💥💥Justin Trudeau will unveil a major overhaul of his cabinet today to address problem files like defence and deliver on key pledges on the environment and housing, while at the same time changing the senior staff in his own office.
Some of the Liberal government’s most high-profile ministers are expected to be on the move, with new leadership coming in the health, defence, and environment portfolios, sources say. Veteran Liberal MP Marc Garneau is expected to be moved out of the Global Affairs portfolio, according to the sources. Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan is expected to be given a new portfolio after six years in charge of the Canadian military.

NIH admits US funded gain-of-function in Wuhan — despite Fauci’s denials:
💥💥💥It’s another Fauci flub.
The National Institutes of Health has stunningly admitted to funding gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses at China’s Wuhan lab — despite Dr. Anthony Fauci repeatedly insisting to Congress that no such thing happened.
In a letter to Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) on Wednesday, a top NIH official blamed EcoHealth Alliance — the New York City-based nonprofit that has funneled US funds to the Wuhan lab — for not being transparent about the work it was doing.
NIH’s principal deputy director, Lawrence A. Tabak, wrote in the letter that EcoHealth’s “limited experiment” tested whether “spike proteins from naturally occurring bat coronaviruses circulating in China were capable of binding to the human ACE2 receptor in a mouse model.”
The admission from the NIH official directly contradicts Fauci’s testimony to Congress in May and July, when he denied the US had funded gain-of-function projects in Wuhan. [Daniel Brooks]

💥💥💥Vaccine passports mandated by governments will create a highly intrusive surveillance system that not only forces Canadians to reveal their health information but can also track their whereabouts, Ontario’s former privacy commissioner says.
Cavoukian, who now serves as executive director of the Global Privacy and Security by Design Centre. “Wherever you have to give your vaccine passport, it’s not just the QR code. They’re asking you for identification—your driver’s license, your phone number— there’s personal information linked to it,” said Cavoukian, who is also a senior fellow at the Ted Rogers Leadership Centre at Ryerson University. Cavoukian, who served three terms as Ontario’s information and privacy commissioner from 1997 to 2014, says the health information collected through the vaccine passport can be retained in association with a person’s geolocation around the world. “There will be geolocation data associated with where you were, and at what time. Have you read Justice Germain’s INSANE ruling against Pastor Artur?
💥The rulings against two of Canada’s most outspoken lockdown critics, Pastor Artur Pawlowski and Whistle Stop Café owner Chris Scott,may have been some of the most politically biased decisions ever rendered in a Canadian court.
Among the enormous fines and probation conditionswas a ridiculous compelled speech provision that forces Pastor Artur and Chris Scott to recite the government’s opinion of the day regarding vaccines, lockdowns and restrictions anytime they make a public statement regarding the pandemic.
Worst of all, it appears Justice Germain didn’t read several submissions from Pastor Artur’s lawyer, Sarah Miller, when deciding on the pastor's sentence.
Besides his insane ruling, the fact that a judge on a high-profile case such as this didn’t bother to do his homework is reason enough that he should be fired.

💥💥FDA panel endorses Covid-19 shot for kids 5-11 years old:
The Food and Drug Administration's independent vaccine advisers voted in favor of authorizing Pfizer and BioNTech's Covid-19 vaccine for children ages 5-11.
Panel members voted 17-0 to recommend the shot, with one abstention.
Data presented by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at the panel's meeting Tuesday showed that children ages 5 to 11 are "at least as likely" as adults to contract Covid-19, and surveillance testing suggests pediatric cases are widely underreported. Hospitalization rates also are three times higher for children of color than for white kids, highlighting racial disparities also seen among adult patients.
An FDA staff analysis released late Friday suggested the product's benefits outweigh the risks of adverse side effects to kids. However, the document also noted that balance could change if Covid case rates again fell to those seen in June, depending on the extent to which instances of myocarditis — an inflammatory heart condition linked to messenger RNA vaccines — occur in that age group.
