knows exactly what document Chairman Comer and I are seeking, and if they know us at all, they know we will get it, one way or another. If FBI leadership truly cares about protecting the agency’s reputation, they’d cooperate. These needless delays only harm the Bureau,” -Sen. Chuck Grassley (R) IA
So far, in Bank records obtained by the Congressional Oversight Committee, Breitbart reported that-
“Earlier this month - In total, Biden family members and business associates designed a web of over 20 companies, many of which were formed during Joe Biden’s vice presidency, the committee revealed. In total, the Biden family, business associates, and companies received over $10 million from foreign nationals’ companies, the committee found.” …

“Comer’s probe into the Biden family found that the Biden family business over the course of several years received at least $10 million from business schemes in Romania and China. A total of nine Biden family members received payments from the family foreign business ventures, including two of Joe Biden’s grandchildren, he revealed in May.” -Breitbart
The revelation of these funds received, for whatever reason, are in direct contradiction of President Joe Biden’s claims that his family received no money from China. The verified discovery, and now the alleged existence of the FD-1023 form, also raise questions about what the Biden family provided in terms of services or products for the monies they received. These questions require answers because American deserved the truth.
Reportedly, Comer doubled down on his threat to hold Wray in contempt of Congress, because Comer said the FBI still refuses to provide the subpoenaed, unclassified file to Congress. The FBI reportedly said that Comer could view the document at the FBI’s headquarters, in direct defiance of congressional oversight, a power directly established under the U.S. Constitution.
Comer said in a statement.
“Today, FBI Director Wray confirmed the existence of the FD-1023 form alleging then-Vice President Biden engaged in a criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national,”… “However, Director Wray did not commit to producing the documents subpoenaed by the House Oversight Committee.”
“While Director Wray, after a month of refusing to even acknowledge that the form existed, has offered to allow us to see the documents in person at FBI headquarters, we have been clear that anything short of producing these documents to the House Oversight Committee is not in compliance with the subpoena,”…adding… “If the FBI fails to hand over the FD-1023 form as required by the subpoena, the House Oversight Committee will begin contempt of Congress proceedings.” -James Comer (R) KY, House Oversight Committee Chair
Additionally, backing up the committee, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) warned Wray that if he failed to provide the file, he would begin the process to hold Wray in contempt of Congress. Both, Comer and McCarthy are not backing down. It looks very much like Congress will indeed have to start contempt proceedings. The petulant Wray does not seem inclined to do his job and comply with the congressional request before him. He apparently views his position as that above Congress and prefers to directly oppose the people’s will in doing so. Stay tuned.

FBI Director Wray to Be Held In ContemptOf Congress By Republicans Over Biden Document:
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer is taking steps to hold FBI Director Christopher Wray in contempt. On Tuesday evening, the Bureau said that it remains committed to cooperating with Congress. However limiting access to the document, the statement indicated that it will provide access to the document-
"in a format and setting that maintains confidentiality and protects important security interests and the integrity of FBI investigations." -FBI Statement
The FBI document, subpoenaed, allegedly describes a criminal scheme involving then Vice-President Biden and a foreign national. It is also said to relate to the exchange of money for policy decisions. Reportedly, information contained in the document could possibly substantiate bank records already in the panels possession.
Specifically, the document is an FBI-generated FD-1023 form that Comer had subpoenaed earlier this month. The FBI did not turn it over, explaining a need to protect the Bureau's confidential human source program.
Giving Wray until Tuesday, May 30, to turn over the document, and after Comer had set the deadline, Wray reportedly set up a call with Comer for Wednesday, May 31. The FBI however, did notify the panel, that it would not provide the document to the committee by the Tuesday afternoon deadline.
In response, Comer said Tuesday-
"Americans deserve the truth, and the Oversight Committee will continue to demand transparency from this nation’s chief law enforcement agency." -James Comer (R) KY, House Oversight Committee Chairman
In their statement responding to the accusations, the FBI said that it-
"remains committed to cooperating with the Committee in good faith." …"In a letter to Chairman Comer earlier today, the FBI committed to providing access to information responsive to the Committee’s subpoena in a format and setting that maintains confidentiality and protects important security interests and the integrity of FBI investigations,"... "Last week, Director Wray scheduled a telephone call for tomorrow to provide additional details of the FBI’s extraordinary accommodation to satisfy the subpoena request." …adding… "Any discussion of escalation under these circumstances is unnecessary." -FBI Statement
The document in question was sought, after a whistleblower approached Comer and Sen. Chuck Grassley, (R) Iowa, alleging that the Justice Department and FBI were in possession of the supposed document, which reportedly would reveal "a precise description of how the alleged criminal scheme was employed as well as its purpose."
According to a report by Fox News, Grassley said-
"Chairman Comer and I have been more than patient with the FBI,"… "The bureau’s failure to comply with our constitutional oversight duty comes with consequences." … "I hope to hear a different tune from Director Wray tomorrow, but if not, Congress must defend its oversight prerogatives. The American people deserve an accountable government."

Comer and Grassley, according to the outlet, notified Wray and Attorney General, Merrick Garland this month about the "legally protected and highly credible unclassified whistleblower disclosures.” the back-and-forth dialogue ensued. Both Grassley and Comer said, that based on "the alleged specificity within the document, it would appear that the DOJ and the FBI have enough information to determine the truth and accuracy of the information contained within it." To which, the FBI said in a statement-
"The FBI’s mission is to protect the American people. Releasing confidential source information could potentially jeopardize investigations and put lives at risk.”… "The FBI remains committed to cooperating with Congress’s oversight requests on this matter and others as we always have." -FBI Statement
During this quest for the reported document, the White House maintains, that the president never spoke to his son, Hunter Biden, about his business dealings, and further, that the senior Biden was never involved in them. Officials also claim that the president has never discussed investigations into members of his family with the Justice Department. However, the information revealed continues to raise doubts, and in some cases directly opposes these claims.
Why the FBI and DOJ think that stonewalling Congress, in their pursuit of the facts, is beyond reason. It does, however, clearly demonstrate the highly political atmosphere plaguing both government investigative bodies. The evidence supporting the double standard by which both government entities are being run continues to build.
That this nation’s highest institutions of law enforcement are being run by highly obstructionist political directors is quite shocking. The American people, however, are not blind. The double standard, that currently exists, which does not support the rule of law embodied in the U.S. Constitution, is a tragedy of epic proportion. Little wonder, Congress has to work overtime to secure the truth. The FBI and DOJ need to be swept clean of these partisan leaders, who are at war with the American people, hiding what they know to be important in revealing the truth.

Two elderly pro-lifers were just brutally beaten by a pro-abortion radical. And the attackers are still at large. We’re taking urgent action.
The pro-lifers were peacefully offering literature and holding signs outside a Baltimore-area Planned Parenthood when they were savagely attacked – one beaten almost to death – by a violent abortion radical.
And the attacker allegedly told a Planned Parenthood volunteer to hold his drink so he could assault the men, and she did. This man must be captured before he actually does kill someone. And if Planned Parenthood staffers stood by and watched – rather than calling for help – they should be held accountable as well.
As authorities hunt for the assailant, the mainstream media, Maryland leadership, and the Biden Administration have been suspiciously quiet. How long before their silence encourages another similar attack?

MOSCOW, Aug 1 (Reuters) - Russia's former president dismissed a call by U.S. President Joe Biden on Monday to press on with talks on a new nuclear arms treaty, saying the appeal was out of place in a changed world.
Dmitry Medvedev, now deputy head of Russia's Security Council, said he had told Washington repeatedly that major issues, like a framework to replace the New START treaty, could not be done without Russian involvement.
Medvedev, writing on his Telegram channel, said Biden had "reluctantly spat out" the call for new talks, referring to Soviet-U.S. arms agreements concluded despite difficulties in the Cold War era.
"All this, of course, is good. But let me say it once again - the situation now is much worse than in the Cold War," wrote Medvedev, who served as president for four years while Vladimir Putin was prime minister.
"A lot worse! And through no fault of our own. The main thing is. ... do we really need this? The world is a different place."
A Russian foreign ministry source had earlier expressed puzzlement about Biden's proposal to negotiate the New START Treaty when it expires in 2026.
Biden said in a statement on Monday that his administration was ready to "expeditiously" negotiate a new framework but that Russia should demonstrate that it is ready to resume work on nuclear arms control with the United States.
"Is this a serious statement or has the White House website been hacked?" a Russian foreign ministry source told Reuters. "If this is still a serious intention, with whom exactly do they intend to discuss it?"
The New START Treaty, struck in 2011, obliged the United States and Russia to limit deployed intercontinental ballistic missiles, deployed submarine-launched ballistic missiles and deployed heavy bombers equipped for nuclear armaments. It also put limits on nuclear warheads on those deployed missiles and bombers and the launchers for those missiles. Both sides reached the central limits of the treaty by Feb. 5, 2018, and the treaty has been extended to the end of Feb. 4, 2026.
